I prefer Elias. It's strong and professional with NN potential. I've also never been a fan of Jude. All i can think of is "hey jude" and although i'm sure he won't deal with that from other kids it's just where my mind goes.

Both are good names, but I would pick Jude. The first time I heard the name Elias was on a student of mine, and it literally took me six months to be confident I was correctly remembering which syllable to accent. No idea why, it just wouldn't stick in my head, and I had to check my note on the roster every time. Might be just me though.

I prefer Elias (although both are solid names). One of my closest girlfriends has a Jude and she said she often gets people who think she said June. Don't know if it's just the way she says it, or if this is common, but thought I'd mention it! I think you are good either way!
