    1 - hello!  not new - I had a CP end of December 2016

    2 - TWW currently 9 DPO

3 - I don't really have any rants at the moment.  I'll be doing my business taxes this week and send them off to my CPA to finish with DHs.  Really exciting I know.

4 - I think the only non cartoon movie I had seen was Manchester by the Sea on video and it was uber depressing so I didn't care for it too much.  I think pretty much everyone has seen all the movies except me lol.  I am interested in LaLa Land.  Any thoughts on that one?

  • 1. Not new at all. MMC in March 2016 and August 2016.

    2.) CD 12 ish - I think. Should O this weekend.

3.)  No rants right now - Ill take it.
Raves would be the weather has been nice lately and Ive been Keeping busy with house hunting and the puppy. Puppy starts puppy preschool tmrw and has her first playdate on Thursday with my bff and her 2 dogs.

4.) Movies I haven't seen that everyone else has are a lot of boy movies, lol. I've never seen any of the Transformers or Fast & Furious movies.

@vlagrl29 - Loved LaLa Land - as someone who is into music Im sure you would love it too!

  • 1.  Not new.  MC in August 2016.

    2.  TWW.  9DPO

    3.  Saw my family this weekend.  Niece had her gender reveal party which was difficult for me to attend but I didn't want to regret not going later.  I sat with my aunt who feels the same way I do about my niece's pregnancy( she is 22 and very much not an adult).  So I was in the right company as we complained about the situation. I needed someone to commiserate with

    4.  I can't recall the last movie I saw so probably most people have seen that I have not. Same way with TV. Not much of a TV person. Although I love "this is us"

    1. Not new. MC#1 Dec 2015. MC#2 Apr 2016. Benched 7 months for testing and emotional health. Now on cycle 4 TTCA2L.

    2. 4 DPO, CD21. Just biding my time before SS can start. I'm already planning all the things I'll do when it's another BFN. Damn, I need to be more positive.

    3. Rant: still dealing with anxiety/heart palpitations, but at least I've been able to sleep. Another rant is our pup had an accident in the middle of the night. H didn't give him a long enough walk last night before bed, and so he really had to go at 4AM, but neither of us heard him whining until he was whining to get up on the bed after his accident. No real raves this week... Still too sleepy to think of any!

    4. We almost never see any of the Oscar nominated films. I'm not big on depressing, self-important movies. H likes them more, but the place we overlap tastes is Marvel films and animated films. The only winning movie we saw was Zootopia.... Lol. And I guess Fantastic Beasts won some technical awards. We saw that too. TV series-wise, it seems like everyone and his brother has watched Game of Thrones, and we just have no interest.
  • @TScalei  that's so cute about your puppy.  I wish the puppy good luck at preschool - that's a huge step.

  • Hey! Been AWOL a few days traveling, good to be back and even see some good news in TWW...
    1. Not new. 7 month bench after MC, cycle 7 TTCAL.
    2. WTO, CD 4. AF came in the middle of a funeral hee hee.
    3. Just got back from NY, I'm SO happy DH was able to come and meet a bunch of my family he hasn't yet, he got a little bonding time in with my dad, etc. I only had one person (my cousin) ask about kids and he didn't believe me when I said I had a thyroid condition....."no, really....we've already lost one because of it." That shuts people up real fast. I know he wasn't being really nosy, but there are just no f--ks given any more. I might not blast it on Facebook, but I don't mind telling people straight to their face I've had a MC.
    4. I don't even know what was nominated except Moonlight and LaLaLand....so out of that loop. Though we might see Moonlight when it comes out on Amazon Prime.

  • @Mack2342 - Going to your niece's gender reveal must have been tough - glad you had someone to commiserate with. It just seems that the people not ready for kids have no problems getting pg.
@Riversong15 - glad your anxiety is getting a little better. I try to find ways to soften the blow of AF too - you have to look out for yourself. Fx that this is your cycle!
@amberruka - Good for your for speaking up about your loss. I feel like if you are going to ask a personal ques you have to be prepared for a personal answer. Glad DH could come with you to the funeral but sorry AF came in the middle of everything.
  • 1.) Intro/ Re Intro: natural MC 12/25/16 at 9w2d

2.) Status: waiting for af! CD 30 today while my pre MC normal was 26 days, so who knows when I'll start (first cycle post MC was 35 days). But when I do start, I'm no longer benched! Not sure if we'll start ttc or put it off a few more months.

3.: Rants/Raves: I've been working on my health (exercise, diet, etc) and this week I feel like I'm totally on it! I have my babysitter worked out for going to the gym and DH bbq'ed enough chicken for me to take for lunch every day with a salad. It's going to be a great week!

4.) In honor of the Oscars last night whats a movie/ series of movies that EVERYONE has seen but you.... Um, everything these days. I haven't watched a movie in forever!
  • @Mack2342  That is so rough.  What did we say last week?  Those who shouldn't be parents are the most fertile?  Glad that you had someone to bond with though.

@amberruka  Good for you!  You are absolutely right.  If people want to just get personal and ask personal questions then be prepared to get the truth. Truth ain't always pretty folks.

@RiverSong15  Glad to hear that you are getting some relief and are able to sleep.  I tend to think negatively as well.  I think it's so if it is a BFN it doesn't sting as much.

@TScalei  Puppy preschool?  How cute.  My puppy went to kindergarten and grad school.  So misbehaved still.

    @pumpkin0913  Hope AF comes soon.

Intro/ Re Intro:  Not new.  MMC 10/2016

2.) Status: CD13 WTO  Hopefully in the next couple of days.  Haven't turned any OPKs yet though.  I always get paranoid when it is close to O that I won't and will have an anovulatory cycle.  Paranoia is my thing.

