Upcoming appointments this week? Tuesday.
Any new symptoms or changes? Achy hips/pelvis feels like everything is loose and stretched out in my joints. More Braxton hicks at night.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Rave: it is supposed to be very springlike here for the next four days which gives me spring fever. However, it also makes the end of March seem like it should be closer than it is.
Baby prep done this week? Washed all our gender neutral newborn and 0-3 month clothes.

How far along are you/how much longer ((if baby is here: how old is baby))? Big ol' 40weeks tomorrow!
How big is baby/milestones? Due Date achievement unlocked. Hah. Fully cooked--US estimated 8lbs on Tuesday--so probably a current 8 1/2lbs
Upcoming appointments this week? Appointment Wednesday if baby doesn't arrive before then--will talk overdue /induction decisions if it were to come to that. Probably looking at Friday March 3rd induction as the longest id have to be pregnant!
Any new symptoms or changes? I pulled a muscle in my leg-it's been downhill from there! I can't tell if it's all the leg muscle causing issues or if baby has also dropped-but my underbelly/pelvis/upper legs are just OFF.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I've said this multiple places - currently counting down till this day is over so baby doesn't have to share MILs birthdate-13hrs to go. Almost close enough that even if I do go into labor soon I should make it. I feel bad that I'm so concerned about this... but not at the same time.
Baby prep done this week? After ultrasound confirmed gender: Washed more 0-3 mo clothes that were gifted to us that I hadn't wanted to touch just incase it was a boy, organized closet space-used gift cards to buy another box of diapers and wipes-finishing touches on hospital bag! (Just have to grab phone charger and basic daily makeup on the way out the door!)

Any new symptoms or changes? Ugh, my hips and lower back feel like they have metal pins in them. So tired, and having a stomach bug is not helping, hardly slept last night from the hip pain, fever and throwing up. Feeling baby pushing downwards a lot and lots of cramps and BH at night. Its 10:30am and I just put my toddlers down for a nap cause I couldn't handle it anymore. Gonna regret that later haha.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Not much to report. Ready for baby! Can't clean because sick which is driving me crazy but if I walk more than ten feet I get winded and black vision.
Baby prep done this week? Washed all clothes and finalized my amazon order for all the stuff I am buying when our tax return gets here. I love online shopping!
GTKY: Best ice cream flavor? Peanut Butter and Chocolate/Pralines and Cream, always, or Baseball Nut specifically from Baskin Robbins which is their seasonal flavor during baseball season which is soon ahhhh!!! I love ice cream

Upcoming appointments this week? No, this is my last week without one.
Any new symptoms or changes? The hip pain is just getting worse. It wakes me up about every hour at night and I have to try to find a new comfortable position.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I wasn't planning on doing maternity pictures but my sister is and she wanted me in some of them with her so that's what I'll be doing later this afternoon.
Baby prep done this week? We had the baby shower for DH's work this week. Overall it went well. DS and I joined him for it. There was a really cute diaper cake but I had to throw about half of the diapers away because they had hot glue all over them. Someone gave DS some scrubs that say big brother on them. It's not exactly baby related, but I've also been cleaning out our guest room which we'll need ready for DH's parents after baby is born.

How far along are you/how much longer ((if baby is here: how old is baby))? 36 weeks tomorrow!!!! How did I make it this far?! 1ish weeks to go till induction. Not sure when it's scheduled for...or if it's scheduled haha. I think both my Dr and I were so convinced she would be earlier that it hasn't really come up!
How big is baby/milestones? Baby Elise was 6lbs on US last week!! Im so hopeful that it's close!
Upcoming appointments this week? Tuesday and Thursday...only issue is that neither of them are with my doctor. Will be calling Monday to talk to the nurse and see what we can do.
Any new symptoms or changes? Starting to feel more pressure but mostly it's the butt that's pushing under my ribs on the right! Also...feeling like I can't catch my breath, even when I'm lying still.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I'm sorta hoping I will just go into labor naturally toward the end of this coming week and be able to avoid the induction. While I want her too cook as long as possible, there would be something so amazing about being able to have a normal labor. I guess beggars can't be choosers and I should just be grateful that she should be pretty darn healthy at any point now! Also, just realized that I will most likely get to hold my baby and do skin to skin/breast feed right away!!!!! I have been preparing myself for a preemie for so long that it never felt possible. Ugh...now I'm crying. So freaking grateful!

