@sqfibemom you must have missed the "read this first thread" or are you just a fan of going against the grain? Big time props, you'll go far, kid.

I know that I am in the minority here on the board, which i am still trying to accept and adapt to, but let me explain the con of having random posts everywhere.
Do you know how many "Spotting and Cramping" threads we've had, all really the same exact thing? Then, those people hardly ever stay or come back. They end up not participating or sharing their experiences or knowledge.
It's great to have someone here who's been on other BMB's because at least you might stick around.
Meanwhile, hardly anyone starts any of the threads and those that do, are doing it over and over because no one else seems to want to participate or help.
Call me bitter but if everyone wants to go off on their own each time, why can't they just Google their question?
I know this is getting off topic and will likely be closed soon, I'm just stating my peace.
*removed 1 typo, my bad
So much this!!! There is supposed to be a weekly symptoms thread started to help control the length. Every time I'm on there, there are moms helping others out. But for the love of pie (because that's my craving this week) help us out by starting the threads! I don't care if it has an assigned mom to it, if it hasn't already been started I'm sure she will appreciate the help and others I guarantee you are waiting for it.
I've been dying for HDBD to start so we can laugh at all the food babies but I hate having to be the one to start yet another thread.
I was on TB before the implosion and it was exactly like this as far as the weekly threads and not posting random symptom threads. Except everyone would hound you if you did it. This group, yes has a bit of snark to it, but a majority of it is much nicer and friendlier.
Mr. Feeny is disappointed.

Eta also, maybe in threads like this one (not to pick on you, OP! We're all just figuring this out as we go!) wording it like "How to deal with dizziness" and structuring the question to be more widely applicable to everyone will make it seem more group-oriented, if that makes sense. I liked the morning sickness remedies thread, and I don't think it's a bad thing to do that kind of thread for other symptoms we're all dealing with. That structure makes these threads more interactive for everyone to chime in and be supportive of eachother. Just an idea!
