Since finding out baby girl is breech I have a few appointments this upcoming week. Going to the chiropractor on Tuesday morning to get adjusted again, hoping it will encourage baby girl to move on her own.
Tuesday afternoon I have an appointment for the ECV procedure for the drs to manually turn her. Sounds painful and hoping she turns by then so it's not needed.
Friday afternoon I have a "pre-op" appointment for my Scheduled c-section on April 3. Again, hoping baby girl turns so I can have a natural birth and not a c-section. We will see .... fingers are crossed!
Y'all mind if I put LOs appt here? Have we talked about posts and check-ins yet for outside babies?
eleanor has to go back to the pedi tomorrow for a weight check. She was down 7oz from her birth weight on Friday so fx my milk finally coming in and nursing her all weekend has made some headway. We can't afford to lose anymore weight!

Regular weekly appointment on Thursday - will be 38+2. My OB doesn't start cervical checks until 39, so this is probably the last appointment where I get to keep my pants on Although I would be absolutely ecstatic if baby decided to show up before then. I am ready.
I have regular OB appt on Tuesday at 35+5, not sure if she'll start checking me & GBS then or not. I had to switch the days I was seeing her so I'm actually being seen twice in less than a week. We'll see what happens!
Eyebrow waxing appointment Thursday - holy moly is it needed! Weekly ob check Friday morning at 38+2. My ob is out of the office til Thursday so once Thursday hits, pulling out all stops, EPO, extra RR leaf tea/supplements, walking, maybe even sex haha! I'm so ready to get this show on the road! I'm sure this little girl will be stubborn like her brother and be "late" but I can dream!
Chiro tomorrow. Prenatal and NST Thursday. I'll get my gbs results then. I'll be surprised if I'm negative as I've been + for both prior births. It was no biggie to be gbs+, but it would be nice not to be this time. Hoping they don't offer to check me or I may cave out of curiosity.
@KirstinH88 No, she is right. Next week there is technically 6 days in March and then the last day of the week is April 1st. So, technically this week is the last full week! Crazy!!!

I have an appointment tomorrow to go over my blood pressure with my OB. I have been on the highest dose of Labetalol twice a day and Procardia 30 mg twice a day. I went to my appointment last week with great readings from my wrist cuff thinking I could wean off the meds. Well turns out my cuff is no longer accurate. I had to buy an upper arm monitor online, so we will see how that one has been tomorrow. He thinks this may be permanent.
I have a 35w appointment today so, probably gbs screening. I think my baby is head down so, I'm hoping the OB can tell. The midwife I saw last time said she was not experienced enough to tell. WTH? Don't say that to me. If I see her on d-day, I'm going to be nervous.
Today I had an NST and will have a phone appointment with the surgical center.. tomorrow I have blood work & hematologist appt.. and Friday regular OB. Also got word today GBS is negative.
Just got back from the chiropractor today. We had a talk about how this could have been my last appointment before baby comes! I've been having menstrual type cramps/aches since last night, and I have full intentions of pouncing DH tonight to get things going. At my 37 wk appt, I was 1 cm and 50% effaced, so I'm curious to know if that will have changed by my next appt on Wednesday at 38 wks. Everything is becoming so real.
Was supposed to have my regular OB appointment today, but my doctor called this morning to reschedule me to tomorrow since she has a funeral to attend. Also have an appointment to go back to my PCP on Thursday because this cold/sinus infection/ear infection/chest infection is just not going away...my bump is soooooo sore from all of the coughing I've been doing! If the antibiotics haven't started helping by then (Thursday), then they're going to do some x-rays to rule out pneumonia. Part of me wonders if my OB is going to put me on bedrest when she hears all of this tomorrow...it's honestly not something I would be sad about! I came back to work today and it was just absolutely exhausting to be walking around and teaching all day...I actually sat and taught for my last class, which is something I NEVER do. Bah.
@twistsandturnsto2 Good luck; I hope she's growing! That was our problem with DS...my milk just never came in and he wound up losing 20% of his body weight by day 5 (and since he was a chunker that was a almost a full 2 pounds).
@Magheeta I've been having the cramps since Saturday now. I pounced DH last night and it didn't work. Ugh. I was 80%, 2cm, and station 0 on a Wednesday so I'm really hoping things get going soon.
@SnarkasaurusRex we went back today as well. I did way more sitting than usual as well. There's so much pressure when I stand or walk that is hard to teach in the same style I used to. I feel bad for my kids this term, but not sure how much more I can do.
Thanks for the thoughts ladies! LO weighed in at 5#7oz today so all is looking great!

Regular midwife appointment today at her regular office at 37+4. It was like returning home! Normal stuff, no cervical checks. Lab is being slow on my gbs results so she called while I was there. Hopefully I get news that it's negative soon. She thinks baby could be as much as 2 lbs bigger than my first, which is a good thing. DS chose a blue balloon, had animal crackers, played with puzzles, and fed the koi. My next appointment is next Monday.
Regular weekly appointment on wednesday for me for 38 wks. She will be doing a cervical check, my first one. Just a lot of pressure in my pelvis, feels like there's a bowling ball I'm supporting with my pelvic floor.