How far along are you/how much longer ((if baby is here: how old is baby))? 36 weeks...who knows? I'm anticipating an early arrival (who isnt) just based on how i feel: lots of motivation to clean out closets, dwindling energy, tons of painful cramps at night. So maybe the weekend of the 3rd? Id be 38 weeks.
How big is baby/milestones? About 6 pounds, supposedly
Upcoming appointments this week? Monday morning. I am taking my son, which I hate, but he keeps asking "Baby? Doctor. Mama. Baby." which I'm pretty sure means he is asking when we are going to the mommy doctor to hear the baby.
Any new symptoms or changes? Cramps. Ugh, so bad at night I dont really want to clean up from dinner or even walk around, just drink water and roll over to try to relieve pressure, sigh.

Baby prep done this week? Made a huge last to do list. It's hot everything itemized on it from cleaning the Windows in the master bedroom to switching the toddler's carseat to the driver's side to make room for a rear facing one on the passenger side. I made it through the entire master bedroom list this morning, including dusting the baseboards and cleaning the door handles, lol, but that was only a third of the first page. 2 and a third pages to go!

Tyler is 6 days old - I would have been 36 weeks today
How big is baby/milestones? He was born at 6lbs 11 oz. We were discharged from the hospital Wednesday and he was 6 lbs 5 oz and at the dr Thursday he was 6 lbs 3 oz.

None - ob at 2 week mark

Nope just feeling good and happy baby is here and healthy

The post birth hormones kicked in today. Mil told me today she had been planning a surprise shower for me for next Sunday. I thought that was really nice as I didn't expect anything but later I cried when telling DH because I was upset they scheduled it for when I would be 37 weeks along and hadn't sent out invites or confirmed it with anyone since baby was born the day before invites were being sent out. Also I had DS1 at 32 weeks last time and had to attend my shower 5 days after he was born last time. Now it's not even scheduled and I'm so upset that they would have tried to schedule it so late in my pregnancy especially after what happened with first DS. I wish she hadn't told me. Crazy hormones or legit upset?
Rave: breastfeeding is going so well!!! I was not able to with DS1 as he was so early. What a difference 3 weeks makes!

How big is baby/milestones? Baby is the size of a papaya. Was told baby should be 8-8.5 lbs if born at 40 weeks. Not really sure how big that makes him now
Upcoming appointments this week? Normal check up on Wednesday
Any new symptoms or changes? Well, I'm 99% sure I've developed PUPPPS and it SUCKS. My belly is SOOOO itchy. Other than that, my hips seem less sore since baby dropped... however... holy mother of god the lightening crotch!! Plus more general cramping. Hoping it's a sign baby is coming sooner rather than later
Rants/Raves/Randoms? Rant.... turns out sex is also painful now that baby has moved positions, bummer. But at least we can still have fun in other ways.
Baby prep done this week? To be honest, all the baby stuff is ready! Room is set up, things are washed. We're ready to go!

Any new symptoms or changes? My hands and feet were swollen last night, so that was not cool or fun and somewhat worrying. First time for me.
Rants/Raves/Randoms? We were given a 2 day window to schedule an ECV in (if we want to try it, vs. just scheduling a c-section), and those days give me a choice between my least and second least favorite doctors in the practice. Not really my ideal, but oh well. Still hoping baby will flip.
Baby prep done this week? We're all doing laundry! Got the newborn - 6mo lights, plus all the sheets/covers/etc washed (80% of everything is light colored). Assembled the baby furniture, put it up in our room. Bought a few more baby clothes.

