need another d&c

I miscarried 3 weeks ago and had a d&c (baby measured 13 wks, I was 16 wks when found out). I've been bleeding or spotting since and at my follow up ultrasound the dr decided I still had retained tissue and need another d&c. Anyone have experience with getting another one and what the recovery will be like this time. I'm nervous to have them go back in again tonight.
SAHM to DD (2007) DS (2009), DD (2012), loss #4 (Feb 2017 at 16 wks)

    I am sorry for your loss.  That is horrible that you need another D&C.  I have no experience with this, sorry.

    I'm so sorry for your loss...I just had a D&C at 13.5wks last week...

    a friend of mine had to have a repeat and I believe recovery was the same for her...just depends on how your body heals

    The 2nd D&C was a nicer recovery for sure, I'm finally not bleeding after more than 3 weeks! But the exhaustion is overwhelming, I'm still so tired. Don't feel depressed but feel off all over and just want to sleep by noon!
