Anyone have an appointment this week? nope. Next appt at 11+1

Cravings/Symptoms? just extreme exhaustion....not too much of anything else other than the very occasional nausea (like, a few times a week, not even necessarily every day)

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I am alllllmost double digits...excited for that. I feel like making tiny milestones has helped the first few weeks go faster.

a cute bump, hopefully lol. Having it out in the open without having to sensor myself. In the staff room the other day, someone asked how far along my coworker was, and I ALMOST said, thinking out loud, "well, she's 8 weeks ahead of me, so..." but I stopped and just said "wellllllllllll......." while I did the calculation in my head lol.

I couldn't think of anything better lol. I would choose disproportionate feet because I use my feet way less than my hands...not that I want to be a clown, but I feel like I would miss normal hands more than I'd miss smaller feet. lol

Anyone have an appointment this week? Went in for my last u/s with my RE yesterday and everything's still looking perfect! First appt with my OB on Tuesday

Cravings/Symptoms? No real cravings. Dinner's a struggle every night, just because nothing my husband wants to eat ever sounds good and he thinks I'm starving myself because I don't want a real meal. Don't worry, H, I've been eating constantly since 7am, no starving going on here! And just tired and blah, not really sick. More just lazy and can't concentrate on anything.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Um, it's supposed to be 70° and sunny here today and I just wanna go sit outside and bask in the sun!

), now that it's coming soon! Oh man, I want my energy back so badly! I know I got lucky with my overall lack of symptoms, but I hate being such a bum all the time. And I'm starting to want to tell people but we decided we wouldn't really say anything until second tri, so that will be fun.

appointment today in an hour! They will set up my NT scan and my cell free bloodwork.... very anxious bc downs runs in family as well as some other disabilities... BAD genetics here

Cravings/Symptoms?
I don't really feel pregnant, which is making me feel super anxious. I know people will want to smack me for saying this but I only have occasional nausea and good aversions. Otherwise feel great!

Rants/Raves/Randoms?
I instructed my husband that we will not be announcing what we are having until Easter, his family is stupid and if they have anything negative to say I'd like them to be forced to say it in front of everyone. Kind of a deterant for any more negativity. I can't trust him to keep a secret so I think I'll have to tell him they messed up the blood work and we won't know until 20 weeks and just not tell him until Easter too!!! Grrrr men!

Ohhhh second trimester how I loved thee(during my first pregnancy). I'm excited for all things, but mostly to look pregnant and not fat! Like you know people are just being nice by not commenting on my total bloat every day!

This was hard bc I'm tall and have bigger feet! So big feet annoys be already. Then I was thinking about who difficult it would be to have little hands. Sooo despite the fact that big feet mean no/few pretty shoes. Little hands just wouldn't work for me. So I'd rather have disproportionately bigger feet!

I'm going against the trend here and saying I'd rather have tiny hands. It's already hard to find shoes that fit my big feet, I wouldn't want to make it any harder!

Not until mid March for 14 weeks

Cravings/Symptoms?
Cravings are still dependent on the day and I never want the left overs the next day. Symptoms are finally going away. I still have occasional nausea and headaches but no where near as consistent as they used to be.

Rants/Raves/Randoms?
I haven't updated any of these check ins for a while because I didn't want to jinx myself. I know that's dumb but the closer I get to second trimester the more confident I feel updating.

Does anyone know where to get maternity shorts that don't look so baggy? I have one pair of jean shorts from Target but they're so baggy.

Anyone have an appointment this week? Next week! midwife and NT scan.

Cravings/Symptoms? I really want banana bread, haha. And my nausea is finally slowing down in a major way. Except when it's food time, but it's an improvement over 24/7.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? I feel bad bc DH is complaining about not feeling connected right now, but I'm having a hard time just dealing with life. We get up early (5am), I get DS to in-laws, work, pick up DS, feed him and by then it's almost bed time for DS anyway. After 7:30pm, all I really want to do is crash on the couch, so I can go to bed at 9:30pm. I try to snuggle with DH, and make a concerted effort to talk to him about his day, etc, but otherwise.. just leave me alone. We'll connect again in second tri, I swear.

I really wanted a bagel and cream cheese ~a week ago. I finally went and grabbed it today on my way to work. Symptoms wise, I'm just super tired. Went to bed around 7:30 last night and slept through til 5am.

