Hello everybody!
My husband (32) and I (33) have been TTC for 16 cycles now, and I'm beginning to struggle with my optimism!
We had a loss (6 weeks in) on our first cycle - then nada since. I did have a very strange cycle (the 13th) where I woke with extreme cramps, fainting & my cervix dropping (DH almost called an ambulance), followed by heavy AF... but we were on vacation and couldn't take any tests to see if it was anything significant. Doc thinks it was nothing.
I was temping, but have decided to give it up - I can't deal with the daily reminder. I have been using ovulation predictor POAS, but this month I am switching to the Clearblue Advanced Fertility Monitor (although, only because I bought it before joining this board and reading that it sucks!).
I have now had an HSG (tubes all clear), ongoing monthly CD21 blood tests (ovulating normally so far), and an ultrasound (almost-PCOS but not quite enough follicles... 2 siblings have PCOS, but I do not share any of the obvious symptoms).
DH has had an SA that was on the low end of normal, and only 2% normal morphology (normal being 4%). Our specialist does not think that the morphology should be an issue for natural conception... thoughts?
I come from a family of 7 siblings and extended family that seem to get KTFU if they wink at each other - whilst my close sisters are understanding, my parents and extended family do not get it. I tried to explain that we have fertility issues, and they just keep on at it. Although it seems like many couples fight that battle!
Tonight I start my 1st 8 day course of Letrozole (CD2-9)... here's hoping the only side effect I get are hot flushes cause it's bloody freezing out this week!

I've never temped - I can't bring myself to do that and all the POAS. I actually wrote the post about how much I hate the Clearblue Advanced Fertility Monitor, but this cycle I'm liking it better. I ignore the instructions and use my second morning urine instead, so I only test after about 10am, which is what my RE instructed. I programmed the monitor testing window to be later in the day, and since doing that I've had some positives for LH.
Good luck with the letrozole!
I don't know about morphology but I've heard that some research suggests it's not a huge factor. That's something I'd discuss with a urologist who specializes in fertility, though. We're his total sperm and motile counts on the low side of normal, too?

IUI #3 Feb 24 2018, IUI + 7 days Clomid + HCG Trigger Shot. Feb 24 IUI. 3/12 BFN
*TW* 5/10/18 BFP/MC. Natural Cycle. 1st Beta 232, 2nd 850. No Fetal pole seen on U/S, 5/30/18. Medicated MC on 6/23.
IVF #1, Stims begin on August 17th. ER, 8/28/18. 32 Eggs Retrieved, 18 mature, 18 Fertilized. 12 Day 5. 6 Blasts Tested Normal with CCS.
FET 1, 11/6/19. 1 Embryo Transferred. NEG BETA 11/15
FET 2, 1/29. 1 Embryo to Transfer. +HPT 2/5. Beta 2/7 = 137, 2nd HCG = 317. MC at 6w4d. No fetal pole seen on U/S
I totally understand the family thing - I have 10 nieces and nephews, plus 5 great nieces and nephews. The entire rest of my family seems to be popping out kids every other week.
