Right now wishing we have a 1 story house. I have jolts of pain carrying my toddler up and down stairs (he's terrified of going up himself) and back pain so bad I can't really sit on the floor. I can deal with these symptoms normally but having DS brings it to a whole another level of tired and sore. The site where I got my tdap shot is still sore.
Someone just walked in to see me doing this under my desk, coming up with a pair of scissors. Their face was priceless! I had to cut the sides of my socks down because my ankles have become so swollen around them it was getting uncomfortable. I told him I just had the kids and was simply cutting the umbilical cord. I've also had carpal tunnel for the last week or so.

So. Freaking. Tired. But still wanting the sex. There just isn't enough time in the day...
I've cut back on eating fried foods, and I think baby is starting to drop, so the combo of those two things means I haven't had to take Tums the last two nights. I feel hungry all the time though, so my plan to enjoy a plate of cheese enchiladas today may backfire on me.
Not sure if I'm all of a sudden getting some energy (I never got that promised 2nd trimester energy spurt), but I can NOT fall asleep at night. Usually I'm asleep around 8, sometimes earlier. But the last couple nights I haven't been able to fall asleep until 11 or later. Last night I didn't fall asleep until 1am!!!
Last night I started to get a numb feeling at the top of my rib cage on the left hand side. It is happening again today. I totally forgot about this happening to me last time around. Such an odd sensation!
I have first trimester exhaustion and totally agree with @visualcircus in dreaming of a one story house, I can't handle the stairs any longer! And there's no such thing as comfortable sleep anymore, and I'm ready to be on mat leave already, my job is too physically demanding, even with everyone doting on me...I'm not grumpy this week I swear
Add me to the heartburn/acid reflux club. I've been waking up in the middle of the night with horrible acid reflux. Other than that, just trying to deal with the pelvic pain and not being able to walk around pretty much at all. Dh has been helping me dress because I haven't been able to lift my legs enough!
@KirstinH88 I also have had an odd amount of energy lately, but I didn't have any though the first and second trimester. And echoing everyone else with the heartburn.
+10000 for the heartburn/indigestion/reflux. It doesn't matter what I eat or when I eat. Ugh.
Also, these Braxton hicks contractions are killing me. They're not painful, they're just a bit bothersome and distracting at work. I know they're supposed to ramp up around this time (I'm 31 weeks) but this is ridiculous.
For all of the heartburn sufferers out there, I spoke with my OB yesterday about taking something other than Tums. She told me anything over-the-counter was safe, like Prilosec or Pepcid. I'm totally buying some today.
@rachelmiller03 yes! I've been doing tums during the day and Pepcid at night before bed and it's helped. I asked the doctor yesterday but adding Zantac too and she said it was fine. So I'm curious to see what will work the best of all of them.
My cravings have been out of control. When I want something, I start to obsess over it and end up being distracted until I get what I want. This can't be healthy.
@magheeta that was me at the beginning of the 2nd tri! I wanted a baked potato and I obsessed about it until I got one. Then that craving was satisfied and I found a new craving to obsess about.
@magheeta and @kirstinh88, yes!! Me too! Once I started feeling better in 2nd tri I would obsess, eat it, move to a new obsession, eat it, move on...and on and on that cycle went and still goes! Haha!
I walked a total of .8 miles to get something to eat for lunch today (I work downtown with no transportation) and when I was done, I was winded and my back was hurting.
My belly feels so stretched out. By the end of the day, it is so sore and it feels as if (gross thought) my muscles are pulling apart. I can't get into a comfortable position. I can't believe I have 8 weeks left.

TMI alert - anyone here struggling with gas? for the last 5 days, I am having crazy tummy rumbles and a lot of gas, and sadly not the odorless variety.
Me: 35 year old FTM, a busy city banker living in London, and a constant worrier. My DH: French guy, car fanatic, best husband ever. Our baby boy: Due on 17 April, currently 37 weeks. I can't believe it - I made it to full term!!!! Last measurement: 3150 gs at 37+1! This is going to be a big baby
@smallanimal - my gas has been unreal. I wish I could use it to power my home. I was in my car yesterday and thought I'd let a "little" one slip, but it was HORRIBLE. I had to roll down my windows.
I had my first internal check yesterday and today I've been having more BH than usual and still stomach cramping. Not a happy camper today since I didn't sleep well last night. How long till April?
