Re: Monday Ticker Change 2/27
1. 33 wks.
2. pineapple.
3. pink.
4. weekly appt 3/2. I was moved to weekly appts early b/c of my L&D trip last week for BH every 10 min while at rest for several hours. Chiro appt today (and all Mondays until I give birth).
5. Headaches over the weekend. BH frequently still.
6. Rant: DH was in a horrid mood all weekend and was just terrible to be around! He needs to snap out of it.
7. I went through all of the clothes in NB and 0-3 sizes to take inventory and see what we had. We have plenty. I plan to start washing it this week. I purchased the crib mattress (DD2 uses the other one still in her toddler bed) and monitor, both with coupons. DH made an appt this week to get the nursery rug cleaned by a green carpet cleaning company.
8. My mom is coming into town 4/5 and staying several weeks. She will stay with my girls when it's time to have the baby. I hope she is helpful when she is here. She has a lot of friends locally so in the past she often is gone almost all the time in social events which is decidedly not helpful to me at all.
DH takes off 2 weeks after each birth.

1. How far along are you? 33 weeks
2. How big is baby? 4.5 pounds ish. Loaf of bread size.
3. Team pink, blue or green? Pink--Lucy something. If DH doesn't give me some ideas though then I'm just going with Lucy Mariah and he can name the next kid lol.
4. Appts this week? Off week. Hoping to get my hair done.
5. Symptoms? I just have constant reflux. It's so painful. She seems to have shifted onto my bladder because I'm peeing every thirty minutes or less. But also, it's because I'm drinking a ton of water because I have so many BH contractions. My belly is so stretched and tight in the mornings from not drinking water during the night. Her movements are all over today and she's had hiccups once a day every day for like a week. It's cute.
6. Rants/Raves? Like you @MWoodside I'm sick of my DH's attitude. I've mentioned it before and how he's most likely just not processing his fear of impending fatherhood well, but I'm just so tired of doing everything alone, while also working and taking care of the house and all of the prep and the little he has to do he does with a horrible attitude and is cranky the whole time. I'm trying to be understanding but he needs to get it together to be ready to support me because I'm the one that has to push her out and survive possible/probable PPD and leave the job I love to stay home with her. Ugh! Needed to rant.
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Ordered bassinet and breast pump which will arrive this week. Assembled the stroller and car seat. Sorted baby shower clothes into sizes. The nursery walls and trim are primed. They need another coat and then will be ready for the paint which we also bought this week. The ceiling fan is installed. Hoping the walls will be done this week we can put together the crib soon and buy a dresser. Though we can't do it this weekend because we will be out of town for my family shower. Also, I bought hospital bag toiletries and supplies though I haven't packed the bag yet.
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? Mom will stay for a couple of days. But I don't know if she'll be able to stay beyond our hospital stay and come home with us because she works. But I'm hoping to ask my MIL, who doesn't work, if she can come for a few days after that just to help us get things together at home and make some meals for us. She loves to cook for people so I think she would be happy to. But on that note I'm reminded I need to prep the guest room soon.
DH will take two weeks off.
How far along are you? 33 weeks
2. How big is baby? Celery per the bump...
3. Team pink, blue or green? Pink - Hailey Grace
4. Appts this week? 2 this week - NST in about an hour and ultrasound on Thursday.
5. Symptoms? None really... hip pain at night but that's pretty expected at this point.
6. Rants/Raves? So happy DH is home this week. After him traveling for 2 weeks, mama needed a toddler break. DS is in that testing phase and I'm flat out of patience
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? We washed bottles (in case we do that again rather than exclusively breastfeeding) and reorganized the kitchen to fit everything better. I need to pack my hospital bag since the dr said baby girl could come earlier... haha that was a wake up call! Also hoping to order the name decor for above her crib this week and really look through her clothes to see if we need to fill in anywhere with some new pieces (we got lots of handy me downs from my brother).
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? DH will take 2 weeks off and I'm sure we'll have lots of visitors. No one else staying with us though - our choice. We just function much better when we can just tag team it rather than having someone else involved. I know my mom will come a few times a week initially to clean/cook/laundry. She spoils me and I love it - haha. Plus my dad will come take DS out for some time alone on the first few weekends - which will be an amazing break I'm sure.
2. How big is baby?: A squash
3. Team pink, blue or green?: Pink
4. Appts this week?: I need to go and get additional blood work to test for bile in my blood. This past week I've had rashes/small flesh colored bumps sprouting up on my palms, arms and feet and my dr is concerned it could be Cholestasis. I'm hoping it's just pupps
5. Symptoms?: itchy, achy, exhausted
6. Rants/Raves?: Rave: I received a letter from my ob office informing me that starting April 1st, they're going to have delivery privileges at the hospital I really really want to give birth at! Its closer to home and work, and has a way better NICU so I'm really stoked that I made the cutoff to deliver there!
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby?: DH and I went to birthing class on Saturday!
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? I'm pretty sure I'll have some friends &a family come visit once I'm home and help out. DH is also going to take a week off from work so we can enjoy some time together as a family and adjust to parenthood
2. How big is baby? Butternut Squash
3. Team pink, blue or green? Pink
4. Appts this week? Appt this morning with a midwife, instead of my OB who is out of town this week. I really have liked the midwives I've seen, and asked if we can have a midwife deliver the baby if my OB isn't available.
5. Symptoms? Upper back pain ( my ribs are spreading and it makes it hard to sleep)
6. Rants/Raves? I didn't gain any weight in the past 2 weeks although I've been trying - they're sending me for an ultrasound next week. I'm also anemic, and the numbers haven't risenwell enough with the iron pills so I have a hematology appt next week.
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Child birth education class on Saturday
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? My husband will take some time off, and work from home.
1. How far along are you? 32 Weeks (looks weird seeing that number this week for some reason)
2. How big is baby? Squash I guess, I've stopped getting excited about these comparisons because they seem to be so random
3. Team pink, blue or green? Blue-still no name
4. Appts this week? None this week
5. Symptoms? Heartburn/indigestion, I also feel like I am having trouble being able to take a deep breathe.
6. Rants/Raves? Last week I talked about how much energy I felt, now I feel like I have officially hit third trimester, I am exhausted, uncomfortable, and I feel huge
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? A lot actually! Got stuff that was left on our BRU registry, set up the nursery more/our room
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? Mother in law is coming for a while (not by my choice) and my husband is only going to take off a day but he can work from home two days a week, so its not that bad.

