I wasn't entirely sure which thread this should be put under. (Stupid questions, perhaps?) But I came across an article on TB today talking about pregnancy skin issues and how salicylic acid is a big no no during pregnancy. I've never heard of this before and both my cleanser and toner contain about 2% of salicylic acid.
I try not to be too Google happy because I end up scaring myself but I read something about possible birth defects and of course I'm all paranoid now.
Has anyone else heard of this or know of what the main concern is? Anyone else currently using SA products that were okayed by your doctor?
I plan on talking to my obgyn next week to get their input regarding this matter.
