How far along are you? 17 weeks

Upcoming appointments this week? Not until the anatomy scan on March 29th! And DH will actually be in town and able to come!! Wooo!

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? No real changes. My appetite is still doing well! My pelvic region has been feeling more pressure lately so I hope that's normal.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Any good recommendations of where to get cheap diapers? We're trying to slowly buy some throughout the pregnancy so we worry less about it when the time comes, but being a FTM, I just don't know where the best place to find good deals on them is!

Next Saturday...hopefully can tell me the sex.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? My zodiac sign and pregnancy don't mix...as a Cancer I'm already always emotional...this is getting out of hand LOL. Heartburn continues to annoy me and I'm going to continue eating Pizza because Pizza is life.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I hate when my SO tells me "relax" when I'm not even hype. Don't tell me to calm down unless I'm swinging from the curtains or something. *rant over*

GTKY: What song can you never skip or change right now on the radio?

Pandora is a part of my daily for morning praise and worship as I drive. My 12 year old and I singing as I drive her to school, I'm smiling wondering if baby can hear us. I always sang to my daughter and her voice is semi better than mine. Lol. Going to keep playing my gospel and singing.

Upcoming appointments this week? None this week. We see our regular OB next week, and like everyone, I'm hoping we'll find out the sexes. If we don't I'm making an appointment at an elective ultrasound place.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? New craving - vanilla yogurt. I haven't been able to stomach yogurt since I got pregnant and now I want it constantly.

Rants/Raves/Questions? Our first appointment with the MFM last week did not go well. Nothing was wrong, but the doctor was a real asshole, when I straight up asked if everything was all right he said "we can't really see much yet." And when he said our family was growing and I said yeah, we're doubling, he said "well, we hope we get there." Yes, we do. And since we have no indication that anything is wrong with either baby let's assume we get there until we know something different. He just...should not be treating high risk pregnancies. I felt way worse after leaving his office. He also blocked the screen the whole time he was talking to us so we barely got to see Baby B. Hello! I want to see my babies!

@mokay19 I don't know if you're an Amazon prime member, but my sister recommends getting diapers from there. More in a box and less money.

@GiaW sorry for the heartburn. I ate pizza twice in 24 hrs this weekend and I couldn't imagine not having it! I'd prolly just eat it anyways like you.

@SarahBethBR ugh sorry for your crappy dr experience. Drs with poor bedside manner should stick to doing research and not patient interaction. Hopefully he's not the only dr in the practice and there's other ones you can see.

How far along are you? 15 weeks

How big is baby? Cinnamon roll (mmm!)

Upcoming appointments this week? None. Just had a generic one on Fri that was a whopping 15 mins (bp, urine test, hb). Next one's on St. Patty's Day for another generic.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I had some weird vibrations that I can only describe as feeling like a phone vibrating on my stomach last week. It was constant all day but not noticeable unless I was sitting and thinking about it. My dr wasn't concerned and it has stopped so who knows. @mokay19 I am starting to have some tension feeling in my lower pelvic region, too. Hoping it's just internal stretching of my uterus??

Rants/Raves/Questions? Rant- I broke down and bought a belly band this morning when I had to try on three different work pants to find one that semi fit. It's hard to do the rubberband trick bc all my work pants are a clasp closure, not a button. And when I can do it, my zipper falls down with any movement. I was hoping to make it a bit further with normal clothes bc no one at work knows yet, but that may not be the case if it becomes more obvious soon. Sigh.

@SarahBethBR That's seriously awful... why did he need to have such a negative attitude? Just unnecessary. I wonder if you could call your office and request another appointment, especially because you didn't even get to see Baby B.

@mokay19 be careful on stocking up on diapers too much. Some LOs have reactions to certain brands or certain brands simply don't work well for them (leaks, bad fit, etc). That said, if you want to spend a little time on coupons, Target can have some great deals. You can stack Cartwheel, manufacturer coupons, and Target gift cards. Be sure to check out sites like KrazyCouponLady, TotallyTarget, etc. I've also heard great reviews for diapers at Aldi and they are cheap without coupons.

@szwill86 I totally agree. I was like uh, you are in the wrong job, sir. He is one of 6 doctors in the practice and our regular OB is going to request that we not see him again.