7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? We pulled everything out. I washed all of the covers so the carseat, swing, bouncy seat, PNP and tummy time mats are ready to go. We're reconfiguring the car to ad in the third carseat. Yikes! This weekend I'll wash the sheets and maybe some clothes.
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? My parents will be around. My husband works from home. He'll take time off when the baby is born. I will work work summer school for 18 days in July. He'll take some paternity leave then.
1. How far along are you? - 33+1 today. grow baby grow!
2. How big is baby? He was 1920grams last wednesday so I think over 2 kilos! (celery?)
3. Team pink, blue or green? blue
4. Appts this week? i had a NST yesterday (all good), and seeing my obgym and the midwife on wednesday.
5. Symptoms? Crazy BHs every time I stand, especially in the evening. Bad gas baby started pushing up my lungs too so out of breath a lot.
6. Rants/Raves?
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Finished decorating the nursery with my sister!! Also bought a few more essentials.
8. Is anyone (family, friend, etc) coming to help you when baby arrives? Does your partner plan to take time off work? My husband will stay home for a week, my mum will join us when we get home from the hospital and stay for covering another week after my husband goes back to work. Then she goes home (sadly she still works, so she is taking an emergency holiday when baby comes ) and then husband will take another week, so I will have three weeks not on my own. After that, I might ask my MIL to come for a while. Then in May, my dad will come for two whole weeks to look after me (DH goes to a wedding abroad for a few days). So I should be set for April and May more or less I think.
My DH: French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever.

3. Team pink, blue or green? blue!
4. Appts this week? scheduled yes, but hospital admittance changed my every day to an appt
5. Symptoms? can I just say "everything"
6. Rants/Raves? If you've read the FB page you know a plethora of it!
7. What did you accomplish this week to prepare for baby? Well after the first baby is coming scare on Friday, I got the hospital bag ready which was good because I now need it. And the carseat is in the car. On Saturday night I ordered a few missing things and those have been arriving this week.

@M&Max as of now, plan is still Monday. I was supposed to see my Dr at the end of his shift today, but I didn't. The anesthesiologist came in for a consult while I was in the middle of a breathing treatment and told me to shake my head yes or no and not to talk because the treatment was important. He asked me if I feel better today then yesterday, have I ever had surgery before, and is this my first pregnancy. Then walked out...so who knows lol. He was in a big hurry, checking his watch and responding on his work phone while asking me. He was coming to see me in regards to possibly going earlier and could my body handle it. Monday the plan is vaginal but everyone has to be on the same page with all my complications to make sure the all know my history in case of c section.

@smallanimal How long do your BH last when you stand up? I have been getting a tight feeling when I stand up but it usually goes away after about 30 seconds so I thought it might be RLP.
