13+3 Still randomly nauseous. Last night was awful. Heartburn and indigestion have taken hold. Also awful. Still constipated. RLP can be killer. Oh and I had some heart palpitations the other day when picking up DS' toys. Took my breath away. My doctor said they want to check my thyroid because that can be either from pregnancy or thyroid problems... so I need to go get my blood drawn... booooo... my mom and sister both have hypothyroidism but I'm hoping I have managed to escape that
11 weeks 2 days, I thought my morning sickness was easing up but every time I start to think that it comes back with a bang! I had the most terrible evening yesterday, threw up a zillion times and felt so weak and nauseous throughout the night, continued throwing up in the morning and even saw little bit blood, heard it's normal in pregnancy if you throw up too much
12+0 Thursday, Friday, and Saturday I felt great! No nausea, increase energy. Then Sunday I vomited several times and was on the couch the whole day. Ugh, can the 2nd tri glow start soon? I also have started getting dizzy spells. Anyone have any tips on how to avoid that?
Edit: I've also started to feel the top of my uterus just barely poking up from my pubic bone. I have to be careful leaning against countertops and tables now.
@HollyGolightly09@sarahufl You can try a humidifier in your room at night. And I think I remember being told I could take Sudafed during my second pregnancy, because I was pissed no one told me that during my first one! (WebMD says not to use during first tri...so maybe check with your doc. I don't remember when I took it.)
@mrsmgsee For the dizzyness, make sure you are super-hydrated, and get up slowly from sitting or lying down. I've dealt with dizzyness and fainting since I was a little kid (hypotension), so I get it. It's tough. Otherwise, try keeping your blood sugars stable and get a good amount of protein/iron if you can. Do you tend to get them after doing certain things or at certain times? Or do they seem random?
I had a rougher weekend that usual. I spend most of it on the couch, because if I stood up I got the most terrible throbbing pain in the back of my head. Also alternated between waves of nausea and waves of extreme hunger. F-ing hormones. Today I feel okay except I'm so flipping bloated it's insane.
Had one dizzy spell yesterday. I forced myself to drink a green smoothie than a glass of water and it seemed to do the trick.
Felt pressure yesterday for most of the day like my uterus was expanding/growing plus I had horrible gas pains.
Also got my first taste of acid re flux when I laid on my right side to sleep last night which is where most of the gas pain was coming from. I did not experience heartburn/ re flux until the third trimester with DS so this is going to be fun. Nothing like that sour burning feeling in your throat.
FYI... I was experiencing a week straight last week of horrible headaches. My midwife asked if I was getting enough protein so I upped my intake and have not had one since.
13+1 -Nausea is mostly in the evenings now, but the severity varies. Evenings feel like nausea roulette- some evenings it's manageable, some evenings you throw up until there's nothing left. It's fantastic. -shortness of breath and occasional heart palpitations -pelvic girdle and coccyx pain -lightening crotch- which I have discovered is just as horrible as its name suggests -And all the usuals: frequent peeing, constant hunger, dry mouth that no amount of water sipping seems to cure, constipation, lots of burping, constant congestion, exhaustion, headaches. You know the drill.
@mrsmgsee I was having dizziness about a month ago, and it ended up being from low blood sugar from being sick all the time. My doctor changed up my nausea medication, and I started eating small portions of food every hour of so, and it eased up.
@amandarene112 in my last pregnancy I also had low blood sugar, not too bad but enough to make me dizzy as well. I had to make sure I was eating right when I got up and had some good snacks throughout my day. It was only a couple points I think so like I said it wasn't even very bad at all. I also had wicked low blood pressure and every time the nurses took it they'd ask if I was feeling okay, getting dizzy and such
edited to add that that you're having heart palpitations too?!?!?!
My boobs are hurting more again! Rolling over on them hurts Gassy, bloat, hip pain, tailbone pain. I am not quite as hungry, thank goodness. I've been having some pretty bad low blood sugars within the past week. And exhaustion.
@amandarene112 hmm what constitutes pelvic girdle pain? I've got the coccyx pain too! It gets worse if I'm standing for long periods of time.

