No, my LO is a crazy sleeper and is always all over the crib. We don't even use blankets yet, still sleep sacks. I'm too paranoid still of her covering her face.
Ya my LO is too all over the place to actually use a pillow successfully. I was curious too though so I've been reading about it. I read that there's really no need for a pillow at this age, and to consider adding one maybe when you upgrade to a bigger bed since it'll come with the bedding and all.
Pretty much Birdie uses me as a pillow. I have a little travel pillow I pulled out, because she kept trying to lie on the decorative sham, and they're super firm and fat, and it was practically folding her in half! No pillow in the crib, though.
We didn't bother with the pillow until my older son was moved to a toddler bed around 2 1/2 yrs. He didn't need one, and even when he moved it didn't actually use the pillow for another 7/8 months. We got him a small travel pillow as a transition pillow and it worked really well for about 2 years. He just got a real big boy pillow for Christmas and will be getting a twin bed for his 4th birthday in two weeks. Sometimes he still doesn't use the pillows, just tucks his head up against it, but other times he uses it just fine. The youngest is still in the crib, moves around like crazy, and would probably just try to eat it.
