1. 17 weeks

2. Pomegranate

3. Nope.

4. Pain in my hips and legs

5. I'm picking up my order of girl scout cookies today and my sister is due with my nephew any day now

6. Spring. Temperatures in the 70s, flowers blooming. I always get into a funk in the winter and spring makes it so much better.

1. How far along are you? 18wks!

2. How big is baby? Artichoke/ Sugar Glider/ Size of Gauc

3. Any upcoming appointments this week? Cardiologist- congenital heart defect= Echo for me and at 22wks, echo for baby. What fun.

4. Any new symptoms? Stomach muscles are starting to feel a little tight end of day. Belly Butter x10!!

5. Rants/ Raves/ Questions? Switched to maternity clothes this week- totally rockin' the bump now, not just the 'is she isn't she' bulky sweaters.

6. GTKY: What's your favorite season and why? Fall! While I love the HOT of summer, Fall in Chicago is usually still warm, pretty colors, hoodie weather.

2. How big is baby? size of a little avocado - yum!

3. Any upcoming appointments this week? nope - not for another 2 weeks

4. Any new symptoms? just sharp stretching pain in my belly if i lay on my side without support... also feeling the hip pain. really messes with my sleep at night

5. Rants/ Raves/ Questions? the hip pain. wtf.

6. GTKY: What's your favorite season and why? i think i love the idea of all "seasons" probably because i live in southern california and we normally don't experience them too much... haha. but i love our spring-summer-fall (ie, warm and sunny) for the amazing weather, and then fall-winter for cozy holiday family time

3. Any upcoming appointments this week? Not with my OB but I scheduled an elective gender scan next week

4. Any new symptoms? Insomnia

5. Rants/ Raves/ Questions? I freaking hate insomnia. I've gotten it with each of my pregnancies but this one started much earlier than the other two

6. GTKY: What's your favorite season and why? Summer because I love warm weather, going to the beach, outdoor activities, the sun setting later in the day, etc. I truly love summer.

@bumpybump I have a congenital heart defect. Impact is very minimal but they want an echo for me to ensure the pregnancy isn't adding too much stress or causing any changes. Echo for baby since it is congenital. Want to know how she looks, and be prepared if we see anything. Could impact treatment or want to plan her arrival, or see something major, or nothing. I'll be glad to have results but it always adds a bit of nerves.

@smallbutmighty77 I'm glad they're being proactive and checking it all out. Hopefully just routine and nothing more. I have a good friend who's first born had a CHD and is pregnant now (due any day). They've been checking the Baby throughout the pregnancy. Such a scary situation.

3. GI follow-up (not related to pregnancy though)

4. Seemed to happen overnight that I have to pee all the freakin time now! Even though I don't really have a bump yet (unless bloat bump counts). Also nauseas been coming back a bit (boooo) and the evening bloats/gas are now afternoon/evening bloats & gas

5. Just annoyed at the constant bloat pains and pee urges at the moment (and not looking forward to the fact the gotta pee feeling will only get worse I hear!)

6. Summer since our summers here in Alberta are so short we don't really get a true spring/fall like most places.

4. Any new symptoms? More Muscle pains if I move/twist too quickly

5. Rants/ Raves/ Questions?

6. GTKY: What's your favorite season and why? Fall, especially early fall. They are pretty mild here, the scenery is beautiful, love boots and scarfs. And Halloween activities and Thanksgiving are may favorites!
