  • I had hot flashes but that was pretty much it - I know some people say they get super emotional on it but I didn't really have that.  Or if I did it wasn't super noticeable, no worse than mild pms
  • Hi @morgan&paul2010 - there was a good thread on this here:

    Good luck!
  • My first two cycles on clomid I didn't feel any different. But this is my 3rd cycle on it and I actually did get hot flashes and it definitely dried up my cm.
  • I think I did a total of four cycles on clomid and didn't have any side effects.  Everyone is different.

  • Clomid for me was awful, led to visual disturbances (eye floaters) and I still have them after many months...other than that, only some grogginess. On top of that, this drug carries the risk of cancer down the line. I am regretful that I even tried it (plus that cycle was a bust).
  • I had a hard time with clomid. Hot flashes, gained 5 lbs and it gave me yeast infections!
  • Thanks everyone for all the wonderful feedback! I guess it really is person to person, for sure! I am not on day 3 and I have felt queasy here and there but I can't be sure if its the climid or prenatal I started? Other then that I just am extremely tired, like out of ordinary.
  • I have done three cycles of clomid so far and the only side effects I got were hot flashes and lots of crying! I have also heard that the emotional symptoms are not super common, but I got them. I took 100mg days 5 through 9 all three times and every time, without fail, a day or two after I finished the pills I started to get really sad and weepy. I cried/wept/sobbed several times per day for about a week straight every time! No reason! Just did. It was quite annoying. My doc gave me the choice of Femara after I complained about the crying after my second round, but she advised me to stay on clomid since I got such good results from it (nice follicles and lining). This month was round 3 with 1st IUI. I am really hoping I won't ever have to take it again!!

    Good luck to you @morgan&paul2010!
