Any new symptoms or changes? I think my uti is clearing up, it doesn't hurt to pee anymore. SPD is definitely getting worse, still waiting on my wraps from MM. I accidentally shipped hem to my grandmothers in LA and she had to ship them to me. I used her address when I bought stuff since we lived out in the swamps, it took an extra day to be delivered, even though it was maybe 10 miles down the road.
Rants/Raves/Questions? the maintenance guys never came to fix the water leak yesterday but just showed up. It makes me stabby how they don't care.

Did anyone celebrate Mardi Gras? What did you do? Is anyone celebrating Lent? What are you giving up? Any activities planned? we had crawfish on Saturday for Mardi Gras, its my second fav holiday. We didn't do anything yesterday or Monday for Lundi Gras, bc not to many places in Texas celebrate it. I'm still working on what I'm giving up, since I'm staying home now I want to get up and get dressed at a decent time. I got very depressed before when I was a SAHM, I never wore makeup and always looked like I rolled out of bed, I just don't like my kids seeing me like that. A friend told me a few activities to do with the kids regarding grass seeds, if you plant it now it should be grown by Easter. I haven't decided what activities to do with them yet. I need to get on that.

Any new symptoms or changes? I've started to feel pressure when I move into certain positions. It's pretty fleeting and not uncomfortable per se, just a new thing. Other than that, I'm just trying to soak up all the movement. I can't wait for DH to be able to feel it as well.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I found a new go-to drink indulgence! I love La Croix but it was starting to get boring. Anyway, my friend introduced me to Topo Chico (sp?)-- a Mexican made mineral water. I prefer the lime variety. It's absolutely delicious!

Did anyone celebrate Mardi Gras? What did you do? Is anyone celebrating Lent? What are you giving up? Any activities planned? We live in Nola, so celebrating Mardi Gras is in our blood. Most people don't know that Mardi Gras is a month long family event and NOT what you see commonly portrayed on TV. (Ie- prepared to get some serious side-eye if you flash for beads anywhere but Bourbon Street on Fat Tuesday.) I had off work Monday (Lundi Gras) as well as yesterday, Fat Tuesday. We spent the last five days going to parades, eating, drinking beverage of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety, and spending time with friends.
Eta: I guess I didn't read your last sentence, of course you went to parades!

Any upcoming appointments this week? Regular appointment Friday. Had to schedule with a midwife because my doctor is out this week. DH is 'anti-nonOB' and asked why we are seeing a 'witch doctor'. He's obviously joking, but he is a weirdo.
Any new symptoms or changes? Not really.
Rants/Raves/Questions? My shipment of clothes from Carters arrived yesterday and I am obsessed. Baby girl clothes are too stinking cute.

Any new symptoms or changes? SPD is the worst! @MrsLa3 I totally feel your pain. Last week, my OB ordered me to adopt a modified schedule that has me working from home 2 days a week. My office has no elevator so it's nice to get a break from all the stairs, but the pain is still awful. Especially at night.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I'm still waiting on those sexy pregnancy dreams everyone was raving about. Mine are just plain weird.

My family is Creole, so even though we live in CA, Mardi Gras is still a celebration. I had crawfish tails and boudin shipped in from Lafayette, LA and made a big pot of Jambalaya. I've been doing okay without alcohol, but I sure did miss my hurricane last night.

Any new symptoms or changes? Less nausea by a lot. Nothing else. More and more baby movements

I meant to make beignets but I ended up not feeling that great Tuesday night, so that didn't happen lol. Have never really done the whole Lent thing. The Christianity I grew up in didn't really do Lent, I half did it in high school cause all my friends were, and now I'm not religious at all, and pregnant lol, so I'm not doing anything this year. I normally do New Years Resolutions, but I felt like having my first baby was enough of a challenge this year. Same thing for Lent.

Any new symptoms or changes? Yes my hips are doing crazy things and so sometimes I can't stand up straight. I'm also sweatier than usual.
