CD: 5
WAYDTGKU: Charting, temping, opks, preseed - start medications next month.
R/R: Not much here. Just waiting for AF to officially leave the building. I had the flu last week on CD1, so that was like a horrible double whammy. Happy to say I feel tons better now - just a nasty lingering cough, but all the other flu symptoms are gone.
CS/Q: Nada.
GTKY: What is your favorite inside joke with your DH/SO? Hmm - I feel like we make each other laugh all the time, but when asked to point one out a specific joke, it's hard to do. I'll think of something!

@emcake I could be wrong because I am still pretty new to this but your temps don't seem all that unusual. Even though you have a few spikes they all seem fairly "low" considering where a lot of people's coverlines typically are. For example, my coverline last month was 97.9. So all my temps after O were at or about that. So I would just keep temping and see what happens over the next few days.
@emcake Are you temping as soon as you wake up (not getting up not moving around first)? @jess0211 FX your timing works out. Sorry YH is in so much pain @JulesDP Ugh I'm sorry the delivery guy was such an asshole @Kiki75 Yay for getting into the RE so quickly!
@emcake my chart prior to O looks a lot like yours each month-it definitely isn't very consistent but is usually right around/under my coverline. I get a dip right before O and then it spikes and stays higher (at that point it is pretty consistently around the same temp) until a day or two before AF. I temp orally.
Actually @50Wife@purplg8r *TW* my rhogam shot was in my arm and it was sore after. It was 20 hours after my MC, but I had been bleeding for 5 days.*/TW* @jess0211 DH made us move in with his parents for a couple of weeks after his knee surgery so they could take care of him during the day. He was so mad when I came home and peed before getting him more ice. @Kiki75 I hope it's a fast process for you!

@hezzer78 Just this very cycle I was asking if anyone had ever noticed a correlation between AF and the plague. I seriously wonder if the shift gives colds/flu a little opportunity to slip in and double torment you.

@NYTino24 learn something new every day! Arm wasn't an option for me and the few people I know that have gotten the shot, had the same options. I even asked if they could just do it in my arm instead and they said no. These were all between 2-3 years ago, wonder if they've updated
@kiki75@hezzer78 There is a theory that there is a correlation between ovulation and sickness since your body lowers its immune system so it wouldn't fight a baby.

@slaven I got acupuncture and cupping for back/neck pain (thanks nursing!) and it helped but I was SO SORE about 36 hours after. I think this was from the cupping. Beware! Stay hydrated! Plus I second the probiotic rec for recurrent yeast infections. Worked for me. @kiwi2628 That bear video is amazing. I crossed paths with a mountain lion once and my main prerogative was gtf out of there. @NYTino24@50Wife I think Rhogam comes in a couple of different concentrations, so the hospital/clinic may have it stocked as 1500 units/1.3 mL or the same in 2 mL. Many RNs will avoid injecting anything > or equal to 2 mL into your deltoid/arm muscle cos it will hurt a lot more.
R/R: I feel like all of mine are either "UGH worst day at work" or "YAY day off." Today is a YAY day off. Something... interesting? I've been doing since we got married is buying baby clothes at the local thrift stores. I've always worn a mix of new and vintage, so it's been satisfying to hunt for amazing tiny finds. I think this was how I coped with delaying the babymaking for life reasons, and now I'm trying to think of it as good luck. Will probably do a little of that today.

GTKY: What is your favorite inside joke with your DH/SO? One of my favorite things about my partner is he's just cracking me up constantly. I'm kind of a worry wart – super serious sometimes – and he brings out the silly. We're like one long running joke when we're together. But one that's kind of appropriate for this forum (albeit weird) is the following: When we were first dating and having sex constantly, I fell asleep afterwards and had a dream that I had "conceived" an orb and H named him. This orb has become our "guardian angel" of sorts and plays a role in our TTC pillow talk.
@orbmaker yeah my upper shoulders/neck are a bit sore but it's a good sore instead of pain. Like I had a tight muscle that was released but it's still healing/sorting itself out.
@slaven I don't know what happened with me, but I almost felt like I had the flu. I couldn't stand the sensation of my shirt touching me, and I was at work to boot. I store a lot of tension in my neck/shoulders/upper back, and can only guess that something irritating was released.
