  • Month/Cycle: 5/5

    CD/DPO: 23ish

    Timing: ED

    Testing: Tryinggg to hold out

R/R: Another snow storm. I haven't worked all week due to the snow (approximately 100cm at this point) and I'm getting SO backed up. It sucks and I'm over it.

CS/Q: My doctor used lube yesterday at my pap, but because I have already Od it wouldn't effect anything, right ?

GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you?

I have never heard of this until now. We have a colours test in Canada. We always had to take it at the nursing home I worked at.

Timing: FF said high. I think it lied.

    Testing: Just did. BFN

R/R: Kindve bummed. My temp dropped this morning. It's still pretty high above coverline but it still stings.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: I haven't taken that test. I've done the color tests though. If I have a few minutes at work I might try to see if I can find one online today.
  • @FLAshley if you already ovulated it shouldn't be an issue

@Redpuma119 so sorry for the bfn :(

    @safire3 hope you feel better!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2 of actively trying

    CD/DPO:  20/3

    Timing: -4 (let's pretend they're super-sperm and it counts!),-3, -2, O

Testing: I drove myself crazy by beginning to test around "implantation" last cycle, so I'll try to hold off longer this time.

R/R: I already started symptom spotting :D I was a hypochondriac as a kid and this tendency is totally feeding my imagination while TTC. I had a bizarre dizzy spell at work (2dpo, mind you), almost like I was on a roller coaster – my neck got hot and tingly, my face flushed. And my first thought was "pregnant?"

CS/Q: Felt weirdly proud to be awarded crosshairs this morning.

GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you?

INFJ – Introvert/Intuitive/Feeling/Judging (I just took it again and always fall borderline between Judging and Perceiving). I'm going to edit to broaden the question above, since maybe the test is a little unheard-of.

  • @Redpuma119 Sorry for the BFN.

@beachbunnyxo123 Hoping your two days fly by. I work Saturday so I can clear up some over flow. I shouldn't complain - I have been off for three days !!!

    Month/Cycle: 2/2

    CD/DPO:  29/9

    Timing: -4-3-2,0

    Testing: tomorrow or sat

R/R: getting closer to Friday!  It's another crazy work week. Sigh.   Had a headache most of the day yesterday which seems to be gone this morning so yay for that!

    CS/Q: none

GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you? If no, do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?

Pretty sure I was istj. I did the DiSC recently and I was CD (compliance, dominant). Basically an introvert and a rule follower but I still like being in charge :)

  • Month/Cycle: 9/10

    CD/DPO:  22/9

    Timing:-3, IUI, +1

Testing: not any more until next week

R/R: DH and I were doing this years budget last night and realized we had made a big mistake in calculations... so we have to cut way back and unless DH finds a job that pays way more our TTC journey is done.

CS/Q: finally have pretty progesterone induced high temps.. not a question just an observation

GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you? If no, do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? Yes but I don't remember... Though I am more of an introvert. I tend to be very quiet until I feel comfortable in a situation or with people then I come out of my shell more

R/R: No rants this morning :) Rave is that it's finally almost Friday!!!  Super excited to not wake up all early for work!

    CS/Q: Nope

GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you? If no, do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert?

I have never taken this test but I feel like it would be kind of fun!  I'd like to think I'm and introvert, but I'm a complete extrovert. I basically never stop talking and I love getting to know people.

    @Redpuma119 Sorry about the BFN

@FLAshley I can't even imagine having to deal with that much snow. I don't know how you do it!  Is it always fun for a while and then gets super tiresome?  We're dealing with a lot of rain where I live and that's driving me crazy!

  • This might be better suited for WTO but wth-
For those of you using the advanced OPKs, why do you use them over the wondfo's? For those of you who have used the wondfos and switched, why? Are they better or worse in your opinion? How much do you spend a month on them? Does FF agree with you? Does any one have one of those saliva opk checkers?

    Thanks in advance
  • **Lurking from WTO**

@Redpuma119 I have used both the advanced OPKs and Wondfo. I was having some issues pinpointing O with Wondofs as one month I had positive wondfos for DAYS. I found it stressful so I switched to advanced OPKs. Plus the wondfos also stressed DH out, they weren't "clear" enough for him. My secondary symptoms (CM etc.) seem to correlate well with the advanced OPKs. This month I did stop using them after flashing smiley simply because I ran out and DH had surgery so it seemed silly to spend the money. I generally purchase them on amazon as they are cheaper than in the drug store. Last month I used Wondfos for a few days first until they started getting darker then switched over to advanced OPKs. Hope that helps!! They are more expensive but less stressful in my opinion.

    @Dilynne Happy Birthday!

@LuND tempting, ill see if I can be strong. I bet I cave on Saturday tho.

Interesting that so many of us are istj. I wonder and suspect that that's a really common one for women...  Especially detailed oriented women who scientifically monitor their cycles and BDing ;)

@wabash15 I hope you can fix the budget. Those kind of surprises are never good surprises.

@breezybee It's always super tiresome. I dread winter every single year. Everyone always says the first snow is so pretty. It's not. It's all gross.

@LuND Girl, I am with ya on the BSC. DF said maybe it's happening this morning. I just put my hand up and said don't. Do not feed my crazy anymore.

@Dilynne Happy Birthday to youuuuu !!

  • @beachbunnyxo123 BOOOOOOOO!!!!! I am so sorry AF showed up. Hopefully you can get your appointment soon.
  • @Dilynne happy birthday!!!!

@wabash15 I'm so sorry about your budgeting issues. DH and I just bought our first house two years ago and had such a hard time adjusting our budget since we moved to a different state and cost of living. If we had to do infertility treatments I don't think there would be a way for us to afford it without putting ourselves into tremendous amounts of debt. I hope you and YH are able to figure out a solution to your problem. Money sucks.

    Month/Cycle: 14/14

    CD/DPO:  25/10

    Timing: -5, -2, -1, 0, +1

    Testing: if AF is late

R/R: the stress of the past year of TTC plus working nights has caused me to gain five pounds. I've upped my exercise but I was sick of feeling bad about myself whenever I got dressed in the morning. I went shopping today and bought myself new jeans and some looser fitting shirts that don't make me depressed when I wear them. Hopefully I'll lose the weight but I refuse to feel bad about myself in the meanwhile!!

CS/Q: had a dip in temp on 7dpo and it is causing the BSC to start thinking it must be implantation. I need to stop getting my hopes up.

GTKY: Have you ever taken a Meyer's Brigg test? What type are you? If no, do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert? I did once but all I remember of it was I'm more introverted.

@WillRunForWine21 that's a wonderful accomplishment for your H!! I did the same when my DH graduated from PA school and had his white coat ceremony.  :)