Rants/Raves/Randoms?
I've not gained any weight, but my pants don't fit comfortably any more. Especially by the end of the day. I don't own one of those bands for my jeans, so I've moved straight to these low band maternity jeans that my friend handed down. They are GREAT.

This is not based on any facts.... but i feel like it would be easier to walk in heels if I had larger feet, like distributing the pressure more, so I choose feet.

@jmn1985 I had a bagel and cream cheese for breakfast today too. It wasn't nearly as good as I was excepting it to be. And I'm envious of all the sleep you got last night, even though it wasn't that much more than me lol

@ChefRamsay every time I hear the expression tiny hands, I think of Trump. That was my other deciding factor against having tiny hands.
@jmn1985 I am considering getting a pair of those under bellies as my first maternity pants purchase. I've heard they don't work well for some as you get further along, but right now they sound like heaven.

Also, I forgot to bring my lunch to work today so I'm ordering out. I thought I'd be nice and tell some of my coworkers so we could all put in an order. My boss said he'd go pick it up and he's taking FOREVER. Um, please don't keep the pregnant lady waiting for lunch. It's mean. And now I'm so hungry I wanna puke.

@Becky012016 I got some really great maternity shorts off of Zulily! Not baggy and super cute distressed looking. Also I'd recommend looking on EBay. It might seem weird at first but cute maternity clothes are sooooo expensive and unless you plan having like 5 more kids during the same time of year, it's nice to have a cheaper version of your sometimes wardrobe.... I cringe every time I have to buy something maternity lol

@Becky012016 I think the fit on shorts can vary (just like any clothing), but I'd check out Old Navy or Gap maternity clothes.

Yesterday and today, my hands kept smelling like fish oil and I just couldn't figure out why. I hate fish, and don't take fish oil supplements. Well, I wore the same jeans yesterday and today (I'm that person, yup), and I realized my pocket was orange colored this morning. Bingo! One of my prenatals must have died a sad laundry death in my pocket, and now.. everything smells like fish oil. I don't put my jeans in the dryer, so I guess the smell just stuck. I hope it comes out, I'll have to heavy duty wash them tonight!!

Anyone have an appointment this week? Had our NT scan on Tues and tomorrow is prenatal appointment

Cravings/Symptoms? I attempted to stop taking diclegis and that went ok for a few days but I'm back on it today after a ROUGH day yesterday. Oh the nausea. My inner food is sad to not LIKE food. Sigh. Luckily the fatigue is gone. No cravings.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? We got to see little guy wiggling around during the NT scan. NT scan looked great. I couldn't see the screen during most of the ultrasound but DH could. I watched his face the whole time and it was just precious watching his expressions of love and awe.

I hope we get to see him again tomorrow at my appointment.

I agree with huge feet. Small hands are useless haha (my hands are some of the smallest out of the people I know).

@ColoradoHiker I just gagged. Gross. We used to put salmon oil in my dog's food and I got in on one of my shirts. It took a good 2-3 washes to get the smell out. GAG.

@cheframsay I changed my username after Christmas when my mom asked what my username was (she was curious because I went to meet a friend from TB so I was showing her TB and my friend's profile on FB to prove that it was legit and I wasn't going to get kidnapped by a bunch of men lol, so I said I don't use my real name on the public bump so she was like, oh, what's your name?) I answered and then was like CRAP my whole sexual history and charts are available for the last 14 months of my life....not something I want discovered by family accidentally

@jillibean0871 Good luck on your genetic screening! My Aunt has Turners Syndrome and my brother has a genetic disorder, so I've been a nervous wreck waiting for our results.

Anyone have an appointment this week? Today is my 12 week appt! Going over test results, hopefully hearing the heartbeat, and probably talking about how much weight I've gained. Oops.

Cravings/Symptoms? Just constantly eating. This week my skin has broken out pretty badly, my allergies were acting up yesterday, and I still have random headaches.

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Rave: our genetic screening FINALLY (after 2.5 weeks) came back last night and it's negative, meaning very low risk for chromosomal abnormalities. We're so relieved! Nervous out today's appt though, since we'll be learning more about my initial blood/urine tests and I have high blood pressure.

Questions? Not atm.
