    Oh, thanks Zoe!!  It was very nice!!  Have to admit, after being the party planner for years, it felt very strange to be the the guest of honor.  But opening the presents and imagining my baby in the adorable outfits was pretty cool!! 

    DH's Aunt made us several items - two blankets and two cloth books - very cute.  And his parents who bought us the stroller AND car seat.

    Note to self for future party planning...  the melted chocolate candy bar in a diaper game (guess which candy bar) and the pair up in teams... and one person FEEDS baby food to the other... are weird/strange and no one likes them!!

    Awww, how sweet! I'm curious about the cloth books, that sounds really cute. And GREAT that you have your stroller and carseat now. I bet that alone makes you feel much more prepared!

    I always feel a bit awkward being the guest of honor too...I remember the same feeling at my wedding shower (not to mention the wedding itself). Our 2nd baby shower is this weekend and K will be there, so hopefully it won't feel so strange. I'm just no good at being the center of attention.

    That diaper game does sound odd. I have to say, I've never been a big fan of most baby shower games. I banned them from my showers, in fact, under the guise of having them be co-ed...since I REALLY didn't think the men would appreciate them!

    Smart girl!!  I think that co-ed baby showers are a great idea!!  I hope K has fun... and gets to feel a little spoiled like we Mama's do!

    YAY!  I am so glad your shower went well!  I have heard about that diaper game, but have never witnessed it.  Sorry that had to happen at yours.  Tongue Tied   But don't you loooove all the adorable little clothes and stuff?!?!  :)
