sorry if this should be posted somewhere else, I just really need some feed back my anxiety it running rampant.
So I had an ultrasound and doctors appointment today. The ultrasound went well everything looked normal and baby was right on track for 15 weeks. Then I went to my doctors office and talked to the doctor and she said due to my occasional spotting she thinks I have a small placental tear that they couldn't see on the ultrasound.
She said no bed rest yet but she wants a more comprehensive ultra sound in 4 weeks (or sooner if there's more blood) so she can get a better picture of the tear. Then she started talking about how it can lead to the baby dying, pre term labor, or hemorrhage and this could go any direction. She didn't seem horribly worried but she did say it was to be taken seriously. I thought if they couldn't see it in the ultra sound it wouldn't be that big a deal but it sounds bad. I thought everything would be okay once I made it out of the first trimester and all my genetic stuff came back good. I just need some relief from the anxiety. On top of that I've never been so depressed and I really don't have a reason why other than I never feel like the baby is safe so I can't get attached to him.
Has as anyone heard of this? Have a experience with it?