3.: Rants/Raves:  First day back to work after a lovely Feb vacation.  Even lovelier that we had wonderful weather.  Working at the clinic today so it is a super long Monday.

4.) In honor of the Oscars last night whats a movie/ series of movies that EVERYONE has seen but you....  Just about everything!  DH and I aren't big on going to the movies.  At best we will catch something on TV.

  • @TScalei so cute that your puppy is going to preschool... and playdates too, what a lucky little pup

@Mack2342 sorry you had to go to your niece's gender reveal. Glad to hear you had someone there who felt the same way though.

@RiverSong15 glad to hear you've been able to get some sleep. Not fun about your puppy... that stage is hard!

@amberruka so nice that you go to spend some time with your family and DH got to get to know them better. Good on you for being straight up when people get personal... sometimes people just have no idea how insensitive they can be (without knowing it) but when you're straight up like that at least you won't get that question again.

@pumpkin0913 well done getting a babysitter arranged so you can go to the gym, and those salads sound very healthy!

    @SP128 ugh... long Mondays suck!

@SoonToBeMommaHowe best of luck to you.

Intro: Miscarriage at 12 weeks in December 2016.

Status:Waiting to ovulate... should be in the next couple of days, as I've had lots of EWCM.

Rant: The last week I have barely been able to sleep... waking up with night sweats and nightmares. They got progressively worse as the week went on, but last night I finally got a full night sleep without waking up once! So I suppose it's a rant/rave.

GTKY: I have no tv and don't go to the movies so I only watch Netflix... over here in New Zealand they are not up to date at all, so I mainly watch all the older seasons of currently running shows.
  • @SoontoBeMamaHowe Good luck. Hope you get your BFP soon.

  • @vlagrl29 I've heard Manchester by the Sea was depressing, which is why I haven't watched it. Lol. I haven't seen Lala land, either. H and I are boring.

@TScalei Ahhhh!!!! Puppy preschool is always fun. So many adorable fluff balls running around. Have fun!

@Mack2342 I'm sorry about that baby shower. That had to be tough. Im glad you had someone to commiserate with, though.

@amberruka I'm sorry for your loss, but I'm glad your DH could go with you to NY.

@pumpkin0913 I hope AF hurries up!

@SP128 FX for a positive OPK soon!

@SoontobeMommaHowe I'll definitely miss you on this board, but I totally understand the need to find the board that fits best for you. No guilt or shame in that! And I'm so glad my suggestion was able to shorten your bench time. I'm hoping so hard that you get your rainbow soon <3

@perfectypo I hope your nightmares end soon.
  • @SoonToBeMommaHowe  I wish you the best of luck and I hope that you get plenty of support on the if board. We will definitely miss you around here
  • @Perfectypo  I'm sorry to hear about your difficulty with sleeping and nightmares.  Hope it lets up soon.  This whole process is just rough on so many levels.

  • I'm sorry I haven't been around much, guys. I've been having a tough time emotionally and hormonally. I had my MFM appointment today and will be getting CD3 testing along with chromosome testing with DH since we have a nephew with a translocation. He said yes to everything I asked my OB to do and rejected. That confirmed to me that I need a new OB. In the meantime he is sending a request for me to be seen for HCG and progesterone immediately following a BFP and also requested for fetal tissue to be tested if I have another MC (and said they could have this time). I also have to repeat my RLP in two weeks.

...hoping for some BFPs from you ladies soon!!

  • @NYtino24 - Im sorry you have been going through a tough time. Glad you are getting a new OB - an understanding and supportive doctor makes a huge difference. Hopefully you will get some answer and a BFP soon!
  • I've been MIA for a few days.  This period is seriously the worst I have ever had...huge clots for 3 days, migraines, and I have wanted to scream at anyone that even looks at me.  This is my first period after the CP and I was warned it could be bad but I had no idea. I've been watching project runway and eating stacy's cinnamon and sugar pita chips for days.  The heaviness is starting to subside.  I am glad we decided to postpone or weekend trip.  Thank goodness for junk food and On Demand.
  • wow! @justsuzie - I'm feeling very thankful for my periods - the one after my CP barely had cramps.  Hope this time passes quickly.

  • @vlagrl29 Thanks.  Someone on the loss board mentioned her first AF was horrendous. And it's a good thing or else I would have jumped to the worst conclusion on my own and from Dr. Google.
  • 1.) I'm new, after lurking sporadically. Miscarriage at almost 6 weeks in Nov. 2016. I also don't have any close friends or family members who have been through it. And I live in Paris, far from just about everyone I know.

2.) Status: CD4. I was so happy to get AF a few days ago. Every cycle since the MC has been a few days longer than the previous one which keeps throwing me off.

3.: Rants/Raves: I woke up this morning to a message and sonogram pic from our good friends. I'm obviously happy for them, but it really put me in a teary funk this morning.

4.) We watched Moonlight Sunday night Paris time, before the Oscars aired. But we still haven't seen La La Land... hopefully we'll see it this weekend in the theatre!

Looking forward to not being a lurker anymore. =)
  • @justsuzie That was me. My first AFAL was so bad I almost ended up in the hospital! I hope yours gets better fast.

  • @NYTino24 I hope you are able to find a new OB. Glad that at last they listened at your MFM appointment, and hopefully things go well from here on our. So sorry you've been having a rough time.

@justsuzie your period sounds aweful! Hope you feel better soon and sounds like postponing your trip was definitely the right thing.

@wmartnz7  welcome. So sorry for your loss, hopefully your stay here is not long. I live in New Zealand so I know the feeling of being far away from family and friends. It can be quite hard sometimes.
