2. How big is baby? Baseball glove or bag of potato chips
3. Team pink, blue or green? Pink!
4. Appts this week? Thursday--regular ob appt.
5. Symptoms? The same acid reflux. Extremely tired. Can't breathe. BH. Really all the same and just a bit worse. Haha.
6. Rants/Raves? Had a nice baby shower this weekend. But I only got four things on my registry. It always amuses me how you just never know if people will use it or ignore it. I appreciate frilly pink tutus but I still need a diaper pail ladies! Also, fun story--DH accidentally let baby's name slip in front of his parents and sister this weekend. His face when he realized what he had done was priceless. lol! I don't mind. He was the one who wanted to keep it secret.
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Baby shower of course. Right now all baby shower gifts are being put in the library since the nursery is not done, and it's getting out of hand. Lol. I'm swimming in the stuff though I'm so grateful for it all! Bought my thank you cards.
8. GTKY: If you could go back and tell your first trimester self anything, what would it be? This baby will stick, so it's ok to make memories and journal about it. And the nausea will go away and you'll feel better! Also start the nursery sooner! Haha.
5. Nesting is out of control over here. My back hurts.
6. Rants/Raves: I just wish my 3 yo would sleep.
7. I washed all the cloth diapers, all the newborn and 0-3 clothing, the glider slip cover, pulled out a bunch of other baby stuff to wash. Basically got the whole room mostly ready. DH got the nursery rug cleaned and set up the crib.
8. Try to let go of the anxiety as much as possible.
@KirstinH88 I think so! It was on a list a long time ago so they knew it was a possibility, so SIL said "I knew it!" And FIL said "aw, it is little Lulu after all." And MIL said "we'll pretend we didn't hear it!" and those were the only opinions offered. But by now because of our secrecy I think they knew better than to offer anything else. Lol.
4. Appts this week? On Wednesday! I'm excited, I always feel like it brings me one step closer to meeting my little one
5. Symptoms? Heartburn, BH just started, random stabbing pain in vagina, and horrible backache. Also started to feel nauseous today and I hope that goes away
6. Rants/Raves? I'm so sick of being pregnant!
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Not much, this week but I plan to get some more done this week coming up
8. GTKY: If you could go back and tell your first trimester self anything, what would it be? Don't stress, go take some nice walks before it gets cold out. Journal your experience.
5. Symptoms? Headache, back ache, heartburn, exhaustion
6. Rants/Raves? My clothes don't fit. I'm a zombie
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Scheduled hospital tour for tomorrow. Finished FMLA paperwork
8. GTKY: If you could go back and tell your first trimester self anything, what would it be? Don't stop working out and stay away from the pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving and all the Christmas cookies
4. Appts this week? Today and thursday-- today's went fine (NST and OB appt). OB was perplexed that I haven't gained any weight to date but yet baby was measuring big last week on the ultrasound. She seems convinced the ultrasound measurements are off like they were with DS. Fingers crossed!
5. Symptoms? BH - NST confirmed that they were happening and not part of my imagination.
6. Rants/Raves? Finally picked nursery fabric for a quilt for the baby's room. So excited! Now I can't wait for it to come in so I can decide which one will be the curtains as well as the crib rail cover.
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? We got one of the last few things hung up in her room (just need the item we ordered for above her crib) and I found some baskets I liked for her bookshelf. I also washed DS' old onesies from storage - PS. Oxyclean white revive as a presoak is amazing! It took out all of thestains and required zero work on my part. Just simply tossed in a scoop in a bucket with some warm water and left it. Then rung them out and put them in the wash. I'm obsessed now!
8. GTKY: If you could go back and tell your first trimester self anything, what would it be? Quit waiting and get the nursery items picked out. Also, you're going to be tired this entire pregnancy - get over it and get stuff done before you are huge!

5. Symptoms? Low back spasms, peeing every few minutes and acid reflux.
6. Rants/Raves? My biggest complaint in life is that everytime I sit down to pee my low back spasms and hurts like crazy. I swear by the time I wash my hands the warm water makes me have to pee again. Even if I have to pee just like a teaspoon amount I absolutely have to go to the bathroom that very moment. Ahh the last month of pregnancy, such a beautiful time!
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? I got a BOB double running stroller in like new condition for $275, so I'm feeling pretty amazing about that find. Also got the nursery ready for a second occupant and cleaned the car seat!
8. GTKY: If you could go back and tell your first trimester self anything, what would it be? Go back to sleep! The first trimester is hard. Be easier on yourself! Also this pregnancy is a LOT easier than your first time around, so stop worrying!
@hgrich "GTKY: If you could go back and tell your first trimester self anything, what would it be? This baby will stick, so it's ok to make memories and journal about it."
THIS. I was SO afraid to be happy for so long. I had 4 viability scans even before the 12 week scan and sobbed my heart out of relief every time I saw the heartbeat. And even since, I only started to relax as I got through that fluid scare at 30 weeks. I basically spent 3/4 of my pregnancy terrified of losing him

7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? umm...after 3 stores we finally found 1 package of preemie clothes and bought some preemie diapers
