How far along are you? 16 weeks. I feel so far behind everyone else!

How big is baby? can of soda

Upcoming appointments this week? last generic appt this Friday before my AS on the 27th.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? yesterday I started feeling some pressure lower down in my uterus, today it's closer to my belly button. Just a dull, across the belly pain. Normal? Just everything stretching out down there? No cramping or bleeding so I'm not concerned enough to call the dr.

Rants/Raves/Questions? i don't know if everyone else uses a doppler, but the baby's hb is still very low at my bikini line. I know it should be slowly moving up by now; maybe this baby is just low lying?

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? in middle school I remember getting a half used sample bottle of perfume from a friend. Kind of weird?

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? My right ear now feels like I have a heart beating in there...it's so loud depending on my position. Annoying.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant: Why are they discussing a blizzard that may be heading this way tonight....please go away bad weather...I'm ready for 80 degrees and up. #SeasonallyFrustrated

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? Mother dearest brought me a book on celibacy for xmas when I was pregnant with my first child

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I just am starting to feel heavy and easily tired already. My boobs decided to get bigger and swollen and hurt over the last couple weeks which never happened with my last pregnancy. I am also weaning DD but she's been weaned from my left side for a while now and that side is the biggest! Can't imagine how big they'll be once milk comes in this time. Normally very small breasts

Rants/Raves/Questions? found out from my doc that I will likely deliver either July 31 or Aug 1 with my repeat C section. It's kind of exciting to think about a July birthday but ain't no way I'm joinin that board! Lol. Plus, I'm truly due Aug 7. It's cool because DH was due Aug 8 but ended up being late.

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? I really never expect gifts or have expectations for how "good" they need to be. But I will say, one of my showers for DD, people just went to the dollar store and grabbed a bunch of things from the baby section and threw it in a bag. While I know I should never be unappreciative, I literally just ended up throwing the stuff away because it didn't function well or I had so many duplicate items. I was frustrated because I spent a ridiculous amount of time researching and picking things for my registry and DH and I ended up having to buy most of her things. I had a lot of pregnant friends who were getting all the things they needed from every shower so I was very bitter that nobody cared to look at my registry list (which wasn't pricey or ridiculous) and just choose from things I felt I needed/wanted for my baby. Oh well! No more registries for me lol

@szwill86 I felt so behind in the Feb '16 BMB because I was due towards the end of the month. Then everybody started giving birth and some who were due after me went earlier than me. I gave birth 5 days late on Feb 28th hours before leap day lol. I will say, I'm glad to be at the beginning of the month this time but it's all in your head. We are all just so eager to meet our little ones but a couple of days or weeks is nothing in the grand scheme.

@szwill86 I'm 18 weeks and I just started noticing baby moving up from my hair line like this week. And not by much! I'm a FTM and I was worrying about the same thing, but I figured as long as I can find the heartbeat then I'm going to (try to) remain positive!

How big is baby? Croissant

Upcoming appointments this week? Not until the anatomy scan on March 29th!

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Nothing really changed. I still puked last week and felt nauseous a few times so I've basically settled in to the understanding that it won't end until birth haha

Rants/Raves/Questions? Now that DH is home for a little bit he's going to build the crib in the next month! I'm so excited!

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? Garlic powder. My ILs visited us in Florida last year and we got seafood and I cooked a huge meal for everyone. My MIL decided she wanted to make garlic bread and I told her that I don't have garlic powder because I use fresh minced garlic to make mine and that she can find that in the fridge. She got all pissy and then 3 weeks later at Christmas I got garlic powder from her. It was hard to fake laugh when really I wanted to throw it away in front of her. My house wasn't lacking garlic powder on accident... I just don't use it!

@giaw I feel you on the warmer weather! Also just a FYI- you can't be tagged in mentions with a period or space in your name. Might want to change that so people can respond to you!

@middy411 thanks for the insight re: due dates. Also- I'd feel so bad throwing things out that I got as gifts, regardless of what they are, but I feel you. Like you said, we shouldn't be ungrateful, but a registry is there for a reason to avoid what you went through.

@mokay19 thanks for the reassurance. I'm just over-analyzing every ache and twinge bc this wk was the start of my issues last pregnancy and **TW** next wk is my loss week **end TW** At least I have an appt on Fri that I can tell my concerns to my dr about. And LOL about garlic powder as a gift!

