I totally forgot it was Pi Day! Seriously, what is my Math degree good for if not remembering our most important holiday? As DH is currently sitting at the airport getting ready to head on vacation with his father, it's just me and Miles, so I'd be making pie for myself. I might go out to Sonic tonight though and get a coconut cream pie shake. Who cares that it's freezing temperatures.
I am curious about what goes into an Irish pie. Is that savory or sweet?

I thought about getting stuff to make pizza while I was grocery shopping, but since DH is out of town it didn't sound tempting enough to make for just Jackie and I. Instead I ate 3.1415926... servings of carbs.

The recipe I found was for individual pot pies with chicken, ham, kale, peas, leeks, and herbs then topped with puff pastry. All the other Irish pies I found were beef and I'm not a fan of beef pies.
