This might be better suited for WTO but wth- For those of you using the advanced OPKs, why do you use them over the wondfo's? For those of you who have used the wondfos and switched, why? Are they better or worse in your opinion? How much do you spend a month on them? Does FF agree with you? Does any one have one of those saliva opk checkers?
@Redpuma119 I have used both the advanced OPKs and Wondfo. I was having some issues pinpointing O with Wondofs as one month I had positive wondfos for DAYS. I found it stressful so I switched to advanced OPKs. Plus the wondfos also stressed DH out, they weren't "clear" enough for him. My secondary symptoms (CM etc.) seem to correlate well with the advanced OPKs. This month I did stop using them after flashing smiley simply because I ran out and DH had surgery so it seemed silly to spend the money. I generally purchase them on amazon as they are cheaper than in the drug store. Last month I used Wondfos for a few days first until they started getting darker then switched over to advanced OPKs. Hope that helps!! They are more expensive but less stressful in my opinion.
@LuND tempting, ill see if I can be strong. I bet I cave on Saturday tho.
Interesting that so many of us are istj. I wonder and suspect that that's a really common one for women... Especially detailed oriented women who scientifically monitor their cycles and BDing
Happy Birthday @Dilynne!! @LuND seriously loling at the thought of you breaking YH! Btw I'm right there with you with the BSC. I feel like at this point I've had every possible pregnancy symptom and somehow never been pregnant. @dragonfly87 DH was very motivated this cycle due to a bet. He insisted on every day. I actually wanted to try EOD this month since ED didn't work last cycle. Also I just got a smart watch and I'm constantly checking my HR as well. I'm really curious to see if there will be a difference between pre and post-O. @wabash15 I really hope you guys can find a way to make the budget work.

@wabash15 I'm so sorry about your budgeting issues. DH and I just bought our first house two years ago and had such a hard time adjusting our budget since we moved to a different state and cost of living. If we had to do infertility treatments I don't think there would be a way for us to afford it without putting ourselves into tremendous amounts of debt. I hope you and YH are able to figure out a solution to your problem. Money sucks.

Hopefully I'll lose the weight but I refuse to feel bad about myself in the meanwhile!!

@breezybee It's always super tiresome. I dread winter every single year. Everyone always says the first snow is so pretty. It's not. It's all gross.
@LuND Girl, I am with ya on the BSC. DF said maybe it's happening this morning. I just put my hand up and said don't. Do not feed my crazy anymore.
@Dilynne Happy Birthday to youuuuu !!

Month/Cycle: 14/14
CD/DPO: 25/10
Timing: -5, -2, -1, 0, +1
Testing: if AF is late
R/R: the stress of the past year of TTC plus working nights has caused me to gain five pounds. I've upped my exercise but I was sick of feeling bad about myself whenever I got dressed in the morning. I went shopping today and bought myself new jeans and some looser fitting shirts that don't make me depressed when I wear them. Hopefully I'll lose the weight but I refuse to feel bad about myself in the meanwhile!!
CS/Q: had a dip in temp on 7dpo and it is causing the BSC to start thinking it must be implantation. I need to stop getting my hopes up.
GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you? If no, do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? I did once but all I remember of it was I'm more introverted.

@wabash15 this is sad news, I am sorry. I hope that you guys tackle this hurdle.
@Redpuma119 I liked the CBADs very much. I used them the first 7 cycles and this one I did the CBAD with the wondfos for comparison. They were in agreememt. I want to make the switch because the CBAD are so expensive and they don't work for 48 hours once you have a solid smiley so I wanted to know how long the surge was lasting.

@WillRunForWine21 that's a wonderful accomplishment for your H!! I did the same when my DH graduated from PA school and had his white coat ceremony.

@willrunforwine21 Thanks you for the insight. I'll probably try them out along with the wondfos for one cycle and see how they do. And that's great about your husband! What an accomplishment!
