As the first of us J17ers hit V-Day, I thought it may be fun to have a GIF Party to celebrate. Once you hit this milestone post your favorite celebratory GIF!
Happy v-day! For some reason I thought they moved v-day to 28 weeks, so I got a little geeked when I saw this. I think they just moved term up from 37 to 39, right?
And here I thought this was about Valentine's Day, and couldn't figure out why that had anything to do with 24 or 28 weeks.... I need to go back to sleep

I thought this too... But I went to my high risk perinatal anatomy screen... and all of the "new" paperwork said... "How many pregnancies did you have go full term (37 weeks or after)? How many were premature (36 weeks for before)?
It caught me off guard because I thought the new full term was was 39 weeks.
@Stankonia2014 Yes, full term I believe is considered 39 weeks now instead of 37. Lol @MKRLTX I tried to make sure it wasn't confused with Valentine's Day by adding the weeks in the title but I can totally see where the confusion comes from.
It makes me happy that so many June mamas get vdays on / near the more commonly used vday. Now I'm going to wait and celebrate them together next Saturday

@jennas312 it is also usually the standard for which medical professionals will work to save a baby born prematurely... before the viability date, it's morbid, but the assumption is the baby wouldn't make it and I hope none of us will have to experience this potential associated preterm labor. We're almost there for our BMB!
