Hi all! I'm mom to a spunky 3 year old daughter and for 18 months have been trying for baby 2. We started testing in Feb, to find I have one blocked tube. We did 3 rounds of clomid before deciding we just want this DONE. My doc agreed IVF would be a great route for us.
I saw the specialist today and he wants to do additional tests, another HSG to see if he can unblock my tube, and feels more clomid should help. I think I was overwhelmed by his medical terms and saying we don't need IVF but now that I'm home (and unable to sleep) I'm annoyed. Sure additional testing to check a few more boxes, but no. No more clomid that just makes me cranky and bloated. Not another $800 HSG test that is uncomfortable as heck. JUST take my money and go all out! Ha! Plus if we want a third, starting right at a frozen embryo sounds way better than starting this horrible process over.

it worked! I had very very early signs with my daughter though and nothing this time so I'm anxiously waiting hearing that heartbeat in 2 weeks. I'm just hanging on the IF board waiting to see others results that had IVF at the same time. I'll peek in though as we had similar diagnosis as others on here so hopefully we can help each other out
