I have had pelvic sweat at night. Its only near the tender bits so, it freaks me out if I wake up in the night. My husband still wants to spoon so, I blame him overheating my front butt.
Also, I echo the discharge. Its not constant so, I'm surprised when I go to the bathroom and it looks like spiderman has been in my undies. GROSS!
SOAP BOX Warning: You don't have to have a P in the V to have a nice orgasm. Orgasms are a natural way to relax all the muscles that get overworked carrying a tiny human all day and bonus it releases happy hormones in the brain. The more stressed I am, the less I want sexual activities but, weirdly, it de-stresses me so much better than anything else. I feel sore, gross, tired, and misshapen. Knowing my husband will still willingly touch me gives me hope I can feel sexy again one day. Our sex life has been pathetic but, it is also a great laugh for us. Think manatee mating a mongoose.
@KirstinH88 I've been super itchy down there as well .... since the very beginning. I would have your dr check it out just to rule out a bacterial or yeast infection. One thing that has helped me is to stop using soap down there. Sounds weird but my dr said just using water to clean down there is fine. Apparently soap is an irritant for me during this time. There's not much I've been able to do about the itching. Just making sure it keeps clean and dry. And avoid scratching cus it will just hurt more. Sorry, not too much help!
I just spent about 3 hours in the pool (felt heavenly to be weightless!!!). I think I peed about 51 times. Or maybe I never stopped peeing. I'm not entirely sure. Either way, it was glorious.

@KirstinH88 Yep, another one with the itchiness. I have gone through a couple rounds of that now. It doesn't seem like it was an infection or anything because it went away every time after a week of itching. I just try and be tender and sometimes use those wet wipe things to wipe down there.

We haven't had sex since August *sob* we purposely don't in first bc we are paranoid due to losses plus I'm sick. Then I'm showing quite a bit and he is weirded out.
Well, DH groomed me up tonight. It was hilarious and I couldn't stop laughing. He did alright, but I might need to grab a mirror and fine tune a little tomorrow.