I'd say maybe the crying was hormones, but it's fair to let the lack of planning/consideration for your last birth get to you... it just seems like she wasn't thinking when she was planning it this time, even with her heart in the right place. & crying over anything is valid right now

How far along are you/how much longer ((if baby is here: how old is baby))? 38 weeks today. Im hoping she is "late" (March 7) but I wouldn't be surprised if she comes in 39 weeks. I just keep telling her to wait until after the 24th. I have a moy brunch I want to go.to lol

Rants/Raves/Randoms? Random lol - I had the most AMAZING REAL massage last week. But I was Super sore bc she actually worked out knots. I really want to go back but tbh I'm also afraid of being sore and going into labor.
Baby prep done this week? Still putting together the basement for our home birth. Im getting soooo excited for the whole process.

Baby prep done this week? Nursery painting done. Built furniture. Completed registry purchases and waiting for them to arrive. DH finally got his TDaP this morning.

@vino831 ahhhh, I LOVE proper massages!! I hate when you go in and ask for a deep massage and it's like they're too scared they're going to hurt you. But I can see your point about not wanting to be sore for delivery, haha. Enjoy your massage tomorrow!

How far along are you/how much longer ((if baby is here: how old is baby))? 38 weeks, 1 day, so just a waiting game at this point.
How big is baby/milestones? Lanugo mostly gone, lungs are strong enough to be fine on his own. I'll find out how big he is at another growth scan tomorrow. I'm guessing about 8 lbs right now.
Upcoming appointments this week? Again, growth scan tomorrow, as well as a NST tomorrow and Thursday, and weekly appointment Friday. This is starting to get mind-boggling. I'm not really even high-risk. They thought I was going to be but my blood pressure keeps getting better and better as the pregnancy goes on.
Any new symptoms or changes? Not since last week. But he just. keeps. dropping. He feels like he's going to crawl out of me soon. Dr. checked me on Friday and I am 1-2cm and 50% effaced, which is about where I was with DD at this point. Dr. also said that if he's over 10 lbs they will schedule a C-section but either way will probably schedule an induction for after 39 weeks because he is so large and that will maybe save me 1/2 lb or so to push out
Rants/Raves/Randoms? I had the most amazing salad today at Panera. It was a green goddess cobb salad. Sorry NBR but that's all I can think of right now. Salad has been my major craving lately so there's that.
Baby prep done this week? Nursery is mostly done with most of the clothes sorted and put away, car seat installed.
GTKY: Best ice cream flavor? We live in the Philly area and there's this really amazing flavor called Graham Slam that is sponsored by the Phillies. It's graham cracker flavored ice cream with some kind of graham cracker/caramel swirl and tiny chocolate covered marshmallows. Mmmmm....
@korpisar so happy to hear that Tyler is doing well and that you are rocking BFing! Hopefully it's settled a bit since you posted about your intended shower but I'm going to be on your side and say it's not hormones...seems a little late to be planning a shower (and not having even sent invites out)! Maybe they'll at least put together a little after party for you? I know some people do sip and sees after baby comes so perhaps that's a possibility.

@Phil413 I've been eating lots of salads at work also! Like huge mason jar salads haha. I take the bags of pre-packaged salad kits and that's enough lettuce for just 2 salads worth (plus extras I add on my own).

My parents came to visit this weekend and helped get lots of stuff cleaned in baby room and in the office/guest room where they will be staying for a couple weeks after baby comes. I got the rest of my amazon registry stuff ordered, the name sign for baby's room, and some more random blankets and decorations bought (serial, compulsive online shopper...I told DH it's not going to get any better when I'm up in the middle of the night feeding LO
) Glider is being delivered this week and I think except for decorations baby's room is done! Debating ordering a bookcase to sort toys/books but haven't decided yet.
