Anyone else trying to exercise through the end? I've been pretty good about doing my 20-30 minute prenatal workouts on YouTube at least every other day, but sometimes (like this morning) it takes so much effort to get me out of bed and get started.

I use my elliptical for about 10-15mins twice a day and then do a few leg/butt and lower back exercises and stretches. It seems to improve my energy level and decrease anxiety. But I agree getting started is quite the struggle lately.
Up until two weeks ago, my weekly schedule was 2x yoga and 2x strength training and 1+ mile walks everyday. I had cut back my strength training to once a week but I am still going to prenatal yoga twice a week and walking everyday. This week, though, I couldn't handle any of that. I really struggle with letting myself rest. Sometimes it kind of freaks me out how much physical ability I've lost. I wouldn't say I am a "fit person" but pre-pregnany I ran anywhere from 2-6 miles a week and did weight training 2-3 times a week, plus daily walks with the dog. I am just a super active person. I love cleaning the house, working in the yard...being up running around. I am looking forward to getting some of that back.
When not pregnant, my primary form of exercise is running, but once my joints start loosening up from the pregnancy I can't keep up with it due to a previous knee and hip injury. So, this time I was trying to be good and do prenatal yoga and 3x weekly walks. I've been decently diligent about my walks (usually 2-3 miles), baring this bipolar weather we've had, but I fell off the yoga train a couple of months ago when they switched the only prenatal yoga class at my studio from evenings to midday...on a weekday! Ugh, so frustrating. I should probably get on YouTube and find some 3rd tri yoga to do for these last few weeks.
But, on the plus side, only 10 more weeks until I can start running again! I have a half marathon that I want to do in October.
I'm trying to just do my step counting - 10,000 a day which usually means I have to go for a purposeful walk on top of normal daily activities. It's been hard to feel up for it with the lack of sleep lately though!
I wish! The extent for me is weekly prenatal yoga. I'm a workout person 4-5x/wk when I'm not pregnant but I lose stamina and endurance in first tri every pregnancy and just am a breathless disaster.
It's been a struggle over here too, especially since pelvic pressure increased in the last week or so. Walking is often not very comfortable (even really slow) - but the support belt does help. I have some light (5 lb) weight or bodyweight exercises that I've been trying to keep up, but some of those exercises are beginning to be uncomfortable as well. Getting a birth ball/balance ball has really helped because I can sit on it and watch TV and feel like I'm at least doing something.
My workplace does a fitness challenge in March so that is helping me stay a little more motivated, as long as I remember to modify everything!
I go on leisurely walks with my toddler and call that exercise! I will also do very light hip/ core/ low back exercises on the ground while I'm watching tv- but that's mainly to manage back pain. For me, as long as I'm moving around all day and not sitting at a desk too long- I'm winded most of the time anyway and just carrying around a growing baby all day is enough exercise for me!
I really had good intentions. After the nausea and pelvic pain of the first trimester I started walking more and using free weights and some light aerobic exercises. Then I broke my foot and all I could do was arm exercises for seven weeks. Now I can't do anything without all the acid in my stomach threatening to spill out of my esophagus except some light stretching so I've just been content with that. I wish I had stayed more fit and now I think all my muscle tone is gone.
I'm walking most days (.... okay maybe not MOST) because of GD. Otherwise, I'll be honest, I feel like with a toddler I'd probably not be exercising very much. The All 90s station on Amazon Music is very, very helpful for motivating myself to move.
I always thought I would be one of those women who stayed super active during their pregnancy, since I was really active beforehand. And for the first 2 weeks that I knew I was pregnant I kept working out every day - hiking, spin class, zumba, etc. Then nausea hit and I stopped doing anything until like 20 weeks. Now I am just trying to walk every day. I am so excited to get back into my active routine this summer and feel like myself again.
I am still running 5 days a week, but my pace has slowed way down and I have really limited the number of hills that I run.
I am hoping to continue running 5 days a week as long as possible. Right now I am still going 4 miles most days and aiming for 6 once a week. That day is tomorrow, so we will see...
I was able to run up until the day I delivered DS, but I feel like it's more difficult this time around. I still have 6 weeks to go and plan on running as long as I can and switching to walking, or alternating running and walking when I can't.
@chelle087 Girl you are still running 4-6 miles?!? I am super impressed!! Hope I can get back to that level postpartum once my feet aren't the size of bricks anymore!
I also wish I could run 4-5 miles right now. I started getting bad cramps even walking on the treadmill on an incline so I had to give that up. I have big goals for running after I can get back into it, though

I was working out at least once a week until I hit around 32 weeks. Then I lost all motivation/was unable to meet with my trainer once a week. I have been to the gym in over a month. I just try to keep moving and walk/move around. I've done some light weights at home but not super often. The few nice days we've had I've taken the dog on a walk. It is supposed to get into the 50s next week (as opposed to it being 12 degrees right now) so I'm hopeful to get some walking in!
My exercise is mostly just taking walks 30min-1 hour every other day. Before getting pregnant I used to hike every weekend. But I had PGAL and didn't do much the first trimester and it was hard to kept up hiking after that. The weekend we conceived, I hiked the tallest mountain in Souther California at 11,600 elevation and 18 miles. I sure miss hiking but I am looking forward to hiking with our LO.
I was doing zumba and yoga a few times a week until about a month ago when I had that rando bout of extreme nausea. I never got back on board after. I know I'd get more energy if I did work out but I feel dead by the time I get DD to bed every night. This week is my spring break so I'm hoping to at least start walking again.
When pregnant with DD, I was doing an hour long walk and 1.5 hours of yoga daily at this point. I'm worried about my stamina in labor since I've let myself go so much...

We're planning on going to the Farmer's Market tmrw. Mostly just for the nice weather, walking, and nachos! But I already told DH that I'll most likely be walking MUCH slower than him and the boys AND I may need to take a few million breaks.
When I was pregnant with DS, DH used to always take me to the Farmer's Market just to get me up and walking. I think it helped with a quick labor/birth, so we are gonna try it again. Maybe go twice a month depending on what's going on.
I canceled my gym membership yesterday. It felt kinda crummy but a) I haven't used it in over a month because I tend to overwork myself when I go, b) they don't have childcare so I won't be using it postpartum, c) we're moving over the summer so I was going to have to cancel at some point anyway. Guess it's at-home workouts and as much walking as my pelvis will let me from here on out!
I've still been going to the gym 3-4 times per week. Until last week I was still doing my usual intense classes (TRX and Cardio Kickboxing). My pelvic pain has gotten really bad over the past week and it's a struggle to get out of bed in the morning. Once I'm up and going I feel ok. I'm planning to just use the Stairclimber and continue with weights and stretches until the end. I'm 36 weeks now so I'm proud of making it this far. I really didn't work out with #2 or #3 except for prenatal yoga. This time, I think keeping my fitness routine has helped me stay somewhat ahead of the SPD (pelvic pain).
I was doing really well up until 1.5/2 weeks ago. I now just have this really bad groing pain that is really limiting my mobility. It's too bad because before it got bad I was walking a lot and working out 3-4 times a week. It's really frustrating not being able to move as much as a want... But only about 3 weeks left to go, so I'll try to be as active as the pain will let me be.

I've been fit my whole life... As soon as pregnancy hit it was like motivation shut off and I couldn't breathe at all and I miss working out and feeling good. I can't wait to get back with it and get my abs and butt back. And hopefully lose some of these giant boobs!
