Crittenton or Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland (Pontiac) + Pediatrician Recommendation?

So my wife and I are expecting our first child. We are due in September and our OBGYN (Dr. Amy Wright) delivers out of Crittenton in Rochester and Saint Joseph Mercy Oakland (Pontiac). Was wondering what people's thoughts and recommendations were?

 We have only had experiences with Beaumont in Troy since we moved back to the areas. I grew up and love UofM as my mom was an RN there so that is where I get my baseline expectations from.

 We are leaving towards Crittenton because of it being smaller and think it would be a better experience. Believe they both have a NICU in case there is any problems.

But was wondering if anyone has had experiences at either. 

We are from Clarkston and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for pediatrician and also maybe a family doctor for us?

    I had my most recent baby at SJMO after moving to MI and it was great! I moved from chicago where I had my other two, and I was at Prentice there, and I saw no difference in the care I received between the two hospitals, and Prentice is a nationally renowned hospital. I had a great experience with the L&D nurses and staff at SJMO. My baby had to go to the NICU (she's doing fine now) and I know SJMO's has the highest level NICU you can have (lelvel III). Crittenton might have that too, I'm just not sure, but it's a great thing to have just in case! Good luck.

    I delivered 2 babies at St Joe's. One in 2011 and one in 2012. I will deliver there again in July. It's a great hospital! My second child had to spend some time in the NICU too. I highly recommend this hospital. Good luck!!
