Sharing a bedroom

I was wondering if anyone has had success having a boy and girl share a room. I have a 2 1\2 yr old girl and an almost 6 year old boy and I'm thinking of having hhem share a room. Any thoughts?

    I think it just depends on your children personalities. Do they get along? Or fight over toys etc. I think it can work but also how are their sleep schedules? I personally wouldn't have my son and daughter share a room especially with those current ages but if it was a must then you make it work.

    My husband and his sister shared a room, but they were only 18 months apart. I wouldn't have a boy and a girl so far apart in age share unless it was necessary.

    My brother (7 years younger) and sister (11 years younger) and I all shared a room for a while. It wasn't *too* bad.
