Appointments this week? Just got back from one this morning. Go again in 2 weeks and then it's every week..Holy moly!
Symptoms? TONS of BHs (see Dr Appt thread) and SO tired
Rant/Rave/Questions? Got a lot done this weekend so starting to feel better about a new one joining our family in a few weeks but still so much I'd like to do. Everyone around me is having their babies 2-3 weeks early and it's making me freak out a bit. I know it's not contagious or anything but still haha
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? Hmm, I honestly have no idea!
How big is baby? Butternut squash, large bag of chips
Appointments this week? I had an appointment Monday and my next one is 3/6. I do have a dentist appointment next week though! Fingers crossed for no cavities.... ain't nobody got time for that!
Symptoms? Oh Lord.... my ankles and feet are perpetually swollen now. I have to pee even more than previously (did not know that was possible). Not sleeping well (last night wasn't too bad though). So much discharge it's ridiculous.OB thinks I'm having some Braxton Hicks based on my description, but I still find it to be very difficult to tell.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Rave: I get next Tuesday off for Mardi Gras, so that's fun! Still have to come in on Monday though.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? Random, but I think I'd want to learn how to build websites? That would be a fantastic skill for my small (hopefully growing in the future) business and it's also something I could work at home doing.
ETA: forgot about my BH, adding those to list of symptoms
Exhaustion, BH's are making a comeback, & gas, so much gas.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
I'm feeling relieved that I actually had a good conversation at my last appointment. I met with the NP in the practice, and she was asking me good questions (other than feeling good? any questions for me?) like making sure I had my rhogam, how I was going to feed baby and if I was prepared for it (letting me know options etc), and actually told me what to expect at my next appointment (Tdap shot). She was able to confirm that my Rh incompatibility with DS did not contribute to his jaundice, so that was a huge relief. I like my OB, but he always seems so rushed, so I feel like I could ask my questions later and never do.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? These days? Sleep/nap. Actually, I like crafting and I think I would like to learn how to quilt or get better with my photography. I remember quilting as a kid and really enjoyed it, so I think I'd like to develop that skill, but I've always had an interest in photography and have been slowly working on my skills there, too.
I second the gas @Magheeta, for the last few days, it's been constant. I've had it better than most otherwise so no complaints here.
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Is anyone else finding that all anyone wants to talk to you about is pregnancy? I was at my sister's on the weekend and ALL my mom and two sisters talked about was pregnancy and labour and delivery. Then we met with some of my sister's friends, and that's ALL they talked about around me. I eventually left because I was so tired of it. I get that it's something that a lot of women have in common, but c'mon I don't want to talk about it ALL THE TIME. I'm still me! I still have other interests. I don't need to hear how terrible your labour pains were or about how my hooha can rip. Sorry... end rant.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? I would want to learn how to fly an airplane. I've always wanted to learn.

Appointments this week? I have my first check in with my psychiatrist on Thursday. Since my PPD was so extreme after my first, they're already on the look out.
Symptoms? Anxious. Really tired. Very quick to get extremely annoyed/angry.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I wish my husband was home more. My family has been so awesome. But I miss him. A lot. As loving as he is, his lack of precense makes it feel like I'm having this baby alone.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? I'm pretty good at baking and cooking but would love to further develop my skills. Preferably with baking first.
How big is baby? A loaf of bread (great; now I want bread).
Appointments this week? Nope. I have one on Monday, though. PP also reminded me that I need to schedule my dentist appointment (I have really bad anxiety about going to the dentist - DH told me that I can't go get my prenatal massage until I get my teeth cleaned ).
Symptoms? Really tired again randomly this week, and lots of back pain. I'm starting to wish that my belly would stick out more and she would get off of my spine, because it's driving me nuts! My insurance doesn't cover a chiropractor but I'm seriously considering just paying for it out of pocket to get some relief. Also, hemorrhoids suck. A lot.
Rant/Rave/Questions? I am so beyond ready for DH to be done traveling. We have 6 weeks left until RCS and he is traveling for 3 of them (including this week). I know he bulked up his travel so that he could be home and unoccupied with work projects for longer after birth, but I am so tired and over it that it's just pissing me off that he's never here.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? I have always wanted to learn a second language. I already know how to crochet but would love to do more with that, if I had the time.
Symptoms? Insomnia. I woke up at 2:30 last night, finally got up at 3:30 and didn't go back to sleep until 5:30. I did get all of my grading done for the day, though. I've lost my appetite which isn't a good thing because I only tend to eat when I am hungry. Also, I am with Schef070911, the discharge and going to the bathroom party has gotten lame.
Rant/Rave/Questions? The nursery is finally coming together. We've got the crib, dresser, bookshelf, side table for the glider, mobile, and rug. I've patched touched up the walls so I can start unpacking everything! I had my first shower this weekend and I am looking forward to picking up all my gifts and putting them away in the nursery.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? Lately I've been wanting to learn how to use watercolor pens.
Appointments this week? Bi-weekly check-in on Friday
Symptoms? Heartburn and general uncomfortableness. Baby won't let me slouch or sit in any one position for too long.
Rant/Rave/Questions? So looking forward to the Baby shower this weekend. We are the first among our friends to have a baby and all of our friends are super excited for us.
GTKY: If you had unlimited free time to do so, what is a skill/ability you would want to learn how to do? I always wanted to add a second language to my skill set. I've attempted French and Italian but nothing sticks for very long.