@jennielynn+ well, I got told that I should religiously have at least one orgasm a day, (with or without husband), as this will help with contractions and labour later, and will ease BHs....
Me: 35 year old FTM, a busy city banker living in London, and a constant worrier. My DH: French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever. Our baby boy: Due on 17 April, currently 37 weeks. I can't believe it - I made it to full term!!!! Last measurement: 3150 gs at 37+1! This is going to be a big baby
DH and I have only had sex a couple of times since August. The last time (about a month ago), I thought I was loosing bits of my mucous plug because the next day large white-ish globs- not like the usual pregnancy discharge- was left on the TP when I wiped. I texted his sisters to ask- they both have 4 babies- when I realized it was probably just semen. I did not share that bit of info with them.
The crotch sweat is unreal. I have to not only change my underwear everyday when I get home from work, but by pants too because they are soaked! It smells like sweat, not urine, but I'm sure there is a bit of urine in there too. I left a wet mark on my bosses chair the other day when I got up. I really hope he didn't notice.
@KirstinH88 I had some redness/irritation down there (it didn't so much itch but it was not comfortable at ALL), mentioned it to my OB and she took a look and said there weren't any signs of a yeast infection or BV. She mentioned that the pantiliner could be causing irritation, so I switched brands and sure enough that was the cause! I have no idea why since both brands were unscented... probably some other chemical I never think about. Just a thought in case you get it checked out and there's no infection.
DH and I haven't had much action here either...a lot of it stems from paranoia from my first pregnancy where ANYTHING that touched my cervix made it bleed everywhere, so even though we haven't had any bleeding time time, we're still super cautious. I also just don't enjoy it when I'm pregnant, haha. Poor DH.
Sexy time for us has been good this pregnancy. I wasn't interested much last time, but this time around has been a lot better. Now I'm trying to pounce on him to help get labor going, but he's holding off because he wants me to make it another week so he will be on paternity leave during the draft. SERIOUSLY?? He can't hold out much longer, I know it.
I, too, have crusty nipples and have been able to express some colostrum. I'm also having phantom letdowns, which freaks me out because I haven't started wearing nipple pads yet.
Here's my major TMI. There is so much pressure going on down there, when I sit in the bathtub, by butthole kisses the bottom. It's a very strange sensation, but it feels completely flat. I guess it's sticking out like my belly button at this point? DH was thrilled when I shared that with him this weekend.
@Taylor72 - I just sat in the tub and laughed because not only was that happening, I realized I was almost too big to get out on my own. I love pregnancy.
@rachelmiller03 I had the same freak-out moment when the day after sex I started losing gobs of....stuff, and this was in the second trimester so when I thought it was my mucus plug I panicked. But yea...definitely just semen lol. Happens every time now so I know what it is.
@Nolegirl1185 off topic for this thread but your comment reminded me you are a fellow cat parent so I am curious. How are they reacting to baby?? Are they mostly avoiding him or are they curious?? I can't wait to see how my kitties react to baby once he is here!
1) the freaking varicose vein on my va jay jay is the worst thing that has ever happened. I wish it was socially appropriate for me to walk around holding my crotch
2) I was waxing, but stopped around the end of 2nd tri because I was so sick I just couldn't deal with one more appointment. I've been using a trimmer since and I have a massive ingrown hair right on my underwear line. I have no idea what to do about it at this point. My doc is checking my cervix today, so I'm wondering if she'll say anything.
I second what @schef070911 said about the panty liners. I tried switching it up to a different brand once and it made me so itchy and irritated so I switched back to what I had been using. Definitely worth checking into that as well as making sure there's no infection. I've had 2 yeast infections the last month or so as well so that's gross and "fun." Thankfully it's a one dose and done med and it clears up and feels way better.
DH and I tried to induce labor last night so I wouldn't have to go back to school today. It definitely feels different, even though we just did it last week. He agreed and was kind of creeped out. He was also put off by the increase in discharge. I warned him.
@kitkat8387 Yes, we have 3 cats! 2 of them are curious. They will get close, sniff around, then run like hell when he makes noise. The other cat has yet to greet him, she really only started coming out from hiding a few days ago. My biggest fear was/is that they would jump on him when he is in the swing or bassinet etc, but they seem to have no interest in that at all. they don't stick around long enough. The 2 curious ones are also little shits when they don't get their way. Now that they don't get the same attention, they are scratching walls/door frames/spilling their water on purpose etc. My all black cat that was in one of my bump pics that was obsessed with laying across my belly still seems to think there is a baby in there because she still tries to do this. I've been pushing her away each time though because of my incision.
@kitkat8387 I was worried about how our cat would react when DS was born...before we brought him home, she was up in the bassinet and seemed super stressed about all of the new stuff and changes in the house. Once he was home though, it was kind of like she realized, "oh, that's his stuff," and then she didn't mess with anything or try to jump in the bassinet with him.. I think it helped that, after he was born, my mom took a blanket that DS had been wrapped in for her and the dog to smell to kind of get used to him before we came home. She was actually really protective of him and would sleep in front of his bassinet and later his crib when he moved in there. She just always wanted to be around him. Unfortunately she passed just before his birthday; I would have loved to see how they would have been now that he's fully mobile and a lot more interactive.
DH and I are actually on the same page about sex this whole pregnancy. We've both been trying to make it happen whenever and however possible. And it feels better than ever. Which is the exact opposite of my last pregnancy. Only problem is his insane work schedule gets in the way all the time which leaves both of us extra grumpy.
This may be more of a symptoms thing than a TMI but, last night I choked on reflux so bad that I threw up and peed myself. Like puddle on the floor. And made hemorrhoids pop out more from all the coughing that happened as a result choking and vomiting. Which also resulted in extra contractions happening all night. I forgot how fun the last month can get.
Im honestly shocked my husband still wants anything to do with me because I have zero filter and give him a detailed play by play of everything happening to my body.
@Nolegirl1185 I have 4, one of whom is a total attention whore and I have a feeling he's going to do the same things as your curious cats once he's not getting the same attention! He knows that when he misbehaves it gets my attention, good or bad - for example, in the morning when he wants me to wake up, he knocks things off my nightstand until I am awake lol. I can totally see it getting worse after the baby is here! 2 of them are older and spend most of their time sleeping, so I don't foresee them interacting with him too much, but hoping they can be friends at some point. And the 4th one is just a cuddle machine so I am most concerned about her trying to jump on him. I have been using lots of tricks to train them to stay out of the baby's things (aluminum foil on everything, spray bottle, balloons, etc.) so hoping that will help.
@SnarkasaurusRex I'm sorry your kitty passed before she was able to interact more with your DS
@McFarKane If we're going there, I have a cold and yesterday I hocked up a nickel's worth of mucus. And proceeded to pee my pants while doing so. Lovely.

Y'all. I didn't even wear pants the majority of the weekend because I've been coughing so hard from this cold and peeing myself so often that it just didn't seem worth it. I don't even want to think about what's happened to my hemorrhoids since then...
Every time I roll (or attempt to roll) over in bed I throw up in my mouth. It hurts way to much to stand up and deal with that at all so I just swallow it and pray to God to fall back to sleep. I also throw up in my mouth multiple times a day. But, the night stuff is the worst.

