I am late to get this started but her little one isn't in any hurry either.

Leslie checked in for her induction at 5 p.m. and was still fingertip dilated at my last update from her during the night. They were attempting to place a Foley bulb last night but could not so they were giving her a couple more hours to contract as she was having contractions 2-3 minutes apart.

Update this morning is that she got the Foley Bulb at 6 am and and her epidural at 9:30. Now at 4 cm and finally comfortable!

We had tornado sirens going off around 6 here too, but I will let her update that part!

12:00 update, she is at 5 cm and they broke her water! Little girl is still happy and cozy in there.

Elise Jane came today at 5:58 pm after 25 hours of labor. She was 7 lbs 9 oz and 21 inches long. We are totally smitten and exhausted! I'll post the whole thing when I have some time!

She's so pretty!! That was crazy you had to sit in the hallway during labor! What an interesting stiry (story) it will always be to tell. My son said he heard on the radio that there was tornado warnings, but he named off everywhere except where we live, haha. It certainly seems like your baby girl had no plans on greeting the world on her own lol. Congratulations!
