Congrats @KellyT22 and @Goodmorning12 on your successful VBACSs!! You two are warriors, and I hope to join your ranks in the future, should I be fortunate enough to have a second baby!
@mrsflamingo i hope you get the rest you need! Try not to stress about anything outstanding on the "to do" list. The important hings will get taken care of. It sounds trite to say but I have found it to be true!
Congratulations to everyone! I'm 37 weeks today and still don't feel ready to have this baby. Plus to top it off I've been sick since last Monday. Went to urgent care yesterday and they said I have bronchitis, gave me some antibiotics and told me to rest. My mind is going crazy over the stuff I need/want to do like clean my car before the car seat goes in. I need to order more cloth diapers also but I'm trying to hold off until LO gets here to see how big/small her legs are. And I'm still not done with my lesson plans!!!
Whoops I must've been very out of sorts - I'm a FTM so no VBAC here Thanks for pointing that out I've updated that. But I did have a successful vaginal delivery of an OP (sunny side up) baby with her cord wrapped around her neck twice for good measure. It was a very long day but ended with a happy healthy baby which is all a mom can ask for.
We hit page two of our birth announcements!!! So many sweet babes and amazing stories! I can't wait to add mine to the post. Congratulations @MrsFlemingo@shines721@liepertsm@loveyoga7@ShaunaT25 and I know there's someone else I am forgetting haha. Your babies are breathtaking and you are amazing. I know a couple ladies are overdue but most of us are still waiting! Just two and a half weeks for me. Yikes!!!
I'm all checked in for my induction. Now that things are finally getting started I'm getting less nervous and more excited. I can't wait for her to be here! But holy crap these hospital beds are so uncomfortable!
Congratulations to all of the new mamas! My postpartum brain can't remember all of the usernames.. but I love reading the ways these babies enter the world and their names.
For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. 1 Samuel 1:27 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I also progressed very quickly with the Nubaine after staying relatively still for several hours. Not sure if it was the drug but it at least allowed me to save some energy for the marathon that was to come.
Currently at the hospital. Contractions started at 2:30 in the morning, timed them, 6-7 minutes apart, because I am GBS positive, they wanted me there early to get on antiboditics. Get to the hospital, water breaks when waiting at the welcome centre, now just in the birthing room and waiting - wish me luck!
Noticed some leaking after my cervical check today and figured it was the gel. But after I got up to or and was walking walking had a pretty big gush that went through the liner and my undies. No regular contractions and I'm only at 1-1.5 so I'm getting pitocin at 4am. Surprisingly I'm not freaking out yet, let's hope it stays this way!
