Foley Bulb?

Anyone had a foley bulb placed to dilate  their cervix? My blood pressure has been climbing, and my midwife talked about this as a possible method of induction, if my numbers don't go down. I'm currently on bedrest, and eating 120 grams of protein and drinking a gallon of water daily, as instructed by my midwife.  I've also been limiting my sodium to 1,500 mg per day, or less. My hope is that my pressure will go down, and I can let my baby stay inside until I naturally begin labor, but also am willing to go with induction, if necessary. I'm currently almost 38 weeks. I just want to know if anyone has had a foley bulb used, and how their experience went. Thank you!

    I had one placed with my son. The actual placement was uncomfortable, and only a little painful. It stayed in for about 12 hours, and once it was out I was dilated to about a 4. After it came out, they started pitocin. While it was in i felt lots of cramping.
