Game Time: Ask Your Partner about TTC

I thought this could be a fun game. Ask your partner (or someone else if you prefer) a question about TTC and tell us the funny things they say! It'll be like "husbands say the darndest things." But obviously open to all, not just husbands ;)

My DH said: About 2 weeks

    He knows way too much

Ask your DH, Why do I take ovulation strips? What do they test?

Ooooh I like this idea!  DH is staying out of town tonight, but maybe I'll text him some questions. I'm sure his answers will be hilarious...

Me: Hey babe, do you know how long the egg lasts?
    Fiance: A week?
    Me: ...no...it's up to 24hrs.
Fiance: That was my second guess.
Me: Okay...so how long after ovulation do we wait before a pregnancy test will turn?
    Fiance: Uh....3 days?

I am so amused with him right now.  :D

I'll have to ask OH some questions later, but last week I was feeling frisky and tried to initiate some recreational GDTPT.

    OH:  How's your vagina?

    Aurora:  Great!  ...wait, why?

OH:  There isn't anything going on down there?  (gestures toward my crotch)

    Aurora:  Like what??

OH:  AF isn't on her way?

Aurora:  Honey, I just ovulated 3 days ago!!

OH:  So you're sure everything is good to go and it's not going to get messy?  (mind you, he's never had a problem regardless)

    Aurora:  *facepalm*

Also, OH has no clue about when to test or the accuracy of HPTs.  *TW*  When I got KU in June with my loss, he was completely skeptical that I was because he thought it was too early to know.  Turns out he was right not to get excited, but not for the right reasons.

No need for me to ask because my husband spews unsolicited nonsense about TTC constantly.  Just last night he was vehement that women get pregnant outside of their fertile window all the time.  I was like uhhhhh no, those women just don't know when they're ovulating...

I also don't need to ask DH, he says incorrect ish all the time, such as "you can really get KU any day of your cycle". Uh huh.

DH did better than I thought he would on these. He kept saying I think you have told me this, apparently I talk about this too much.