You can change it whenever you want. You just have to change it using your login info on the knot.com ... the change there will be reflected on TB, also

@szwill86 Yes! Most of the items were given to my in laws so we have "extra" things at their house instead of throwing so much away. But some things that literally broke coming out of the package or were ridiculous like a giant plastic "baby bottle" that I guess you use to store things in? Lol went straight in the trash once all the dollar store items were pulled out of it

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I felt the babies move! It was just like a little jolt or something. Couldn't believe it.

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? Actually a great gift for me, but the funniest thing was one time just before Christmas my husband told me no more Fiestaware until I got rid of some. And then I got 3 place settings in new colors for Christmas from a family member. He was a little ticked, but I was happy. not my fault!

@middy411 Our doctors have told us we'll likely deliver by the end of July (twins!) but I'm staying here. I'll just go by my due date.

@szwill86 I started feeling that a week or so ago as well. I think it's just stretching and your body getting ready to accomodate growing babies.

@SarahBethBR yay for July! lol I really wanted twins with both of my pregnancies. But at least my two girls will only be 17 months apart. I guess that's as close to twins as I'll get lol

@giaw - My mom was visiting from New England (where DH and I are from originally) and it's 75-80 and beautiful here...well she just found out her flight tomorrow morning was cancelled, and is now staying through Thursday - thrilled to be missing the shoveling since neighbors will take care of it for her while she's out of town

I miss the east coast but things like this make me happy to be where I am. Good luck with the snow! Enjoy some cocoa and a fire? That's always my favorite when I go "home" for Christmas.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? nothing new, really.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rave: DH was out of town at a bachelor party this weekend, hence my mother visiting. We killed it at Target getting everything I've been wanting to get to put the finishing touches on our apartment which is just making me feel so much more prepared for getting baby's room ready soon. We've already started with nursery furniture because of some good sales, but have a lot of cleaning/organizing to do in that room which had become DH's closet as well as a guest room and semi-office/storage.

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? I think sewing scissors for Christmas from my grandparents (picked out solely by my grandmother). How does an 8 year old pretend to appreciate that as a gift? Yea, I would sew with my grandmother when she was babysitting us (at her house, where she had everything), but we had scissors at my house and I didn't have other stuff for sewing at our house. Such a weird gift. She also gave me a spoon another year. At least it's just that they don't know their grandkids and it wasn't passive aggressive. @mokay19 Garlic powder is so, so weird. If she felt you really needed it, she should just bring it with her sometime and leave it there but don't pretend it's a "gift." Neither is great but the "gift" makes it more insulting. My mother bought us a microwave as a combo birthday gift (but asked us if we wanted it and to pick it out ourselves beforehand) because she wanted to use it when she was here to heat up her coffee.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? my lower back and hips have never hurt more...these past 2 days were definitely the worst

Rants/Raves/Questions? when will my "bump" become harder, rounder, bump-ier? Lol I saw a reflection of myself yesterday and it totally looks like I just ate way too much and was letting it all hang out.

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? I used to live with a family that were reallyyy big on gifts (I HAD to get everyone a gift or they'd be very offended)... but I always got the short end of the stick (1 weird gift from whole family): ugliest maxi dress ever that was about 5 inches too short, a re-gifted body wash/lotion set, clothes from their closet I mentioned were cute....just why..?

@kvh22 My friend is a teacher and they are cheering because it's official that schools are closed tomorrow because of the expected blizzard. I'm a part of the hospital so I'm expected to at work. Yay snow zzzzzz

How big is baby? Baby is the size of a mango. I love mangoes.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I guess my body has decided that I should get stretch marks this time around. JOY.

Rants/Raves/Questions? When I wake up in the middle of the night these days, that's it. I'm awake for the rest of the day. My son woke me up Sunday at 3:30 am with a nose bleed. I was awake until 10 last night. Not cool body. Not cool at all.

GTKY: What is the worst gift that you have ever received? My husband got me fleece pajamas a few years ago for Christmas. It was sweet, but I absolutely hate them.

@middy411 I am aiming for July 31st as my RCS date! My daughter was born in August, so it would be nice to have different birth months, if I can!
