Friday Ticker Change 2/24

Hope it's okay that I started this :)

It's that time of the week for a Friday Ticker Change for all those mommas with March 3, 10, 17, 24, and 31 due dates!! As promised, the questions have been altered slightly to include those who have already delivered so we could get updates on you and your LO(s)! 

How far along are you/How old is baby? 

Any "special" moments with baby this week?

Any interesting developments (for you or baby)?

    Any "special" moments with baby this week? Got to see baby have hiccups on the ultrasound this week. So cute.

    Any interesting developments (for you or baby)? I'm basically being treated for late term gestational diabetes. I opted not to do the 3 hour glucose test (again...passed the first time). So now I get to monitor my blood sugar and eat less carbs. My OB didn't think any treatment was necessary, but what a pain in the ass!

    Tell us how you REALLY feel. What has been the best and hardest things about pregnancy or birth for you? For me it's been really hard to feel so worn and uncomfortable all the time. I miss out on playing with DS...I want to be able to get down on the floor with him or carry him, but I just can't. The best thing has been being pregnant over the winter. Summer pregnancies are brutal in comparison.  

    GTKY: Do you have baby's name picked out? Why did/will you choose that name? Team Green but...girl would be Josephine Audrey (Audrey after my mom, Josephine because I like it). For boy we're undecided but John (Johnny...we started calling baby Johnny when it was the size of an apple seed) or James (just like it) are frontrunners. DH wants the boy middle name to be Francis which is his middle name. I'm not sold.

    @KellyT22josephine was on my list for girls. love it. Johnny is such a cute nickname especially given the background story

    How far along are you/How old is baby?  38 weeks

    Any "special" moments with baby this week? not really. they call her the over achiever at my NSTs though because she's basically met the quota by the time they take my BP

    Any interesting developments (for you or baby)? i had an awful 24 hour stomach bug this week. being this far pregnant made everything 1000 times worse. i made DH come home lol

    Tell us how you REALLY feel. What has been the best and hardest things about pregnancy or birth for you?  besides being exhausted alllll the time I think not being able to control the way my body is changing has been most frustrating. Last pregnancy i got away without a stretch mark and this time i am definitely not as lucky.

    GTKY: Do you have baby's name picked out? Why did/will you choose that name? Her name is Scarlett Irene. Scarlett is a name we both liked and agreed on.. probably the only one lol.. to be fair, with our last name a lot of names just don't mesh well. Irene is after my grandma we lost last year. She will be the third in our family with this middle name. :)

    @KellyT22 Thanks for starting this! Work has been absolutely insane and I've been a bit overwhelmed with getting all my transition documents ready the past few weeks and have completely neglected this ticker change! Thanks for carrying it on :). Also I LOOOOOVE the name Josephine!
    @Gators&BoSox My LO is also an overachiever at NST tests - I've been enjoying that :). I'm sorry you've been feeling ill - I hope you get better soon. Sending healing vibes your way!

    How far along are you/How old is baby? 37w

    Any "special" moments with baby this week? Baby is measuring closer to "normal" now (she was considered "small for gestational age" before). 

    Any interesting developments (for you or baby)? Doc told me that if I don't go into labor before next Monday (3/6) that they are scheduling an induction for later that week. That freaked me out a little...

    Tell us how you REALLY feel. What has been the best and hardest things about pregnancy or birth for you?  The PGAL anxiety has been really hard for me throughout pregnancy. Recently, the sciatica and back pain has been out of control. The best part has been the movement for sure! I love her reassuring little kicks and jabs! She's gonna be such a little acrobat! Also, seeing DH bond with baby has been such a pleasure - it's so outside of the normal for him. I am loving it!

    GTKY: Do you have baby's name picked out? Why did/will you choose that name? Yes, but we have not shared it with anyone. We want to be able to announce it at the birth :)
