How far along are you? 25 weeks

How big is baby? 13 1/2 inches, 1 1/2 pounds (better frame of reference than rutabaga...)

Any appointments this week? Yep, this morning! Curious to see how much weight I've gained and make sure baby is measuring correctly. They'll schedule my 1 hour glucose, too.

Symptoms? Just the usual hips.

Rants/Raves/Questions? NBR: We're looking at 6 houses this Friday! I'm excited to take a half day from work and see a bunch at once. I think there are some winners in the list.

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? On Saturday, DH took me to a brewery that's also an art gallery with individual artists selling and displaying their work upstairs. It was really cool and I had a fancy non-alcoholic drink. And I finally got laid! This pregnancy has been rough on our sex life.

How big is baby? Approx. 15.2 in/2.54lbs or acorn squash

Any appointments this week? off this week but next will start my every two weeks

Symptoms? I just feel extra emotional this past week and I plan on blaming baby hormones for it

Rants/Raves/Questions? I never remember them when I do my posts.

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? well I surprised hubby with a babysitter Thursday night, so we could go on a no kid/no baby/no bill talk kind of date....hahahaha! we tried. it was a nice simple Olive Garden dinner and our typical Walmart window shopping and then starbucks coffee for dessert. lame but nice to get some one on one time.

@kns1988 good luck with your appt and you're killing me with "finally got laid". I hope it only improves for ya!

29 weeks.

Size of a Hawaiian pineapple.

Appointments: I have an u/s this morning to look at the kidneys and to finish the a/s. I also have the awesome glucose test.

Symptoms: Constipation, rlp, nausea.

Rants: I am freaking out about my weigh in this morning. It's not going to be pretty.

GTKY: Our dates are not very exciting, usually just dinner, but we have them every Friday so I can't complain. Occasionally we go up to the mountains just for dinner or go to an event. We are planning on going to see The Scarlet Pimpernel in a couple of weeks.

How big is baby? Barbie Convertable

Any appointments this week? Bi-weekly check in on Wednesday.

Symptoms? Tired and cranky. Oddly enough, my egg aversion is starting to come back. Had it from weeks 6- 22.

Rants/Raves/Questions? We have a business meeting tomorrow, which means my boss will most likely be leaving the meeting with our married board member who she is secretly involved with. Every time he's around for a meeting she takes off for part or all of the day. It puts more work on me and right now, makes me bitterly angry given I can't get time to spend with my spouse. I know, I'm spiteful.

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? I can't even remember! I'm really bummed about Valentine's this week because DH and I have been really trying to figure out a way to do something/spend some time together and it's just not happening.

How big is baby? A Rollerblade (which I find to be super funny)

Any appointments this week? Yes, on Thursday, I get to do an 1 hr glucose test and get an u/s so it is going to be a super exciting appointment.

Symptoms? Tired, emotional

Rants/Raves/Questions? So I was sick last week (still trying to kick it) so I called in on Friday and when I came in to work this morning I found that someone had thrown away my food. I am pissed for three reasons 1. my food was NOT moldy nor was it too old. 2. they were really nice containers not $1 ones 3. My name was all over them, we have a small office if you thought my containers should have been thrown away you should have told me not just done it. You know how I am!!! Got so emotional when I saw what happened that of course I cried - at work. Which I NEVER do.

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? Christmas Eve - hubby and I went to a really nice dinner just the two of us at our favorite place.

@kns1988dying at your getting laid comment. I wish I wanted to get laid. I don't thing I've gone "the distance" since this baby was conceived! I have NO drive. My poor H. I've humored him a few times, but it's certainly not been exciting. Plus, *TMI?* now I feel like I have to be on top, because MH doesn't get that he's squishing my stomach and making it impossible to breathe!

Any appointments this week? Nope, none for 3 weeks for 28 week appt and glucose test

Symptoms? The heartburn will go on... and lately my hip pain is ridiculous at night/first thing in the AM

Rants/Raves/Questions? In regards to hip pain, I do have a question. Since HS, I have had periods of time where my hips kill me at night/in the morning. Its a pretty deep pain right in my hip joint and it feels like it radiates down my femur. Its just an ache, no nerve type feelings. No one has ever been able to tell me what it is. Now that I'm getting bigger, it's really come back with a vengeance. Is there a name for this pain?? Is this a pregnancy s/e that is well known?? I would love to have a name for this pain in the future when I'm not pregnant!

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? We aren't big "date" people, since we're such big homebodies. Plus without kids, we get plenty of "us" time. But a couple weeks ago, we went to my work's "Holiday Party" (we do it in Jan since it's not as busy) and then spur of the moment, decided to go bowling after. It was really fun to do something just the two (and a half) of us out of the house.

Rants/Raves/Questions? My anxiety has been bad lately which is not helping my emotional state. Rave is we are finally starting to buy baby gear. First item is the car seat.

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? We go out a lot since it's just the two of us. Last night was dinner and a movie.

Everything looked good and kidneys are now looking normal. The only issue is that he is now measuring 3 weeks ahead so we have to go back in for another scan at 36 weeks to check on growth but we get to see him again so I'm not complaining!

Symptoms? Sciatic nerve pain

Rants/Raves/Questions? I am in Nursing School, and it's probably the WORST time to be pregnant. Some days I just want to go home and drown myself in a bottle of wine!

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on?
Last week we were out of town for a basketball tournament with the 6th grade boys team he voluntarily coaches. Afterwards we went and ate just the 2 of us at a Mexican restaurant someone he works with recommended. SO good. I didn't consider having to ride in a car for 2 hours afterwards though. I couldn't get comfortable the entire ride back.

Any appointments this week? My Glucose Test is on Wed

Symptoms? My back and hips are awful! I had to stop going to the gym :-(

Rants/Raves/Questions? Reality is setting in and I'm starting to feel overwhelmed with all the decisions that needs to be made.

GTKY: What was the last good date you've been on? My hubs and I go on a Christmas City date every year, this year we got a hotel room and were upgraded to executive level!!

Bump app says head of lettuce?

I have one on next tuesday. Im dying to go and see how they are growing. *tw-not sure if it needs it or not* but during my hospital stay last week, they couldnt find a's heartbeat when we arrived and ended up calling in an ob to do an u/s. She found a quickly and looked just long enough to get a heart rate so i cant wait to see both and for longer. I have been so worried that im not eating enough for two babes but im just not hungry.

Cant sleep bc im uncomfortable and have to pee every two hrs. Sore and tired. Keep feeling out of breath very easily.

A few months ago we went bowling with my brother and sil and for some reason it was so fun!!