@mrsstuessy and @KirstinH88 same! That has been my life for the last 8 weeks probably. Some days worse than others though. All reflux for me. It's freakin nasty and I'm so over it. And I wonder what damage is being done to my esophagus.
You poor ladies with the bad reflux . I've had a few really bad nights but mostly manageable.
I can't figure myself out the last two days. I feel full of gas and pressure and almost feel constipated, yet whenever I do manage to go its diarrhea. I keep wondering whether I'm having cramping or if I'm just feeling digestive discomfort. I skipped a day on dates so I wondered if that was it, but I don't remember feeling like this. It doesn't help I have to have toddler company in the bathroom during the day, so I get "what's that smell?" and have to say things like "no, don't eat the toothpaste....no, don't chew on the counter....sure, go ahead and brush your hair"
Do I have to poop or are these contractions? A third trimester saga by ME. Oy.
I have felt terrible the last couple of days. Last night was nonstop diarrhea with tons of super irregular contractions until I threw up and went to bed. Today I just feel "off." Thankfully most of my students are testing today so it's an "easy" day at work, but still. I am so ready to be DONE.
I had some painful contractions last night, but I think it was just gas and general bowel discomfort. I tried to poop, but nothing happened. It's kinda miserable.
Ugh, you ladies are all in my thoughts! I continue to read these TMI and symptoms threads and I can't imagine what I would still be dealing with/new things to deal with at what would be 38 weeks and 2 days. Totally not trying to brag here, but I'm so glad I don't have to deal with them anymore. I have my own set of problems now, but it's not really physical. Power to you, mamas! Not much longer!
@Nolegirl1185 As I was reading that I was thinking, she's got other "symptoms" and whatnot going on! My complaints pale in comparison to yours right now! Hope you and baby J are going well!
@KirstinH88 Honestly, I'm physically doing pretty darn good. I don't have freaking time to shower!!! It's been 3 days, tomorrow will be 4 (disgusting I know!). I told DH I AM showering tomorrow so be prepared to take over when you get home from work. Anywho, I have what I can only assume is a small heat rash on my incision line that doesn't feel well and I'm assuming my 3 days of no shower is the contributing factor. At my last appointment I asked about the pain in my lower abdomen, surface level only. Apparently it is paresthesia. Basically from being cut open all the nerves have been damaged and they need time to figure out how to reconnect. This creates pain until it heals, which I'm told is about 6 months time IF it's temporary. But it could be permanent. Joy! The rest of my problems are all just mental. I'm really over the hormonal stage, I'm not crying at everything anymore haha. Sleep deprivation really takes a toll on you...as you know. I pretty much sobbed on the couch last night with a screaming baby in my arms with no idea what to do. So today, I did NOTHING aside from taking care of Jordan. Every time he fell asleep, I crawled right back in bed. I had a nice cry session today as well when I finally let DH know how I felt. He came home and took care of Jordan from 6:30 - 9:00 when I woke up and those 2.5 hours of interrupted sleep were heaven!! Earlier today, I wanted to quit breastfeeding and run away. Now that I've slept, I'm rational!
@KirstinH88 P.S. your symptoms do not pale in comparison...just different! We all have our struggles! And Baby J is great! He was 6 lbs 15.5 ounces after a weighted feed yesterday. Dude, my boy can eat! He's already a lb heavier than birth.
@Nolegirl1185 Glad you are mentally doing better. Sleep makes all the difference in the world. Which is when people always say "sleep when baby sleeps." I hope your incision heals completely. Completely different, but my mom had facial reconstruction (broke and reset her jaw) about 7(?) years ago and she still can't feel her bottom lip. And I bet that shower you get tmrw is going to be the best shower of your life. Enjoy it! Glad to hear baby is doing well and gaining weight! Keep up the great work!
@Nolegirl1185 I just want to share that I feared I would never feel comfortable again after my c section. I had a lousy recovery, an incision that opened up and leaked for weeks, and then just general discomfort and sensitivity for what felt like the better part of a year, BUT, thankfully against my fears, I don't feel that way anymore. I feel normal, I can move around normally, there are no daily symptoms that remind me I had a c section. So....hang in there. Chances are good you will heal perfectly, it just takes time.
That moment when you sneeze in the shower so of course you accidentally pee a little but you're all like "no worries, I'll let the water wash the bits, oh why isn't it hitting my bits? Ohhhh bc all the water is hitting my belly and bouncing off"
