Talk to me about counts...

Normally, we're given one number for sperm count, I've never actually asked if it was pre or post wash. Today they told us both but I'm super confused - precwash was 54 million and post wash was "over 100mil" - what are they doing during prep that doubled it?!

    Was it count per mL? The sperm is concentrated during the wash so you could have a higher count simply because the sperm is in a smaller volume.
