NOTHING any of us did made us lose our babies.... but we all have guilt. This is a safe place to get it out and let it go.

I was sick and took Mucinex Fast Max because the pharmacy said it was safe. I didn't call the OB because it was the weekend. Doc said bleeding could be from coughing or sex. I didn't feel well before that. #guiltbegone

I had a feeling I might be pregnant but it was Christmas & I wanted to enjoy some adult beverages with my family. I keep wondering if maybe that made a difference. #guiltbegone

I know I don't usually post here (though I do lurk a lot) but when I saw @NYTino24's post I wanted to respond.

Just because I am happy and excited about this pregnancy does not take away the sadness and love I had for the pregnancy I lost. #guiltbegone

ETA I know that's not exactly what you were going for with this post, but it is something I have a lot of guilt over.

Had to see a lot of pro-life bs on Facebook Sunday (March for Life)... stuff about babies feeling excruciating pain, etc. not 4 days after I was forced to terminate my cornual ectopic *to save my life*.

The nurses/recovery people wouldn't answer my question post-procedure if fetal heartbeat was stopped already. I've since pulled up the following description of the same procedure performed on a woman who was within a day of me when hers was performed. (I was 7w5d with an HCG of 15,066.)

"Case 1: a 32 year-old woman, nullipara, at 7 week and 4 days of amenorrhea. A transvaginal ultrasound showed a gestational sac of 22×22 mm of diameter into the left corner of the uterus. The embryo measured 3 mm CRL with a beating heart and the value of beta-hCG raised from 7225 to 11080 mUI/ml during 24 hours before the treatment. The gestational sac was localized by a transabdominal transducer coupled to an automated puncture device. Twenty mg of MTX in 10 ml of saline were injected into the sac with a 22-Gauge needle. During injection, fetal cardiac activity ceased immediately."

My baby didn't suffer. It was instant. #guiltbegone

I had an HSG done on Dec 13th as part of fertility testing. I had my period prior and I even tested that morning of the HSG just to be safe and it came back negative. I found out the next week I was pregnant. Instantly I freaked out about the HSG affecting my baby even though OB said it couldn't. I even called the Radiologist that did my procedure. #Guiltbegone

I also felt like shit one night I was pregnant and was so scared and had a thought about not being pregnant and there was no going back. #Guiltbegone

My progesterone was a tad low for what it should have been. I felt like I was broken and maybe it didn't stick because of my progesterone. #Guiltbegone

@GhanimaAtreides I know nothing about ectopics. I'm so sorry you had to deal with that decision obviously for your health.

Similar to @amu1234 with the drinking.
I got a bfn on 8dpo and was attending a Wedding that night and got fairly tipsy. Got my bfp two days later and of course wonder if that night had anything to do with it

but I have to remind myself that it did not do my guilt can be gone.

I had a cold and took big doses of vitamin c and zinc thinking it would be safer than cold medicine. Found out later that zinc can inhibit implantation.....lost baby at 5w. Having a really hard time with guilt this time around.

I worked out after not being to the gym for awhile. A day later I started bleeding and four days later I had the miscarriage. I blamed myself for doing ab work and jumping and some how shaking the baby loose. guilt be gone...

I was having contractions two days before I passed the baby. If I had gone to the hospital, they would have done a D&C and I might have gotten a reason for what happened. Because I MC naturally, my doctor wouldn't test. #guiltbegone

@NYTino24 I had a D&C my first miscarriage and they couldn't tell me what went wrong. Good post by the way. I read everyone's posts and thought, what they are blaming themselves over that!? Then I read mine. It is not our fault.

A lot of guilt this time. Was it because I got a cold and used the wrong essential oils in the vaporizer? Because I didn't start taking baby aspirin even though I suspected I had clotting issues last time? Because I didn't push on my doctor to test my progesterone & HCG levels immediately so I could start the suppositories sooner? Was it the champagne we had on NYE even though I didn't get my BFP for another 5 days? So much guilt and I'll never know.

Was it the 2-3 cups of double shot espresso I had three days in a row while dead exhausted living off 4 hours of sleep a night and helping my hubby coordinate during the huge 3 day event he was in charge of. My period was a few days late but I had taken a test and got a bfn. A week after the event I finally got a BFP. I'll never know but I can't change it. #guiltbegone
