You Know You're Pregnant When...

We had one of these at the beginning of the first trimester, and I thought it might be fun to do it again now that our symptoms and bodies have started changing.

So. You know you're pregnant when...

-you're starving but nothing sounds good.
-youe regular clothes are too small, but maternity clothes still look a little odd on you.
-your stop telling people irl your name options, because everyone has an opinion, and most of them are weird.

(Is this tmi?) But you know you're pregnant when you do the deed and once you're done, you can feel your stomach/uterus tighten and it stays like that for a few minutes before it relaxes. Ha!

When you are impatiently waiting for that whole things get better in the second tri thing to kick in and instead feel worse.
Also when every little thing irritates you to no end so you are either angry or ready to sob at any given time.

When gagging is a normal thing to happen throughout the day. It's really great when you have the sudden urge to gag in the middle of a meeting.

When you fill out new patient paperwork at the doctor and write your maiden name instead of your actual last name because preggo brain is REAL. (I haven't used that last name in 6 years!)

You know your pregnant with #2+ when you started wearing your maternity clothes almost immediately. The bloat is real ya'll and it's not worth fighting with tight pants with hair ties holding the buttons when you have a ready supply of yoga and maternity pants. To any ladies who are still fighting the good fight, I highly recommend you surrender now. Get out there and buy yourself some maternity pants. It's totally worth it.

When you sneak into your child's candy stash when he isn't home and feel no shame. We keep it in the pantry so he can't just grab it whenever. We also promised we wouldn't get into it. Whoops!

You know you're pregnant when you realize that you can no longer lean forward without first spreading your legs so you don't squish your uterus. It's attractive, let me tell you.

SHHHHH. This is why I know about the desktop version of The Bump and how I learned to GIF etc. I bump at work. I get sad when it gets dead around lunch time.

Haha! I drained my phone battery the first few days I was on TB. That's when I discovered the desktop version. Unfortunately my work blocks gifs, so if I really really want a gif, I have to search for it on my phone, copy the link, email it to myself, and then post it. Ugh.
