For once, DH and I actually kind of planned out our week before grocery shopping. I feel like a responsible adult but it's also super simple since two nights we'll be out lol
Today: steak, twice baked potatoes and fruit salad Tuesday: beef stew and biscuits Wednesday: grilled chicken and vegetables Thursday: out for DD's birthday - I believe she has decided on Subway Friday: out for DD's birthday party (crap pizza from a party place, blah) Saturday: whatever is laying around and sounds good
I'm also feeling off with food today but here is my plan for the week:
Monday - Naked Pasta with Garlic Bread Tuesday - Cheesy Cornbread Casserole & Steamed Veggies Wednesday - Chicken Stir Fry with Noodles Thursday - Crock Pot Green Chili Enchilada Soup with Bread Friday - Tuna Melts with Tomato Soup

@baker1jm2, I'm with you! I can't even read this thread!
I can't stand cooking lately. But I also can't stomach leftovers. So we have a ton of take out/frozen meals in our fridge that I've ate one bite of and then put away. Sigh.
@shan24 Basically pasta in a garlic/butter/olive oil/red pepper flake sauce. You can also add in shrimp or chicken but we usually just do it "naked".
So I melt like 1/2 a stick of butter, add a generous amount of olive oil and saute garlic in it. Add in salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes and simmer to meld flavors then toss prepared pasta of your choice in the "sauce".
If you like butter and garlic, it's delicious!

I was actually organised and prepared a massive pasta bake on Sunday to have Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday - MIL cooks Thursday - slow cooked chicken thighs and potatoes Friday - MIL cooks
Tonight I'll either make a large pot of spaghetti or bake a crap ton of chicken my husband bought at the store. We will live off of this with leftovers the rest of the week. (We are big on leftovers as it's easy for my husband to heat up for our son when they get home in the evenings and I'm still working).
Saturday we will either finish up leftovers or go out to eat. My husband did the grocery run this week so I really have no idea what he had in mind for meals when he went shopping.
I love looking at your meals for new ideas bc we always eat the same ol things. So I'll try and be of help and remember to post our meals each week! Thanks for the ideas, ladies!
Planning?? LMAO Planning is out the window for me. My stomach and cravings change every few hours so I've been stocking up on lots of easy to make options nd hope at least one suits me at the moment. (frozen mini pizzas, prepacked salads, chicken nuggets) Trader Joe's FTW We're (thankfully) having dinner at my parents' house twice this week so that's two dinners I don't have to worry about, just make sure I snack well beforehand because they eat later than we usually do at home
Monday - We ate enchiladas and steamed veggies Tuesday - Cajun alfredo sausage pasta w/ spinach Wednesday - Slow cooked BBQ sandwiches w/ sweet potato fries Thursday - Dinner party and they're service hamburgers, beans, etc. Friday - Chicken, broccoli and rice casserole
@afwoods10 I'm gonna need you to share that Cajun Alfredo Sausage Pasta recipe.

I think the chicken is a little overkill with the sausage, so I take that out and add spinach instead. So easy!
Yuuuuum. I'm going to have to try this. Thanks!!
