Re: Newbie Intro Thread - Week of 03/13
I have been lurking for the past 3-4 months and am super excited to finally join in!
Ages (you and SO): I am 28 and DH is about to turn 30.
How many months have you been TTC? 2 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPK, temping, PNV
Tell us about yourself! We have been married for almost two years (together for 6), I am a teacher and DH is in law enforcement. We have two dogs that keep us busy for now!
Ages (you and SO): I am 28, and my husband is 32.
How many months have you been TTC? This month will be my 4th cycle, and we are trying for our first.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Taking prenatals, using OPK strips, and we are having sex every other day (sometimes every day) around ovulation time.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My husband and I live in Pennsylvania—I work at a college, and he works at an environmental/architectural firm. We got married in May 2016, and we were planning on waiting to start a family until we had been married for at least a year… but we’re too excited, and we decided to start trying earlier!
And to @autumn230 I say yay to another LEOW hanging around these parts!
How many months have you been TTC? Actively trying for just a month now. I stopped taking my POP in the beginning of January. We were NTNP and then started monitoring my cycle a month ago.
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? OPK, sex every 2-3 days, prenatals, and recently overhauled both our diets.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) I'm a SAHM to my amazing 14 m/o DD (nn Evy). We have two cats (Francis and Freja). I'm a huge book nerd and I love listening to podcasts. The Bump was a great resource for me during my first pregnancy and I'm hoping to have a great experience this time around. I met some really amazing women on my BMB (January '16) and we're still a really tight group and they've become my closest friends!
Welcome back @vvitchhazel

What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? I had Mirena for 2 yrs, removed in Nov. 2016 and usued Nuva Ring until last month. Taking prenatals, limiting caffeine and alcohol, healthier diet, using the Fertility Friend app to find what exactly my regular cycle is. In the app I'm charting, tempting, using Clearblue digital OPK's, checking CM and having sex as often as possible when I get the green light. I got a positive OPK Monday so now the TWW begins.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) My husband of almost 6 years is a master mechanic for New Holland and I'm a Field Staff Court Designated Worker that travels doing Juvenile diversions. Hoping to come off the road Lord willing sooner than later if baby #2 comes along. We have a Shorkie Tucker who is 1 year 9 months and cat Pepper who is 6. Our son Baylor is 2 years and 9 months. I also run a small catering business on the side with my Momma.

How many months have you been TTC? I only had my contraceptive implant removed today... so zero so far!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)? Nothing at the moment. I don't know what my cycle is going to look like or what my base line is. We're getting busy every day/every 2nd day until I get my first cycle or I fall pregnant. I'm measuring my BBT as well - but it won't tell me much at this point either.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.) One Daughter - She turns 2 in July. No pets - we live in an apartment. I'm a web/graphic designer I run my own business. It's taken off recently and I am about to hire my first employee SQUEE!!! (I am just a little excited!). My husband works in public transport and I love to sew my own clothes!