NST was yesterday - baby girl was a pain in the butt to get her heartbeat to stay on the monitor but once we finally did she passed just fine. Dr pushed me to let her do a cervical check since we were doing the GBS test anyways (I was already game to check) and I had some significant contractions while on the NST. At a 1 and some change (her words - haha) and cervix was very soft (she doesn't like to do % this early). Said baby was very low. All good news since if baby doesn't come on her own I'll have to be induced week 39 and being closer to a 2-3 would mean I would just have to go in that morning rather than the night before. Hoping all continues to progress!! With DS I only got to barely a 1 (I doubt this - think some of it was just a little false hope, haha) and about 50% effaced by week 39.
37 week appointment at 37+2 today. Had a sono, little girl is head down still and measuring approximately 6 pounds 14 ounces. Group B from last week was negative. Absolutely no change in cervix, still "soft" but "high and no dilation" kinda bummed there was no change but oh well I guess
@twistsandturnsto2 Yay! That is great news! @SnarkasaurusRex Ugh, that sounds rough. I hope all your Drs can coordinate this out soon so, you get a little relief. If you need to sit, just sit. It would be better than being sore at night.
I kind of failed my appointment yesterday. 35w. BP was great but, I lost a few pounds and now my small belly is a thing. They want to do an u/s next week to check baby's growth. I went through this with my 1st so, I'm not too concerned. I can't help the way my body carries or the super scientific measuring tape they use.
@jennielynn+ Good luck with the u/s. I'm sure nothings wrong at this point, maybe baby just was positioned differently, which you already know

I have a redraw of my labs today for the hematologist, I'm still a little anemic, and they want my Hemoglobin to be 10 before I deliver or they'll do an iron infusion. On Thursday I'll see a midwife because my doc isn't available - she checked my cervix last week (36+3 weeks) and I was soft but closed, but head down.
Regular weekly appointment today at 36 weeks and 3 days. Expressed my slight concern over my CRAZY swollen feet/ankles. Like seriously, they are out of control. I don't give pee samples at my midwives office. But, my BP is still really great. So, my midwife wasn't worried. I am going to try and drink a crazy amount of water and rest with my feet up as much as possible today. It is probably just the combo of packing like mad for the last 4 days and then driving 4 hours yesterday. Otherwise no big concerns. Reported that the Unisom they recommended last time has saved my life. Talked about living an hour away from the hospital starting on Saturday. We talked about some different scenarios and how it will probably be fine. My belly measured right on track and baby girl is still head down, facing my back today with her big butt sticking out. The midwife laughed out loud when she felt that butt. She is super low and the midwife said she would probably be able to feel her head if she went in there and I was dilated at all. I got the GBS test done, but no cervical exam. I asked if they normally do exams or not and she said they don't routinely do any exams until I get to L&D in labor. But, if I want them to check at any point they will. I liked that answer. I didn't feel like at 36 weeks there would be a point to checking. I am trying to decide if I want them to check next week. I might pass because it is basically pointless, but I would sort of want to know if I was 4cm and 90% since I do have to drive an hour and I might leave pretty quickly if that were the case. I guess we will see how I am feeling in a week.

Baby did great at the NST.. got through my LONG phone appointment.. the surgical team needed a blood draw so had 2 today.. but good news is my platelets have gone above 90000 and stayed there for a month so I won't be going on steroids.. which means I don't have to worry about steroids screwing with my diabetes and no insulin! And the hematologist tested me for every reason it would stay low.. all negative! so he's totally confident this will resolve completely on its own after delivery Yay yay yay!!
She ended up checking me, I'm "a fingertip" dilated, which I translate to about 1 cm. I'm just shy of 36 weeks so glad to be making progress, but that baby is still baking for a bit! As much as I hate being pregnant, I want to give "the toddler" as much time as needed.
@KirstinH88 SOOOOOOOOO close. Friday evening we are moving into the in-law's and packing up our beds and stuff. So, only officially 3 more sleeps in this hell hole!!!

Add another appointment for the week for me - finally breaking down to see my family doctor PA this afternoon cause I am 99% sure I have a sinus infection and it is kicking my butt. I am so miserable and exhausted. Hopefully I get some meds that kick in asap and I can sleep better tonight and feel somewhat human by tomorrow.
Just got back from my 38wk checkup. I'm about 2cm now and still 50% effaced. I told DH that's his job to take care of. Belly measured at 39cm, and the heartbeat was 148!
Just had my 36 week appt. Everything looks good. He thinks she's head down by feel, I'm measuring appropriately, 1cm dilated, and even though I'd only gained one lb since my last appointment he said my weight gain, blood pressure, and all was good. Her hb was 160 which seems a little high but he called it healthy. Scheduled the rest of my appts weekly from here on out! The last one with my least favorite doctor but after my EDD so maybe I won't have to see her. Haha.
eta GBS swab done too. Will find out later if positive or negative.
Had my 36/37 week appointment today at 37 weeks 2 days. Lol got that? I missed my 36 week appt due to a snow storm. Baby is head down but I'm closed up. I thought all those Braxton Hicks were doing something but I guess not. Just keep on truckin....
