The only RH series that I like are RHNYC and RHOC. I feel like they are the originals and I can't get into any of the others.

I am relieved that the GOP actually made an effort to replace the ACA. Is it probably going to make things worse? Yes. Is it as bad as just completely repealing and replacing with absolutely nothing? No.

@jessafishy I know you'll appreciate this one. After I get my work done today, I'm going to celebrate by starting to research things to put on my registry. There will be excel spreadsheets involved. I'm very excited.

I wanted a smoothie yesterday but there was no juice in the house (my smoothies generally are whatever fruit I have + whatever yogurt I have + whatever juice I have)...but there was margarita mix!
I took extra strength acetaminophen last night after giving in to body aches and a massive headache. And had instant ramen for dinner with extra seasoning. Hooray salt and possible ADHD.

I'm planning to tell people at work next week that I'm pregnant, but I made a poor choice when I got dressed this morning - my sweater is much more form fitting then anything else I've been wearing. Now I'm "sucking it in" when I have to go around my coworkers and it's pretty uncomfortable.
I'm supposed to be working from home today, but I just went to a yoga class, and I think I'm done with work for the day. My company is so lucky to have me.
Also, I'm in pretty tight yoga pants with a shirt that doesn't cover my butt, and I need to swing by Publix to get a script. I debated going home to change first, but screw it.
eta: and I'm going to stay long enough to grab a sub for lunch.
I am hopelessly addicted to watching Hoarders & Hoarding: Buried Alive. I like to cheer for the families & I love the moment when they get to see their house at the end. Also, my toddler & I totally ate Girl Scout cookies & watermelon for breakfast. I felt it was a mom fail, but he thought it was a party!
@beezeemarie Same. It stresses me out because I'm an attorney at a firm with a 1800/year billable hour requirement, but eff it my maternity leave will start before yearly reviews anyway.
I've got to pick my kids up from school early because this weekend competition put the mini's solos ( age 8 and under) tonight ! Umm dumb. But I get to pick them up early. Get the littlest ready ( older DD competes tomorrow) and guess what no FOX given
@Khogue4077 you're my soul sister. My toddler and I also ate girl scout cookies for breakfast. She asked, I didn't have the time and energy for a meltdown if I said no, so we ate them. No regrets
@migdala I'm an attorney too! We don't have a billable hour requirement, but we're a super small firm and so freaking busy that I *almost* feel guilty on days that I'm slacking.

@migdala Same profession here but my billables are in the 1600/year range. I have lots of non-profit board, speaking, writing, marketing, etc. requirements, in addition though. I have done s*** the last few weeks.

@beezeemarie@aprilsarahjune I don't know how anyone actually gets legal work done in the first trimester, I feel way too brain dead to be trusted with anything important! I'm hoping to be a SAHM someday but prob not til after our second kid. When I first started out I was all rah-rah LAW, I'm gonna be a lawyer forever!!! Now I'm like, maybe I can be a photographer ... or a doula ... or literally anything that gets me out of this office and off the billable hour treadmill.
@migdala this is me 100%. I'm on baby no. 2 and desperately trying to figure out a way to avoid going back to work after this one. I actually started a photography business last year, which is going really well, but I'm not sure I'm going to be at the point financially where we can justify making the switch to photography only when this baby comes.
After DD was born, I worked PT for about 6 months. At this point, I think that might be the most feasible option, but on a permanent basis. Now to get my boss on board...
October 2017 June Siggy Challenge -- "You Had One Job!"
@beezeemarie@migdala@aprilsarahjune Hi fellow attorneys! You are preaching to the choir. I was entering time earlier today and could not remember where I was on Monday (home or at the office), so it's bad here too. I don't have a billable requirement but we've been super busy and I'm struggling to keep up. I'm going to have to have them stop assigning me cases that have deadlines/settlement conferences past September soon and we'll start that discussion about maternity leave. @migdala I don't know that I ever was "rah-rah" about being an attorney...maybe the first week or two, ha! I am just thankful for flexibility right now.
A facebook friend posted a picture of her old-enough-to-know-better-kid at a moderately-nice restaurant, climbing between the booth and the table. By climbing I mean her hands are on the table and her feet are on the top of the booth (where heads go).
I so badly want to comment that THIS is why people hate kids in restaurants. I am no perfect mom and I swear I'm not even this judgy usually (I am, however, showing a pretty short temper today - even my employees have taken notice of it, so I'll blame it partially on hormones). But we have worked SO hard with DD on manners when we go out to restaurants and it drives me nuts when people think that their kids being terrors is adorable. I was a waitress. It's not adorable.

Which leads me to my final confession: this might be the first weekend that I am really going to miss alcohol.
Happy Friday, mamas!
YESSSSSSSS.
We had to tell our next door neighbors this week because she already suspected - I'd gone two weekends in a row declining to have wine on the front porch with her. Major red flag. Busted by a glass of wine.
We spent a lot of time last summer with neighbors on the front porch having drinks and on the lake with drinks. Guess I'm the sober captain this year

@VLillyV I enjoy lurking November too, mostly because they have a freaking amazing TTGP group, but also because the board's level of organization has me in awe.
My DD is out with her dad at the grocery store (praise Jesus) so I'm sitting her alone watching the new Tangled Before Ever After and eating all her fruity snacks.
