(About 5 minutes later at the end of the game)
DH: [In a defeated tone] Super bowl baby isn't possible now, Patriots won.
Me: ?!?!?
Fiance: A week?
Me: ...no...it's up to 24hrs.
Fiance: That was my second guess.
Me: Okay...so how long after ovulation do we wait before a pregnancy test will turn?
Fiance: Uh....3 days?
I am so amused with him right now.

Aurora: Honey, I just ovulated 3 days ago!!
OH: So you're sure everything is good to go and it's not going to get messy? (mind you, he's never had a problem regardless)
Aurora: *facepalm*
Also, OH has no clue about when to test or the accuracy of HPTs. *TW* When I got KU in June with my loss, he was completely skeptical that I was because he thought it was too early to know. Turns out he was right not to get excited, but not for the right reasons.

Anywho, H is no fun anymore. After visits to the RE, he's got most of the basics covered. Before, basically every time after we had sex he would look at me and go: "Babay?" He would also use, "maybe your pregnant" in a really excited voice any time I mentioned anything being out of the ordinary physically. Umm, no. It doesn't work like that.

TTC 2/10/17 - BFP 5/5/17 - EDD 1/11/18
I was telling DH about my cycle frustrations. At this point, I'm at CD33 with no signs of ovulation or AF. His response? "Maybe there's a baby in there." I proceed to explain that I haven't ovulated, so that's impossible. He tries to tell me that "maybe your body is different" and that's why I haven't seen a temp shift. Cue lesson on BBT and accepted/not accepted variances. In the end, he decided "I'm going to choose to believe there might be a baby in there."
I love his optimism and how much he wants this, but I'm so upset with this cycle and him denying what's happening just makes me feel more lost and alone. Meh. FX I see AF soon before I go crazy. Or worse, DH has me thinking I might actually be KTFU this cycle.

When can I take a pregnancy test? "Well, I have to know when you got your period. Like a month from then."
Why do I take my temperature? "To know if you ovulated yet. But you don't really know your body because you don't know when you'll ovulate. We should just do it every day." (He doesn't like that my ovulation ranges.)
What day is it in my cycle? "I think like two weeks?" (He normally wouldn't know, but this AF was the worst.)
What does EWCM mean? "It means you're in your fertile window. That stuff is gross."
He was 100% correct, but my irregularity confuses him. Usually he picks up on ovulation because I get emotional and cry about something. The MC has thrown his sleuthing abilities off! There is hope for them all though, because a few months ago he was just like, "I don't care and I don't want to know. We should just relax and do it a lot."
