TGIF everyone!!

What are everyone's plans for this weekend?

Im going crazy during the TWW. Im at 8 DPO and have ALL the pg symptoms but had a BFN this morning. So im going to try to stay as busy as I can this weekend so keep myself sane.

Tomorrow DH and I are going to take the pup to the dog park for the first time. She starts puppy preschool next week so she needs to start learning to socialize with other dogs. The dop park near our house has an area for smaller dogs so that makes me feel better that it won't be too overwhelming for her.
That night DH and I are going to be celebrating Valentine's Day by going out to dinner and to the casino at Niagara Falls ( which is like 30 min from us). We are not huge gamblers but I thought it would be fun to walk around, eat, play the slots and just get out of the house for a little bit. Sunday we are going to another open house in our ongoing house hunt.

@tscalei tww is the worst ever, everything crossed it's just too early. have fun at the casino and good luck with your house hunt.

The only thing I have scheduled for this weekend is an IUI tomorrow and another Monday. DH is working 4-12 saturday and sunday so maybe we can run some errands in the morning and I'll be kicking back in the evenings.

@TScalei- 8dpo is way too early to test

I would wait until 12 or 14 dpo.

Tonight DH and DD have a daddy daughter dance to attend so I get the night to myself.

Saturday MIL has DD in the afternoon and evening so DH and I have the day to ourselves. We plan on seeing the new 50 shades movie and dinner. It will be our early Vday date. Probably BD as well

Sunday nothing planned as of yet.

@TScalei All the positive vibes going your way. I'm not a big gambler either. We live about 3 hours away from a casino in Connecticut. My favorite is going to the shops,people watching and sucking in all that oxygen that they are pumping into the air.

I'm also in TWW - 9 DPO. Spotted a little yesterday, spotted a little today. I feel like I always spot around this time and AF comes a few days later. I want to think IB, but who am I kidding since that's what I thought the last couple of cycles.

DH is coming home from his business trip tonight. Haven't seen him since Monday morning. We got walloped with a blizzard yesterday. School was cancelled yesterday and today. I shoveled twice to no avail yesterday. My sweet neighbor used his snow blower to clear our driveway

I received an Instant Pot for Christmas because some of you ladies were raving about it and my bro in law was desperate for ideas. I have been so intimidated. I read the manual, watched a youtube video about the water test and it's being done right now. I'm welcoming all feedback and recipes!! Is it really that easy and delish? I'm so afraid that I'm going to blow up the kitchen.

@vlagrl29 - I know I never test this early and should know better - lol. Hoping i would be one of the flukes that gets a BFP early but gonna hold out for a couple more days. Enjoy the dinner and movie!

@SP128 - Fx for you this cycle too! Glad your DH will be home to spend the weekend with you. Can't wait to hear about what you make with the instant pot!

@SP128 I want to get an insta pot so bad! They sound amazing! There's a thread over on ttgp about them with a couple of recipes that sound good. Have fun using yours!

AFM, I have a hair appointment tomorrow and after DH has tball practice (he's coaching our nephew's team) so DS and I will probably go watch. And we have nothing planned for Sunday.

It is going to be beautiful this weekend (upper 60's one day upper 50's the other) so we're spending as much time outside as we can!
I woke up with my face hurting today

So much pressure. I'm hoping it's just my allergies since the weather has been ping ponging between super cold and nice so much the past few weeks. I really hope it's not the beginnings of a sinus infection.
Im hoping our FW is this weekend/beginning of the week. It half way feels crazy to be trying again right after our loss but at the same time, we don't feel like waiting and we both feel like we're ready.
We got to meet the new ob yesterday and I like her. She reminds me a lot of my old ob which is good. If I didn't like her I was tempted to just keep the old one and make the 2 hour drive for all appointments!

@TScalei. I hate TWW. It just seems like the longest two weeks ever. Hope you can occupy your wait. Have fun at the casino. I love house hunting. We just bought out house two years ago and it was so much fun looking

I've been super exhausted since I got KU. AF is on her way out and it took everything out of me. DH is working today and taking a promotion class tomorrow while I go to the chiro and acupuncture. Going to lay low.

Ok I've been hearing so much about this Instant Pot! Should I add it to my wedding registry?

No real plans though my fiancé and I want to do something fun. DD is with her father this weekend and it's been raining for the past 2 weeks so we need to get out of the house for our own sanity.

I took the plunge and bought an Instapot last night! I checked out all the vegan recipes and I couldn't resist. The ability to make vegan yogurt and cheesecake sold me. Can't wait until it gets here. smiley:

@Mack2342 I'll let you know how I like it. I plan on making soy yogurt in it for my first recipe.

@justsuzie It was really good and the meat was really tender. It did take awhile though. So, pretty much I feel like the Instant Pot would be good for meals that usually take a long time to make. For me, these recipes are for weekends only. The curry took 45 minutes of actual cooking time and about 25 minutes for the pressure to naturally release. To get meat that tender on the stove top would've taken forever. The great thing is that you can set it and forget it.

@SP128 I am vegan so we won't be using for meat but we use our slow cooker ALL the time so we needed a replacement. We got the big boy 8quart. I really hope it's worth it.