@secicc12 No idea. I wonder if he felt that he needed to impress upon us that twin pregnancies are risky? Duh, we know that. That's why we're at a HIGH RISK doctor. With twins, we end up having appointments with ultrasounds every two weeks, so I don't really feel the need to add another appointment. We go back to the MFM in 4 weeks I think. I'm hoping for a much more positive experience then.

Upcoming appointments this week? Anatomy scan on Tuesday. Hope the tech is nicer than she was last year when I had this for DD. We already found out the gender at an elective ultrasound place so I didn't have to worry about the tech telling me with her rude attitude. (Another girl!)

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? I have on and off dull vaginal pain and pressure . I had it a lot towards the end of my pregnancy with DD1 but it seems to be much much sooner this time. I've started to get winded easily and feel a little like a beached whale. It feels too early for all of this! I'm definitely out of shape but my stairs are killing me.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I need DH to hurry up and help me clean out the guest bedroom and get rid of things so I can go ahead and order nursery furniture! I was waiting to find out the gender and now that I know I just want to start putting it together sheesh!

GTKY: What song can you never skip or change right now on the radio? Not really anything I'm hearing lately but occasionally Oui by Jeremih comes on and I get all into it

ETA: @mokay19 I've tried many diapers and not all the ones other people use will fit or work best for you. I buy the Aldi diapers now and think they're better than a lot of other brands and also cheapest. I returned all the Huggies I could after DD1 came.

How far along are you? 16 weeks (+1 day since it is now Tuesday, sorry for the late post)

How big is baby? Avocado

Upcoming appointments this week? 16 week appointment on Friday. Did the second trimester blood draw for the integrated screen yesterday.

Any new symptoms or changes or cravings? Some weird twinges in the bottom left of my abdomen not at all related to when I'm moving (or any other reason for RLP). It ranges from uncomfortable to painful. At my NT ultrasound, I had an ovarian cyst on both sides, one of which was bigger and should be monitored, but I can't remember which side. Maybe it's just my slower digestive system causing the pain, though. Also, my appetite is back so I have been eating a lot more, which is good since I am still not at my pre-pregnancy weight despite never actually getting sick (just feeling nauseous). I still hate chicken and meat. DH is hoping I get past that one ASAP.

Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm only 5'4" and I have totally popped. Most maternity shirts are still a little too loose but my regular clothes just look frumpy or don't fit at all. None of my pants have fit for a few weeks but my maternity jeans are amazing. @szwill86 You really can't tell when someone is wearing maternity pants. Once you're belly is too big to hide in whatever shirt you're wearing, it's obvious to others, but I was in the maternity jeans for my afternoon bloat a few weeks ago and the comfort level was amazing. I have one pair of maternity dress pants that I really like, I figure if you're going to have to buy them anyways, you might as well get them earlier and be comfortable. It's obviously up to each of us what works best for us, but it's not like a bra where we're going to be growing out of them in a month anyways. With twins, I'm super impressed you've made it this far without maternity pants. Again, do whatever is right for you, but I love love love my maternity pants! Especially because my work pants are more high-waisted than my casual pants (as are all of my pencil skirts, etc.). I'd recommend dresses for comfort as well, but the ones that would fit really accentuate the bump which doesn't sound like would work for you yet if you're waiting longer to tell.

GTKY: What song can you never skip or change right now on the radio? We've been listening to a lot of amazon music so I don't know the name of everything. Looking at our recently played, One Call Away by Charlie Puth is one I have been loving.

@kvh22 thanks for the advice. I'm 5'10 with a long torso so I think that's helped my cause so far

I just ordered some maternity dress pants from Old Navy to see if I like them or not. I wore my under the belly maternity leggings on Friday (for casual Friday) and it was the most comfortable I've been in 16 weeks. I'm ready for spring weather so I can just throw on a maxi dress and call it a day! Hope your appt goes well on Fri and your twinges subside.

I LOVE MATERNITY JEANS. It's going to be really fucking rough for me to go back to regular jeans after these babies are out.

I have the kind that just have the elastic where the front pockets would go and they're really not noticeable. I know they won't last me the whole time, but they're good for now.
