How far along are you? 8w 4d but doc hasn't given me official due date yet

How are you feeling? My nausea seems to be settling down but I'm now having daily migraines. I'm bloated, constipated, exhausted, and emotional.

Any appointments this week? Next week.

R/Rs? Not today

Now that you're having twins, do you plan on having more children or is this it for you? I've always wanted to adopt but now I'm not sure we can afford it. I still hope to, timenwill tell!!!

Hi! Sorry to jump in but wondering if any of the twin mom's might be able to give some advice. We had our 6 week US this past week and had a bit of a surprise seeing a 2nd sac. The 1st sac and eggo inside was measuring perfectly 6w2 days with a great heartbeat (which is exactly where I was at). The 2nd sa was measuring 5w6d (and a eggo/heartbeat was not found yet as it was too far above the 1st sac to see clearly at this stage). They were saying it could be a twin or it just could be a sac of fluid. Did any of your ultrasound pics look anything like this? The eggo/sac on the top is the one that we saw the heartbeat and fetal pole on. The one below it is the one we weren't able to see yet.

I had my first ultrasound at 5w6d. 2 sacs, no heartbeats. We waited 1 week and I had another ultrasound at 6w6d and both heartbeats were seen. I did tons of googling and it's fairly common for one to be developing faster than the other. It's totally possible you will see the second heartbeat in a week. From what I read, there is about a 30% chance of only one developing when 2 sacs are seen before heartbeats. If the second doesn't develop your body will absorb it and it doesn't affect the one that's growing. Fingers crossed for you! Keeps us updated!

How far along are you? 7w1d

How are you feeling? Like I was hit by a truck. Nausea that's worse in the evenings, achy, so tired, bloated, constipated. Definitely worse than my previous pregnancies.

Any appointments this week? Another ultrasound on Thursday.

R/Rs? I'm still shocked, and honestly scared.

Now that you're having twins, do you plan on having more children or is this it for you? We have DS1 (4), DS2 (1). This will be 4 for us and I'm about 95% sure we will be done. We wanted 3 for sure, and then we wanted to discuss a 4th in a few years. I can't imagine we will want a 5th, but we won't do anything permanent just incase. I'll probably get an IUD.

How are you feeling? Exhausted. In shock. We just found out today we'll be having twins.

Any appointments this week? We had our first ultrasound today. One baby measuring exactly 6+3 and one is 6+1

R/Rs? Nothing right now.

Now that you're having twins, do you plan on having more children or is this it for you? We already have one DD, so having two more will 99% be it for us!

I'll respond to my own post since so no one was here last week. Welcome to the new posters!

How far along are you? 10+2

How are you feeling? mostly pretty good. Still little appetite, pretty consistent headaches, and I've been a little crampy today, which for PGAL is a little unsettling.

Any appointments this week? I see my OB on Thursday, finally.

R/Rs? I had an ultrasound last tuesday, but already feeling I need another to be put at ease. Ugh. I know I won't get one and the waiting is so hard. Hopefully we'll find the heartbeats on the doppler and that'll be enough to relax me for another couple weeks. Probably not.

Now that you're having twins, do you plan on having more children or is this it for you? This will be 4 and 5 so we'll be calling our family complete after this.

@Daisy621 I completely understand the PGAL brain! It's so scary all the uncertainty between appointments!

Our appointment today was just so quick. Since I was under the treatment of an RE he just checked to see if there were sacs. We saw the baby's and the sacs, but I don't think he even looked for a heartbeat. Maybe it's not something he does and leaves it up to the OB/GYN? I don't know, but even though we saw two perfectly timed babies (I am 6+3 and one measured 6+3 and the other 6+1), I am going to still be nervous until our next appointment in two weeks!
