Any new symptoms or changes? I am eating way too much dairy and my body hates me for it. I need to ask the OB if there's anything I can take for gas.
Rants/Raves/Questions? I went running for the first time in 6 weeks! It was only 2 slow miles but even slow miles are still miles.

Upcoming appointments this week? I have a phone appt on Wed with the nurse about prenatal stuff, dos and don'ts
Any new symptoms or changes? I'm feeling less nauseous, having a bit more energy. But I'm sick with a head cold so that sucks!
Rants/Raves/Questions? I told my husband to not share his cold with me, he didn't listen. I'm also done with winter, we've gotten over a foot of snow since Thursday, and a second blizzard is coming tonight into tomorrow.
GTKY: What's your favorite movie or book (or both)? I absolutely love the Harry Potter series, both books and movies.

All of the sudden I have food aversions! Can't finish my meals and the thought of what I normally eat makes my stomach turn. But you better believe I can destroy a shamrock shake!

The food aversion thing is definitely a rant. Rave- I'm feeling pretty good besides that. We've started telling everyone and it's starting to get more real!
GTKY: What's your favorite movie or book (or both)?
The book the Giver made me fall in love with reading as a child, so I feel like that will always be my favorite book. As far as movies, I'm definitely a Grease/Dirty Dancing kinda girl. And there are a handful of comedies that I could watch on repeat.

Upcoming appointments this week? tomorrow! I think it's just a quick check up, but it's always good to hear that heartbeat.
Any new symptoms or changes? I feel like my nausea has moved to afternoon/evening, which beats all day! At least I get semi-productive mornings. Fingers crossed that it doesn't go back to how it was.

Tired of being nauseous and tired all the time. Found out we are having a girl and am pretty excited about that.
GTKY: What's your favorite movie or book (or both)?
I read a lot so and it is hard to choose a favorite, it depends on my mood. I really liked the Lord of the Rings trilogy but for daily reading I normally stick to easy reads. I love sci-fy movies like Serenity and Star Wars.

First appointment with midwife tomorrow! Although I think it might be cancelled due to another blizzard.
Any new symptoms or changes?
I can only eat cold food. As long as I avoid delicious things like pizza my nausea is almost gone.

I've run 20 miles in blizzard conditions since Thursday (4,10,6). I was fine until this morning - now my whole body hurts. Even though I'm not really showing the pregnancy support belt helped with bladder pain.
GTKY: What's your favorite movie or book (or both)?
I love anything British/Scottish/Irish in nature. I'm in book 3 of Outlander right now, but I think my favorite books are Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre.

Upcoming appointments this week? had my 12 week checkup Friday morning and got to have an ultra sound for heartbeat check. So nice to see a healthy growing baby with LONG legs!!
Any new symptoms or changes? haven't had morning sickness or any nausea but food aversions have been bad this week where I am hungry but just can't eat much.

None until the end of the month. Thank goodness for the fetal doppler to keep my sanity during the long wait.
Any new symptoms or changes?
A lot of discharge. I know it's totally normal, and it isn't enough to need a panty liner but it's wicked annoying. I am totally in leggings or maternity pants... my normal pants don't fit over the bump. And I whipped out my snoogle which has made sleeping way better!

Rant... I need oral surgery sometime in the near future and I'm terrified. Rave...my son is just the cutest. He loves kissing my belly and runs over with the doppler to hear his baby brother or sister. It melts my heart!

Favorite movie of all time is Forrest Gump. Favorite books are hands down the Harry Potter series. Or Catcher in the Rye.

We have our NT sono on Thursday. And then we have our monthly check-up with the OB next Monday.
Any new symptoms or changes?
Nothing really new. Still feel crazy tired. Other than that, the peeing every 2 seconds has gotten better and the nausea gets better every day. Still have bouts where I'll eat something that doesn't agree with me but it doesn't happen as often. TIM *still crazy amounts of gas too. I feel terrible for my husband, but he's a trooper!

Rant: I feel so unmotivated to come to work each morning. Maybe it's the tired feeling or the fact that my mind is still mostly centered on the fact that I'm going to be having a baby. But I just don't even want to deal with work which is definitely unlike me. Rave: Excited (albeit a bit nervous too) for our sono this week. If everything looks good, we'll finally announce!

This tough for me. I really love the movie Contact. For books, I'm also obsessed with HP and have recently begun reading all of the Tom Clancy novels.
