This is for all our March moms who have experienced a loss- we are here to support one another!
Even though I'm technically not PGAL anymore, thought I would keep this check in going to continue to be a supportive place for us still waiting to meet our rainbows or for those who just recently did!
1. How far along are you/when was your baby born?
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to?
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? If you have already given birth...was your experience like you expected?
Re: PGAL Check In 3/6
1. How far along are you/when was your baby born? Born on 2/18
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to? Baby has already had 1st doc appt last Friday and went with me to the lactation consultant twice already. Everything is all good. She did lose some weight at first but she's back to over her birthweight.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: can't get enough of baby kisses. Also went to take her to get her newborn pictures done this past weekend so I'm excited to see how they come out.
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? If you have already given birth...was your experience like you expected? My birth was somewhat like expected. I went into labor sooner than expected. This was my 2nd c-section and it went way better than my first. Recovery was also much better.
1. How far along are you/when was your baby born? 38w3d
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to? Saw the doc today - blood pressure still isn't great, so they officially scheduled an induction... Not excited that it won't be the birth story I had originally hoped for... but on the bright side, only 4 days until I get to hold my LO!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I am so excited for all of us to meet our rainbow babies this month!!!
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? I've been put on bedrest, so not really much I can do to get ready.... I'm definitely a nervous and excited ball of energy just waiting these last few days... Having a real date makes it SO REAL!
1. How far along are you/when was your baby born? 40w2d
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to? Induction on Wednesday...finally getting to hold my baby!!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: I've loved reading all of the birth announcements these past few days/weeks and am excited to add my own in a few days!
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? If you have already given birth...was your experience like you expected? I'm nervous. Just trying to keep myself busy and calm!
Baby Boy: coming March 2017
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to? Took DD to her first post hospital pediatrician appointment today...she is almost back to her birth weight and her jaundice is much better. Doctor says she looks great!
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: My mom has been here helping me out which I really appreciate...she has been making me meals, going grocery shopping, doing laundry, cleaning....just appreciate all the love and excitement shown from all my family and friends.
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? If you have already given birth...was your experience like you expected? I was definitely nervous...obviously as a FTM you don't know what to expect. Last week I was totally not planning to have the baby early because I really wasn't showing any signs (no contractions, she didn't drop, I wasn't dilated at my last OB appointment) but I was eating dates and bouncing on a birthing ball which are the only things I did that could of contributed to my water breaking! Labor was a lot more painful than I thought...I really tried to go natural but ended up getting a epidural and needing to be on pitocin. In the end baby is here safe and sound and I look back at the experience and have a new sense of strength about myself.
@mcdonald-bailey I'm glad your 2nd c section experience is better and can't wait to see your newborn photos! (if you would like to share)
@JustAnotherUsername16 @liepertsm, you guys are meeting your rainbows this week...so exciting. I hope everything goes well!!!
JustAnotherUsername16 I'm so sorry that your plan has changed but how exciting to know that your lo is coming! You will still rock this induction aside!!!
@liepertsm yeah for having a date to meet your lo!!!

2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to?
Midwife comes over tmw
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes:
I'm assuming we will start talking natural induction methods tmw. I'm so on the fence. I'd be okay if she waited until next week but I don't want to go so far that I can no longer have thr he birth. So I guess I'll focus on finding out when I should hook myself up to thr pump lol. I know walking isn't helping a bit bc I'm ALWAYS on my feet these last couple weeks.

At 40w+ I've run out of things to do to prep! I could make play lists, do my taxes, wash and curl my hair?
1. How far along are you/when was your baby born? 38 weeks today. So happy to see all these march babies being born. Can't wait for mine.
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to? My OB is on vacation for 2 weeks so meeting the Np on Thursday.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: The sun was shining today and I had so much energy. I've missed this feeling. Rant: Baby has been really quiet with movement today. I know he's there bc he's had some hiccups. I wish he'd move some more to quiet my PGAL brain. At least I have weekly appointments now to help ease my anxiety.
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? If you have already given birth...was your experience like you expected? I got everything set up for baby this weekend. Still in denial about the whole processs of giving birth. I still feel like I have ages to go but then I get a glimpse of my body in a reflection and freak out. Im huge and it's almost go time. Aaaahhhhhh
1. How far along are you/when was your baby born? 37+2 today
2. Next appointment (OB or ped)/any milestone you're looking forward to? I have my regular OB visit on Friday. nothing exciting. Interested to hear the results of my GBS. I would think if it was positive they would have called me, but who knows.
3. Rant/Rave/Positive Vibes: 1) I need to call my doctors office and throw a tantrum. They have still yet to confirm the date/time of my c-section. We are talking this is less than 2 weeks away now. IDK if I have to have any pre-op testing or anything done, but this seems ridiculous to me. The last time I have heard from them with any discussion about the plan was Monday & they only knew the doctor's schedules for that week and NOT the hospital schedule......how is that even logical?!
2) I know I have told you guys about my Mom's health struggles. Unfortunately we learned last week that she has a recurrence of her pancreatic cancer. She has been transitioned to hospice. It's terribly sad. She should be with us at least until the baby is born. Hopefully long enough to enjoy some special moments with her.
4. GTKY: Since March has begun and baby watch is in full force, how are you all feeling about your upcoming birth? Doing anything to prepare or get things going faster? If you have already given birth...was your experience like you expected? I am still in the final push to get things in order. I really need this weekend to be here already. I have a very short list of things I feel are unfinished and I think I should be able to get it all done on Saturday. My work offers 2 weeks of no none needed paid at 100% short term disability before you due date. I was not going to use this, but given the recent news about my Mom I just need to de-stress for a few days before the c-section. So next Tuesday the 14th is my last day of work! Hoping the CS will be the 21st or the 23rd.
