Night Sweats

Hi All- I'm 6 wks 5 days. Last night I had drenching night sweats more than once during the night. I woke up and my whole back was wet and the sheets were wet. It freaked me out so much. This hasn't happened to me in previous pregnancies. Any one have any thoughts whether this is normal or should I be concerned?

I have night sweats too, though I had them on and off before my BFP too. But I do find myself warmer at night, even DH noticed it. I assume it's just hormones changing.

Thanks! I did read this article earlier today and it helped. I've had irrational anxiety all my life about lymphoma and stuff like that so night sweats really scare me but I guess it is just hormones. Hopefully it won't be an ongoing thing!

I've been dealing with night sweats as well. I chalked it up to the cosleeping toddler in fleece jammies that sleeps practically on my face, but last night I had them even when he was in his own room.

I've had them, too, but only twice thankfully.

I also find I get very very cold during the day and I need to bundle up even when everyone else is warm.

The hormones definitely makes sense. Seems to be the reason behind everything else, after all! I just assumed it was because our bodies are working harder and maybe because of the extra blood or something like that
