Upcoming appointments this week? nope nothing until my A/S which is in 2 weeks.
Any new symptoms or changes? back pain has subsided a bit thanks to my prenatal chiropractor and acupuncturist thankfully. Will definitely keep that up! And officially don't fit into some of my jeans now. Did some good maternity clothes shopping this past weekend. Much needed!
Rants/Raves/Questions? boy has this boy been picking up the kicks! Just now while typing I felt at least 6 or 7 in a row - externally too! He definitely perks up when I'm laying down / relaxing...:whixh hopefully I'll be doing a lot of while on vacation this week!!! Woohoo!!!
GTKY: Best book or series you are currently reading or have recently read and why. Funny I'm part of a book club but have been a total failure recently since my mind is so wound up with work and baby. Does "What to Expect When You're Expecting" count? Lol. Last book I read was "Girl on a Train". It was pretty good.

Any new symptoms or changes? Back hip and sciatica pain. Ugh

GTKY: Best book or series you are currently reading or have recently read and why. Currently This Man trilogy by Jodi Ellen Malpas for the fourth time. I just really love this set. It's a contemporary romantic and I don't have to think about anything while reading. The author really has a way with words that draws you in.

Any new symptoms or changes? some stretching pains and itching on the stomach but no stretch marks yet. Hoping to get off like last pregnancy on that arena. But had a 13 hour day shooting a wedding Saturday and my pelvis hurt so bad by the end I was hobbling. May need a brace soon for them.
Rants/Raves/Questions? DH felt kicks on the outside Sunday! I was feeling small ones so I told
him to come over and try so he puts his freezing cold hand on my stomach and the baby goes "wham" and hits the hardest yet against his hand and starts trying to kick and roll away from it
GTKY: I finished Wild not too long ago the ventured back to some Nalini Singh paranormal romance and now I speed read a stupid YA dystopian romance The Selection. so nothing too sophisticated!

Vacation is amazing! Love SF and we've had a great time today visiting Alcatraz. Thursday we're headed to a really nice looking resort in half moon bay.

Had an appointment yesterday. Uterus at my belly button. They took blood for spina bifida screening. AS set for the 10th so 10 more days!
Any new symptoms or changes?
Also have wayyyy increased movement. I wasn't feeling anything for the looongest and then when it started I went days without feeling a thing. Today, she's been nonstop moving like all day!

Endive sized. A/S scan was monday and they said 10oz.
Upcoming appointments this week?
Just had my a/s and appointment on Monday. It went well, baby looks great. However, my cervix has already shortened, and because I'm already having contractions I'm getting some progesterone treatment to hopefully lengthen the cervix, or at least keep it where it's at.
My husband came to the appointment (the only one he's been to), and my OB described at length with very clinical terms as to why we cannot have sex because of the shortened cervix and PTL. It was almost comical, I had to keep myself from laughing.
Any new symptoms or changes?
No new symptoms, though I expect to have some side effects from the progesterone treatments soon.

Rant- the progesterone I was rx'ed is $400 (after insurance) for two weeks worth. HOLY SHI!I!IT. And I'm supposed to be on it for 16+weeks.

I am slowly finishing the Outlander series, I'm on the last book- but I'm reading it very slowly compared to the rest of the series that I flew through.

im currently not reading anything. One of my all time favourites would be the book of negros. I had to start it aboutn4 times before I got glued, but as soon as I did I couldn't put it down!

Rants/Raves/Questions? We have changed our mind about being Team Green. My sister in law is thrilled and is throwing us a gender reveal party tomorrow night. I am so excited/anxious to find out! It is a fiesta theme. Since there are going to be so many kids there (12 between the ages of 4 months and 12 years), she planned a pinata for the kids to hit. The candy inside is either all pink or all blue.

Recently read the new Jodi Piccoult book Small Great Things. It was so good! Read it in 2 days. Not her typical story either which was nice.