@daniellelynette Yeah, I've been having them for weeks now. My doctor says they're super common in pregnancy, especially as your blood flow continues to increase. He's not worried about them at all, they just always catch me off guard.
@Sugargirl1019 Pelvic girdle pain is a general term for all the aches and pains from your lumbar to your butt that occur in pregnancy as everything moves around down there. Fo me, my tailbone, the very end of my spine, an my hips have been hurting a lot, but it can be really varied.
@amandarene112 I had them a LOT with DS and I just started having some like the day before yesterday I think. My doctor also said they're common during pregnancy but she also says that combined with some of my other symptoms she just wants to double check my thyroid to make sure all is good there. Especially since my mom, sister, aunts and grandma all have thyroid problems. I know my mom and sister are hypothyroid and I think grandma too but I'm not sure about my aunts, hyper or hypo. *TW* My sister in law had thyroid problems that caused her to lose her first pregnancy. So I'm totally okay with giving blood to get my thyroid checked!
Low blood pressure.. I've never had high blood pressure but it seems to get lower during pregnancy. It's quite apparent at times! Anywho, the last 36 hours or so have been terrible. I'm 11+1 (can this speed up a bit, please??!) And the feeling like crap has been relentless! Even with my last pregnancy, I never woke up in the middle of the night to throw up.. until now! Ugh. I'm so ready to be finished with the first tri. On Friday, it's DS's 3rd birthday!! I'm so worried that I'm going to feel terrible and won't be able to do much- so fingers crossed that I get at least one good day on Friday!
@amandarene112 Thanks! I suppose that's what I have then... I can't get comfortable laying down. If I lay on my left side, my left hip and tail bone pain wake me up in excruciating pain! So much for sleeping on the good side! Right side is my fav. I wonder if that will be an issue.

Also, for those with congestion or other problems that can be rough during pregnancy.. here's a list of approved meds from my doctor! Just some suggestions, I hope it helps someone.
@beccam1230 You might want to crop your picture to take out the names of your doctors, and their office number. You never know what crazies are lurking around on the interwebs.
@amandarene112 thanks!! I always crop info, but been a bit absent minded lately. Like when I left the mailbox keys in the mailbox... a nice neighbor returned them. Does pregnancy brain start this early?!

Yesterday was the first I got dizzy. I was sitting in Sunday school, but I hadn't had any water that day. And the second time was after i took the stairs to work. Again, no water. I've also had an aversion to most protein, so that's not helping out matters. Thanks for the advice, I'm going to try to start out my day by drinking a cup of water and see if that helps!
Definitely feeling much better -- more energy, much less nausea, etc. Still frequent urination but hopefully that'll get better soon, and it's not the worst symptom by any stretch. Headaches were raging but haven't really had one since last Friday. I'm a FTM so I don't know what to expect at all, but I'm feeling at least a hint of the wonders of the second tri!
Don't look pregnant yet... Just as if I've gained weight (which I have).
12 weeks tomorrow. Sore boobs PLEASE go away! My 3 year old can magically find a way to elbow me consistently and I want to cry in pain. Ugh indigestion came with a vengeance last night and all I had was tums which make me gag. On the plus side my exhaustion is getting a little better because with a 3 year old to chase around all day I need some energy back!
12+5 I can fuction like a normal human from 8:30am-3pm. Then, its fatigue, nausea, headaches, and moodiness until bedtime. I'm so ready to feel human alllll day again.
12w2d, I just stretched really good with my arms over my head and I felt this weird sensation I'm in my belly, it felt like a pop, and then kind of like when your foot goes to sleep, but in one small part of my belly. What is that and is it normal/okay?
@heatherwilson321 I've been getting that too. When I stretch I can just feel something on the left side of my belly. It's hard to describe what it feels like!
